Aww... I didn't watch the Nintendo Direct, but I was hoping for just a little more to be announced. Oh, well. There's always next time (I hope), whenever that is. xD

The reappearance of the Red, Blue and Yellow for the 3DS was certainly unexpected. But yeah... I don't know, if it's just the same old game, I don't see much of a point in buying the new version instead of playing the old one, but it's fun to see they're doing something on Pokémon's twentieth anniversary.

I really wonder why they're making so many random mini spin-off games for Pokémon. Okay, Pokkén is quite nice, just not really my type of game, but crossovers are always fun. But now they recently made Shuffle and have both Go and Picross announced. I really prefer to see them more focus on the main series and some quality spin-offs.

I honestly am not too happy about it sure its cool theyre doing something and all but most people have played red blue and yellow and if they havent its not expenisve to buy the gbc or gba and play them. basically in my mind they said....you can even trade from them now! WITHOUT A LINK CAPLE ITS REVOLUTIONARY. But ya not all too interesting for me

Honestly nintendo enough spinoffs for right now lets focus on the games at hand aka the next pokemon game and pokken like plz i want pokken GIVE ME POKKEN

I'm actually pretty surprised at all of the Pokkén hype, haha. Yes, it looks good, but it seems like there is a very small roster of playable Pokémon so far (compared to most fighting games I've played), unless they aren't finished announcing all of them. Then again, I haven't been following Pokémon news all too much lately... the only things that are keeping me interested are the new XY&Z anime and Super Mystery Dungeon, and hopefully Z Version which sadly isn't confirmed yet.
 
40 I think rereleasing them is good for the kids who haven't played them and would prefer to play on a 3ds though they might find the graphics jarring

They havent even started to announce the entire lineup nor is it even in japan yet so im guessing the roster will get much larger by then and even if it is smaller its still gonna be amazing not just the graphics but the overall effects and play will be fun

I hope so! I've really enjoyed playing as the Pokémon in Smash Bros. (though it's a shame they removed Ivysaur), so I think Pokkén might have pretty fun gameplay as well! Now the only problem is that I don't have a Wii U... xD

You know those fighting games like Street Fighter and Tekken? Basically, Pokkén is the Pokémon version of those games, or at least I think it's supposed to be. :p

It should be coming out on March 18 in Japan, and sometime later in 2016 for the rest of the world!
