72 I've finished AS but I won't restart bc I've got an arceus there that's like a friendship bracelet from a precious friend. And I ain't doing pokebank lol
Same here! As much as I adore PokéBank itself, I'm just not a big fan of subscription fees haha, especially when I probably wouldn't use it too often anyway. :P
I personally wouldn't mind if they made another 3DS app that was more like Pokémon Box R&S, which doesn't rely on the internet. That way, you can manage your Pokémon while you're away from home or something, and not worry about your service terminating. xD (The price to buy it should definitely be higher, of course!)
Does anybody know if the 3DS RBY will be compatible to trade with the sixth generation games regarding trades? Gen I and II were, even when GSC had more Pokémon and moves.

Adding to what Tara said, the reason it shouldn't be possible is because the difference in coding structure between these two generations is insanely huge. If I recall correctly, this was one of the main reasons that Generation III had trouble connecting with the first two generations, so naturally it would be even worse in Generation VI's case. They would need to do a ton of reprogramming in R/B/Y to make it trade-compatible with the newer games, which would be even more unnecessary effort for a game that's completely outdated.
Yup, basically! And there would be problems on Generation VI's end, too. I imagine that it would be really difficult to make the newest games read data from R/B/Y, though I suppose that it's technically still possible if they were REALLY determined to do it. (Patches, anyone?) :P
In the end, I don't think it's worth the effort when they could just invest that effort into a remake-remake, haha. xD
