Some Ghost-types aren't even ghosts. What is Frillish exactly?

Frillish is a jellyfish, but I think the Ghost-type adds something fun to it.

Pretty much none of the Ghost-types are actual ghosts...except Shedinja, Spiritomb, Yamask, and Phantump.

Can someone please explain to me what a Honedge is? Is it a ghost? Or just a magic sword that can be confined in the space of a small ball?

Spirits, ghosts, isn't that all the same?

Anyway, I don't think ghosts are ghosts in the meaning of dead Pokémon, because that would mean multiple dead Pokémon would look the same as ghosts (as the number of non-ghost Pokémon is larger than the number of ghost Pokémon). But there is a link between death and ghosts: if you look around sanctuaries, there are always a lot of wild ghost type Pokémon.
The definition of the ghost type would be around "creepy floating Pokémon" instead of actual undead being.

So about Frillish .... I can't really see the "ghost part of it" but I actually like its typing! Its design is awesome too, to lame they screwed up with its evolution! I really don't like Jellicent >.< Creeeeeepy!

Hmm, I don't know what to say about Jellicent. There's nothing wrong with it, but it's kinda just... there. Frillish, on the other hand, is quite memorable because of its role in the anime!
