I forgot! What is Golett? A ghost?

Ugh yeah, why is there ever a ghost type, like, can someone tell me what are Shedinja, Spiritomb, Yamask, and Phantump?

I mean, what is a Shedinja? An insect with a spirit itself? A dead old skin meets zombie?

Oh, and what about Spiritomb? Bunch of souls trapped in a stone? more like a huge gas. Like that gastly, what is that?

And Yamask, a flying mask? A mask on a string?

I forgot! Phantump? A snake with a tree stump costume?

Its obvious that all ghosts should be invisible with a white sheet to resemble their obvious ghostly silhouette. Dont even know why we have Ghost type in pokemon.

First of all, Shedinja is the exoskeleton of Nincada which apparently went to heaven, explaining the Ghost-type.

Spiritomb is 108 spirits confined into a small stone, so duh, it's a ghost.

Yamask's dex entry (forgot which one) states that it holds the mask of its face when it was a human and cries whenever it looks at it. So, obviously a ghost.

Phantump is a spirit that possesses a rotten ttre stump. Conclusion? Ghost.

Now why not you ask why we have a Dragon type?

You dont have to corrent anything lol. Also, might come as a surprise, but there are dex definitions for other Pokemon too. Even some trivia fun facts.

Honedge
" Apparently this Pokémon is born when a departed spirit inhabits a sword. It attaches itself to people and drinks their life force."

Drifloon
"A Pokémon formed by the spirits of people and Pokémon. It loves damp, humid seasons."

Frillish is a ghost cos it resembled one a it like any other jellyfish does and cos they needed more ghost type Pokemon. Gastly is a ghost cos it resembled one as well it does some ghosts from the legends and whatnot.

I figured since your 4 posts in a row were filled with ghost Pokemon and question marks, someone should give you the explanation before you get a headache.
Even a free advice for you, bulbapedia and other websites offer astonishing amount of fun facts that explain many of pokemon mysteries, so you should definitely check them out.
