    Hello!

    I've been a Pokemon addict for years, not sure why I never joined a forum before. It is high time for me to do so, however, as there is a severe lack of people to geek out with to Pokemon where I live! Especially considering I've been through every generation of Pokemon.

    This looks like a fun place however! I sort of poked around a bit last night, but joined today. I'd like to have another look around to get myself used to this.

    Um, not sure what else to say, cause I feel like I'll just be babbling and rambling on. Currently playing X and Y, prefer X. I don't want to say I'm hardcore into training and battling and the IVs and all of that. I simply like to raise teams and play for the fun of it. :D Well, I guess I would hope most people are playing because they are having fun!

    X is the bomb yes! That's the version I went with so anyone who comes to the X side gets a cookie, heh. ;P Welcome to PokeCommunity, Quillifer! It is wonderful to meet you.

    It's never too late to join a forum - I've known about them for over a decade yet I became active on Pokemon forums sometime in 2011 so that took me quite a while. There are a lot of faces here who are just getting settled in regards to forum communities. PC is a great place to start with too as we're all really friendly and the staff are eager to help.. so you've chosen a wonderful little (well, big) place to pop into.

    Be sure to stop by our Pokemon X & Y board as well as the Trade Corner/Plaza if you're looking for some trades. :) And if you ever need help with your teams - be it competitive or in-game - there's the Battle Center to explore. Plenty of places to check out here so you'll definitely have a splendid time. Be sure to read the rules!

    Yes, I love X! Grateful for the Pokemon Bank so I could transfer all of my favs from Platinum to Black and then over to X. Great times. 8D

    I usually go by just Quill, name sake from a Zelda Wind Waker character. Quillifer is indeed the long form of that haha!
     
    Oh, I definitely love your avatar; I've played Legend of Zelda, the Wind Waker on the GameCube as well as on HD on the Nintendo Wii U and it's really one of my faaaavourite Zelda games. Nice to hear that you're playing Pokemon X as well! I have both games, but they're both pretty amazing! <33

    And nice to meet you as well! Aye, this forum is pretty great if you wanna get into some pokemon discussions with the rest of us! I can safely say that the majority of members and staff members are pretty friendly and approachable, so you know, feel free to get to know the ones that interest you the most! I'm sure you won't be disappointed! The pokemon boards like the ones for the games, and even misc. ones like General, Gaming Discussions, and so on are pretty great too.

    I like to play just for the sake of it sometimes too; that's what I'm doing on pokemon X, since all of my breeding and battling all takes place on my Pokemon Y file. Good stuff!     Like Sheep over there, I'm also playing X so yeah I guess I'll give you a cookie as well. I have both games but I picked that one as my main because I liked the version exclusives better, or at least most of them for that matter. The others have already shown you around so not much I can leave for you.

    We get loads of newbies joining for battle and trade-related stuff so I'm sure you'll enjoy both Trade Corner and Battle Center, we even have a Pokemon Showdown server (the Battle Server link on the header shows you how to get there) where I happen to be an active member myself, sadly I might or might not be on because I don't have my own computer right now but I do hope to see you there.

    Anyways, have fun, ask a staff member if you need help and I'll see ya around!
