    Lately there's been a lot of looking back. This is understandable, as the year's winding down to an end and even if this year wasn't bursting with good games, there were still multiple enjoyable titles this year and I would be hard-pressed to say that this year hasn't at all been interesting.

    One reason in particular that this year was interesting is associated with its title as the "Year of Delays". Many games that were set to come out this year are coming out in 2016, and coupled with the titles that were announced for next year anyway, there's a treasure trove to be excited for.

    With that all said and done, what games or events are you looking forward to in 2016?
     
    I still can't hype myself for Persona 5 since I totally see dub only again...
    So I guess, Neptunia VII takes its place for now...

    But obvious one is obvious,

    Time
    Dilemma


    Also, you can't seriously believe Last Guardian will actually come =D There's no way it will come on PS4 =D
    PS5 at best =D
     
    There are only two games I'm genuinely excited for that will come out in 2016:

    - Fire Emblem: Fates. Awakening is my favorite game ever, and based on what I've seen so far (which I admit is very little) I think it may even top Awakening. I'm super hyped for this and I can't wait until it comes out.

    - The new Zero Escape game, I forgot what it's name was. I bought Virtue's Last Reward when it was on sale, and after having played it for about 15 hours straight with little brakes in between playing of course, I bought 999 so I could finish that before I got to the end of VLR. This franchise takes up the number two spot of my list of favorite games ever, so again. Super hyped about finally getting a sequel.

    EDIT: And Pokkén Tournament too, but since I don't own a WiiU... Yeah.

    I'm a fighters nut so Street Fighter V is the obvious answer for me. It'll easily last me the whole year, especially with a steady release of new characters over the year.

    Uncharted 4, Persona 5, Star Fox Zero, Pokken, Cuphead and the inevitable Pokemon Z are up there too.
     
    Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon is interesting to me (It comes out in Europe in 2016).
    And one I'm REALLY looking forward to:
    Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth, I've been waiting for a new Digimon game to get localized for the past 8 years and 2016 is making it a reality, and it's a sequel to Dawn and Dusk no less!

    Final Fantasy XV, Street Fighter 5 (okay, maybe a bit less, buuuut), Tekken 7 (it IS getting a 2016 PS4 release right?) and Pokémon Z(?). I'd be excited for Pokken if I had a Wii U, but the odds of that happening are extremely low right now. Also curious about the new Digimon game~ it's been a long time since I played a Digimon game...
     
    I'm just waiting for Bravely Second since I hear it fixes the one major problem I had with the game and possibly an unannounced Pokemon game that will come out during the 3rd quarter.
     
    I am super excited for Persona 5, the Last Guardian, and Zelda U... You know, if we do get Zelda U next year.

    SHOULD come.
    They showcased it on E3.
    Sony wants to release it in 2016 (better avoid saying next/this year xD) to further help PS4, but there's literally no way it will come. It's The Last Guardian, that game cannot be released =D

    You should be more worried about TLG, though xD
     
    According to the creator of TLG, the only reason we're seeing it is because he's contractually obligated to finish it.

    Really, hearing the why made me pretty disheartened and, honestly, I don't really expect too much. I'd much rather he just scrap the thing he doesn't want to work on and go onto the other projects he actually wants to do. Mainly because this, all things considered, raises quality concerns.
