What books have you read lately?

I just finished Dewey, and if you are a cat lover this is a must-read. [so sad, though :( ] [by Viki Myron]
I've read Pay It Forward, which is really good and has a movie based off of it. [forgot author]
Pendragon Series - the best series I've ever read, the tenth book is coming out soon. [by D.J. MacHale]

I've been looking forward to reading Midnight Sun, too.

For some reason, I took a liking to the Star Wars Novels (Episode I-VI). Other than that, I recently read the original version of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and some John Grisham novels (The Runaway Jury & A Time To Kill).

I just read The Faerie Path
don't read it
O.O

ugh, it's a run-of-the-mill Faerie love story (and it's a TRILOGY!) and I don't plan on picking up the second or third book
it makes me especially sick because I'm currently writing a Faerie Trilogy, and there's actually some real action in it *rolls her eyes*
:P

I recently re-read City of Ember, it's a great book full of action and mystery.

I am now reading The People of Sparks. So far it's a good book although it got confusing at one point.

The last book I finished reading was jPod by Douglas Coupland, on the recommendation of my pair. The next one I have is Stephen Fry in America, which is a journey undertaken by Fry for the BBC to show an honest view of America, in an attempt to put to rest the bigoted anti-American views of many Britons.

I've forgotten to mention those books. The City of Ember was really good, but I wish I was able to see the movie.

The People of Sparks is also good, just not quite as good as the City of Ember.

My friend read the City of Ember books except for the most recent. She said that they were pretty much exactly like these books she had read a while ago. I'll have to ask her what they were called again :P

Currently I'm reading The Seventh Tower by Garth Nix. Does anyone else have the nagging suspicion that that's not the author's actual name? XD

I've read somthing by Garth Nix, and I'm pretty sure that it is a pseudonym. Right now I'm reading Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightnign Theif.

I'm currently reading the novel Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen, about 40% through with it and I absolutely love it.

I'm now reading By Any Means by Charley Boorman where he travels from Ireland to Australia using as many different methods of transport as he can. Shame Ewan McGregor isn't with him though.

I am currently reading "Ender's Game". Thare's some messed up stuff in that book, but overall it's pretty good.

I, for some odd reason, have not fallen on the TWILIGHT bandwagon... I read the first book, but, then I stopped.
I just bought Sabriel;Lariel; and Abhorsen. And, to be honest, I cannot put Sabriel down. I read it before when I was like, 11, but, it's much better now.

I've just finished reading the Twilight series and i know the whole fad and its mostly for chicks but honestly its a good series. There are some romance parts but there are action parts and as a guy I thought it was a good series. Other than that i just got done reading Brisingr of the Inheritance Cycle which was good but I can't wait for the end book to see how things rap up. Hopefully it wont take too long to be released. Also recommend Harry Potter series.

Hmm... I've recently read the Hunger Games, Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Theif, The Sea of Monsters, The Titans Curse, and The Battle at the Labyrinth. I'm currently reading one of three books that make up a prequel to the Pendragon series, by D.J. MacHale. The next two come out in February and March.

I finished rereading The Redemption of Althalus by David and Leigh Eddings, Jonathon Strange and Mr Norrell, mr Nice by howard Marks, overall these are all good books and I recommend them.

SQUEE! <3<3<3<3

I'm reading that now as well. Of course, I'm on my maybe possibly eighth read-through. I love that book so much, and each time I read it, I notice something new.

But it's two sequels are bloody amazing. Ender in Exile and Speaker for the Dead are my two favorite books ever.

I was reading Sister Carrie by Theodore Dreiser, but stopped because...Card beckoned me. =[ And because Sister Carrie is really difficult to get through.
