What do you call your Rival?

I call them names according to the manga.

R/B/Y: Blue
G/S/C: Silver
R/S/E: (Unable to select the name, but if I could, female would be Sapphire, male would be Ruby)
FR/LG: Blue (Once again)
D/P/?: Barry

Should of named him Kamon or Silver. Those are the official names for that G/S/C dude, which I guess you're trying to keep strictly to the anime and such.

let's see in Silver version I called him ??? the first tme cuz i thought u had to give the officer that actual name.

I did the same thing the first time I played it.

I usually call him loser or something like that. I think on Diamond I gave him a proper name.

I usually call him Gary or whatever lol. But in DP I called him damion

you have the same DP rival name on my diamond game...

Whenever I have a choice, I always name him John.

No Particular reason, that's just I've always named him ever since I started playing Pokemon when Red and Blue came out.

I usually called my rival of any pokemon game Chapon...
Which is in french... Some kind of castrated rooster that's fatten up to be eaten... So... :P

Haha... I call him Ryan!! ;P Like my PC rival! No I don't.... I usually go with John or Eric or something like that. It's a shame you can't name your rival in R/S/E :(

Crystal/Gold Version - Jacob or Alex

Emerald Version - Brendan

Fire Red Version - Same as Red Version

Pearl Version - Roy

In my most recent Red Version file, I named my rival Blue, since my character's name is Red.

For all the roms i've played i have chosen the name (a)(s)(s)(h)o(l)e (without the paranthesis) for my rival. It suited Proffessor Oak's grandson the best.

And when its a girl, I name her Ellie. Because I'm forced to name every female rival after my annoying totally awexome best friend. T_T

Usually it's some stupid name though. Sometimes it's lol wut and stuff like that. Sometimes I say Ash because that shows just how much they suck. In Ruby I am always a guy so I can get May because her music is cooler lol
