What do you do in a School Assembly?

Well one of the teachers ramble on in-front of us & year 9, I just day dream about.....I dunno......Final Fantasy.

We only have 1 assembly each week, and they are usually pretty boring. Since mine is on friday, i usually ask someone in blue tie (who have their assembly on Tuesday) if it was stupidly boring, or something we all have heard enough times to recite it off by heart.
If either is the case, I usually just hang around in the corridors near my next lesson and draw. As well as have a bit of laugh with mates, and sometimes my english teacher.

Our school 'house' had assembly on a Friday, so I'd ask one of my friends in the other houses what it was about, if it was anything decent then I'd go (They sometimes had someone playing music or something). If it was pointless, I wouldn't go.

During my boring school assembly's, I usually just sit there and daze off, unless I am sitting next to a friend, then we'll talk xD

Blech, I hate assemblies. Being a boys-only school, they're all about sports, which I have less than no interest in. So I half-listen to what national competition we won this week, and half try not to punch the guys behind me. People have an odd habit of untucking the shirt of the guy in front of them in assembly, which is helped by the slot in the back of the chair. It's a pain in the ass.

I also occasionally stand up to get awards. But that's only on the rare occasions we have assemblies focusing on academic achievement instead of bashing skulls on the rugby field. And when I say rare, I mean about three times a year. Lor'.

Urgh, I haven't had school assemblies since Primary School, thank God. They introduced assemblies when I was in Sixth Form but we used to go and hide in the library instead and claim we were doing work XD But yeah, in Primary School I used to sit in the corner and daydream.
