    This has got to be the most common poll in this area, ever.

    I'll be the first to say it. Looks are important to me. They are, of course, the first thing I notice about a girl.

    Personality wise, she must have a sense of humour. I can not stand people who can't take/make jokes, they bore me senseless as I spend most of my life laughing and joking.

    Honesty is incredibly important to me too. I'd much rather a person be honest and say something hurtful to me than just to brush over it with a lie. I'm a big boy, I can handle the truth, I just get really annoyed when someone hides something because they're scared/trying to be nice or whatever.

    Those are really the only big ones, to be honest. A few shared interests is always good, as it gives something to talk about and mutually enjoy. being fairly active would be nice too, since I'm usually very active and I want a girl to be able to keep up with me. Oh, and of course, cleanliness is always important. Don't wanna be dating any hobo wannabes, do we?

    Annnd this is the longest reply I've made in threads like this.
     
    I won't lie, the first thing I notice about a girl is looks. I like girls with long hair.

    I also like girls to have a sense of humor, I can't stand it when girls won't take a joke.

    Cleanliness is important I suppose, I'm around my [dirty] brother a lot, so I'd like someone who is clean (at least a little)

    Someone who is honest, I can't stand it when people poke around a subject for hours before telling me something. I'm used to having people tell me something bluntly, so they have to be outright and honest.

    I'd like someone with similar interests (anime and sci-fi especially) so we won't be to exact opposites, but thats not as important as the others.
     
    Can I just say "refer to last year's version of this thread" so I don't have to type a freakin' essay again?

    Agreed that this question appears in unusual quantity... it's even worse than once a year. o.O;

    EDIT: Now isn't that funny... I swear that I mentioned how the girl must specifically be christian (to share the same faith), yet when I type in search to find all of my posts with the word christian in it, I can't find anything... hm, where did the old thread go? *keeps searching*

    I'm not so focused on looks, I mean, I've been with some ugly girls before, but personality really means alot to me.

    Em, Interests are important, I mean, I don't want someone too similar, nor too different from me, hobbies kinda tie into this...

    For some reasons, I've kinda gone through this phase where I've only dated dominant girls who I know could've kicked my ass xD

    I would be looking for someone who is spirtitual, but in total, faith/religion doesn't matter much to me

    Otherwise, that's all I'm really looking for...

    Other, would have to be, hands down, intelligence. I can't stand people who don't have an ounce of intelligence to their name. < <;;

    Intelligence is a quality I need when I date someone. =_= Because if it's not there, I get very very frustrated, and when I get frustrated, I have a tendency to insult everything around me, which makes me a very bitter person. :3
     
    I have a problem against people whom can't control their weight as well. o_O; Especially if they complain about it themselves.

    As for the need of intelligence, I sympathize. Even though I can deal with stupid people, I can't deny their lack of ability and will to make me feel visible; makes me feel whatever thought I offer them is one-way, and whatever I say has a high chance of going over their head or being ignored. o_O;
     
    Well, the first thing I look for in a guy is a sense of humor and kindness. He can be as hot as they come but, if he's rude and a total bore, that totally makes him not as good looking to me.

    Independence is another one, I don't like guy's who are too clingy and call me every five minutes. We can both have our own lives =D That, and I like people with similar interests, that way conersations aren't that hard to strike up.

    He must be a Christian and have some sort of substantial intelligence. Preferably more. >>;; I like guys who can debate with me and wind up having fun, not hurting each other's feelings. I'd like it even more if he wins. xD
     
    Apart from 'what theme do you use?' and 'how old are you?', this is like... THE poll...

    I like smart people, really... @_@ Someone has to compensate for my ditziness; and also someone who is patient, and can handle my, er, slowness. I like nerdy, sarcastic people as well... x3; And also kindness. >.> Interesting mix, maybe?
     
    If I were seeking a relationship with someone, I would, first and foremost, want him to be funny. A big turn on for me is a guy who can make me laugh. XD I would also like it if he were more relaxed and just went with the flow~ I don't feel like dating a big ball of stress. @-@; All in all, I want him to enjoy life and just have fun. And, of course, enjoy being with me, regardless of what activities we do.

    I feel like mentioning it because...I just do. XD Looks are not my top priority, but having an attractive significant other is always a perk to the relationship. However, I believe that if one has a fun personality that appeals to me, then that person most likely becomes more physically attractive than they would have been if their personality was a pile of suckage. XD

    I generally look for girls who are cool, calm, and relaxed. She has to be able to take a joke and dish it right back. Someone who can speak eloquently, is family oriented, and doesn't take life too seriously. Hygiene is huge, I love a girl who smells good and keeps her skin silky smooth :D Also she has to be able to put up with my passion for sports, would be nice if she was into sports but its not that big of a deal. As long as she compensates that by bringing me my food and drinks while I sit on the couch screaming. hehe JK! I like a girl who enjoys watching scary/horror movies. Usually it makes her wanna get closer to you :)

    And most importantly she has to realize that my love for Pokemon is not a sickness and that young adults can still enjoy it too!!

    I would choose all of the above, even though the 'similar interests' doesn't concern me as much - I'd like to get to know new things from that person, and the person I like atm does completely different things froms me! :) Well, I would also like a girl that is helpful, innocent and unstressed (joyful). I'd also like the girl to have respect for my mother (and family; and vice versa), and would look for a girl who is outgoing, smart and talented...basically the perfect girl! :D Asian girls are my type, though some other girls do appear to me. In fact my crush atm is Caucasian. :classic: Really though, to me it all depends on the inside...

    well, trust is the MOST important for me. looks is also one, and personality. one timers is probably most annoying, (ive never gone out with anyone, so how do i know?)

    also, dont like really annoying girls, who smoke, or just try to be the best all the time. and also, i dont like too much jewellry on a girl, because it has the reverse effect on me. people like other people with jewellry on, where as i dont.
     
    what I mostly look for in a guy is ther personality and there talents. You can have a cute face and they are rude and doing things that you don't like, thats an example
