Vaporeon doesnt use its attack stat, it uses its special attack stat which you know is base 110, the same as Salamence which last time i checked was extremely good. So that is moot. Being ugly is also moot for not choosing it.

Also lol @ "its attacks are crap". Vaporeon has wide coverage with the special attacks it gets and an even better support movepool; Wish, Baton Pass, Heal Bell, Acid Armour, Roar are all fantastic so yeah. :/
