What's the traditional thing to watch where you live, during these holidays? :D

    Can be movies as well!

not necessarily on the day of christmas, but my family always gets together before the day to watch christmas vacation. we've been doing that since i was about...12? we gradually invite more people usually, esp if they haven't seen the movie bc watching their reactions is funny. when i lived w my mom, i liked to watch home alone on christmas eve morning before things got crazy w mom cleaning and cooking lol the Small moment of sanity... i'm going to watch that today while my partner cooks our dinner actually. haven't watch it yet this holiday season.

I usually watch Elf and various tv Christmas specials (the KND Christmas special, Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire, Kenan and Kel's Christmas).

We generally watch a Harry Potter movie, going to watch the Lakers tonight too!

Here we all watch a special Disney show that's been running on TV on xmas eve for deeeecades. It's tradition even if it's the same thing every year and we've all seen it plenty of times before.

There's also a Swedish celebrity chosen as the christmas host every year and they sit in a comfy armchair and light The Christmas Candle on screen and talk about life and everything to keep people company who might be lonely on this day. It's very sweet imo.

pretty much whatever's on TV. we ain't the type of family to have something to watch traditionally.

maybe i can start that when i have a family of my own tho. would be nice.
