How do I make up usernames? I google random french words in a desperate attempt to get a sexy username, then I ask Derk. :[

How do you guys feel about people changeing their usernames? I think that it is okay for people to change their usernames.

Reduncancy is redundant.

My current username is an obscure song lyric that sounds original. =]
As for changing usernames, I've done it myself, so I really can't be annoyed by usernames changes without being hypocritical.

A year later and I was like: "Sphericalice" looks bad. I'd found out that I could use spaces, so I requested a name change and here I am, using Spherical Ice (or Supremity) everywhere I go.

I am just wondering how do you guys make up your own usernames? Like did you always have it, do you just make up something random, or do you go to name generaters?

They just randomly come to mind.

It's their username. Why should I care if they change it? So long as it isn't a name I want... :>

One last thing, do you believe that sites that let you make your own usernames sould be more free like Pokemon Community? I mean like you get to have your own little characters and such. Or do you believe that special characters are a little bit too much? To tell you the truth I think that sites should say "You can (or can't) use any character for your usernames" because if I knew that then I would have done a little something extra, you know?

That has to do with the forum software, first of all, and I've never really been to a site that limits what you can use on your own username. It's your username after all. But take it up with the forum software developers for all that. 8|

My username evolved and became more creative nonsense over time. Ironically the original incarnation of this name was the result of ten-year-old me being too uncreative to come up with a cool username.

TMB-jr --> tmbjr_87 --> tmbjr --> Tmbjr_05 --> TiMiBiJiR --> Timbjerr

It was originally my three initials followed by jr (because I am, indeed, named after my father), but it evolved into a cool-looking nonsenical word. XD

I believe the original poster is talking about sites like YouTube that don't allow you to use tildes, spaces, etc. I wouldn't know anything about how all that works, and I assume OP probably doesn't either. 8|

Armoire: Well, my first username, "alipeewee" is kinda my default username for anything. It's kinda just a conracted version of my name but with random squeaks in it XD

"I Laugh at your Misfortune!" was the next one, and I can honestly say I have no idea where it came from. Seriously, I don't know where that phrase originates.

Both this username and the one before it (Screw the rules, I have green hair!) have been references to internet things I'm obsessed with at the time of naming.

Well like what I said eariler, some people do have hotdogs with people changing their usernames and I was just wondering if a lot of peolple felt like that. Which, it seems to me, that a lot of people don't care. *nods*

Actually I have been to sites where they wouldn't even let you use the underscore thing, and I didn't know there was such a thing called a "forum software", I just thought it was the sites.

Superficial Mycosis is basicly skin,hair or nail fungal infections.
I was using a username I'd had for years and when the place I used it most, and I myself, began to change it just didn't feel right anymore, so thats why I started looking for a different name. This one really came from my interesting in fungi, and from an OC I was working on at the time.
I used it and it just kinnda.. grew on me :> (lame joke, shh)

Drew was my original username, and well as my ONLY username until a few weeks ago. I was pretty into the Pokemon anime when I first joined here, and Drew is the English dub name of one of the characters. So.. yeah. I was feeling uncreative at the time.

'Break' is also the name of a character, but he's from Pandora Hearts.

Although I will admit that most people probably assume 'break' is some type of emo name. Lulz.

Glion is basically Gliscor's Japanese name, so no originality on my part here. :/
CyberGlion is an extended form of Glion. I thought of it after thinking of something to add one to it, and since I like the internet I thought adding Cyber would fit me a bit.

Next came Blazing Gliscor, which is pretty self-explanatory, but I got the name off of something that happened here and elsewhere..

My next (and very soon current) name, Yuukinoh, was from Snover/Abamasnow's Japanese name, but I unintentionally misspelled it. :/




I don't mind people changing their usernames, otherwise I'd sound like a hypocrite with the name changes I've had during my time here.
