Well, this could be a very controversial post, but I'm a man for equal opportunities and expressing one's opinion. So, I ask the question, cos I'm a curious kinda guy, what don't you like about PC?

I guess I may need a few rules for this post, since this can quickly get out of hand. First of all, let's not use this as an excuse to flame someone about their decision. If they don't like something, for whatever reason, just leave it at that, post what you don't like, and move on.

Second, this is a thread to post your opinion on what you don't like only. It's not for me or anyone else to go pursue a moderator later on and say something like 'this many people want this changed, etc'. It's meant as a bit of curiosity, nothing more.

I may update these if things start getting out of hand.

    Anyway, shall I start?

Well, there's not a lot I don't like about PC really. The lack of people here my age, but that's not anyone's fault.

And despite the amazing lack of spam on the rest of PC, I hate the 'Do you have a crush on anyone' thread. Not for the thread itself, I think the topic is fine. The thing I have a problem with is the large amount of filler on the thread itself, it very rarely stays on topic (and just seems to end up as a second Daily Chit-Chat thread).

    There, I've said it now.

    Right, who's next?

There's not really much I don't like about PC...some people's opinions on certain things sometimes bother me, that's about it..

I don't wanna sound like a *****, but I don't like when I make a thread, and I want it to be sort of "alive" but people never ever post in it, but when someone else makes a thread, they go and post in it...It's sorta not fair but I don't wanna make a big deal of it. I can always get over it anyways.

Gosh I hope this doesn't become a flame war...

I'm not a fan of the sporadic conflicts that go on around here, but besides that there's nothing to complain about. I'm content... *shrugs*

    Yay it's those essay-time again!

-"police crusaders" who hit the report button 20 times for an obvious double posting error that's not done on purpose (like 2 posts that are identical, and are posted seconds after another... obvious that's just accidentially hitting the button 2 times... why are you hitting report button 20 times?). If you're hitting the report post button, just hit it once... JUST ONCE.

-people who interpret rules word for word, ignoring context of the situation... rules are not made to restrict people, but attempts that try to prevent something from happening... don't try to enforce rules if you don't know what's the point of the rules. Don't hit the report button if you see a post with character bypassing yet is packed with content, because the point of the rule is to try to force contents into a post, not to restrict the amount of characters (this one is a bit rare but it happens sometimes)

-people who treat mods as Red Cross Volunteers:
We are by no way some government organization set to make your life sail smoothy, and are definitely not goverment police forces who sail around the internet catching anyone who's swearing on MSN or is insulting you via whatever internet media... we work within PC only, and even within PC we're so limited... we are not Gods so stop sending "blah blah blah is insulting me please ban him" crap mails

-don't argue without research please... or at least support yourself, and "What I said is right because I said so" is not a valid support... know the topic, then argue.

-don't act formal and official as if you're the avatar of justice (and if you do, at least check your grammar and spelling errors...). Ever since I joined the mod lounge, it seems that mods in there are just as confused as members are regarding some of the more controversial topics and rules, so how the heck do you know the solution/answer to the problem at hand, enough to act so official and say "you're suppose to do this and this and this!"

-no need to show your fangs and growl at the new member with 30 posts who accidentially triple posted... just let ONE member tell him/her once, and get on with it... there is absolutely no need for the mega-propaganda feeling of "dare to disobey the rules and our admins will shoot you down into the deepest deep of banville." If you see one member telling this new member that doing such a thing is wrong, move on... no need to repeat whatever's said already

-definition of SPAM: so what is SPAM?
    * stupid pointless annoying message
    * if the post has no meaning
    * if the post can be summed up to "I agree"
    * if the post can be summed up to "exactly whatever a previous poster has just said"
Please remember the 2nd and 3rd meaning of "SPAM"... I mean game forum just suck about this one. One member ask a question, and 10 members flock in for a post count fest posting the exact same answer (making 9 of those posts a repetition aka SPAM). If you do want to post in such a situation, post in some add-on notes, or explanations of why this is the right way to do things, or further details...

    *stops ranting*

I don't like when people re-make the same thread, over and over again.

Recently all these stupid threads have popped out, asking questions. What time do you wake up, how was your day, what did you do today, etc. What's next, how logn do you brush your teeth?

I don't like when people aren't original and follow trends, like the sex changes in the dare thread. Gosh, make up some different dares, please! I don't like how everybody obsesses over certain Pok?mon, just because everyone else likes it, or it's cute.

I don't like how certain members, who aren't staff try to boss other members around. This isn't school! I wish some of these rules weren't so strict.

Um, if I think of more, I'll post them.

    Some more:

I don't like when people make a thread, asking a question. Then it gets answered, but the thread keeps going strong, and going off-topic in the process.

Well said frostweaver. I didn't know admins have to deal with this junk. I know what you must feel.

The only thing I hate about PC is kinda similar to one thing frostweaver said. I hate it how people just have to say something. Whether it's to feel that he/she is contributing, or just to jack up that post count of theirs, I just hate it when I see a post with complete uselessness and nonsense and saying exactly the same thing that the last 8 posts had just said. I'd like to see less of it, and hope that when I read a post, it'll be worth while, notthe same thing. Wouldn't you hate to read Harry Potter 8 times in the same day? It's kinda like that for me. It has that "I'v just lived this a few seconds ago" feeling and kind of disturbing..

I dislike how several members seem to have grammar issues or use shorthand constantly. This is a forum where you can just sit down and think about each post, no need to rush and say "ur" and "jez". Though I can let LOL and IMO slip by.

I dislike how easily offended people are. This one person told me to "cut the crap" because I said "freakin'". Double yoo tee eff? Freakin' is NOT a bad word. Idiot. I don't like that certain words are edited out. I can understand the "f" word since it's the daddy of all cuss words and duragatory words like the other way to say female dog, but the "h" word should remain and the "d" word. And when there's a topic on, say, Pokemon reproduction, people will say "will a mod please close this?" when there's nothing bad going on. Why are you afraid of reproduction? You know where babies come from. People just think that all sex is bad when it really isn't.

Member of the Month itself is ok I guess, but I really dislike how many people vote. Like this one person who votes only this other one person for all categories. That's just stupid.

I guess that the only thing that has bothered me lately is the recent pop up of so many pointless threads. I won't name any of them, but honestly... I know that some of them are only being made to raise that person's post count. And I'm talking about some of the threads in Other Voting Polls. The ones in Other Chat that some people were mentioning don't bother me at all. Atleast they have a decent point, and the topic can atleast create some sort of discussion. I'm just wondering if the next pointless thread is going to be, 'How many times a day do you water your cactus?' I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

I love everything about PC, but I don't think this counts:

It's really, really, big!!! I can barely find my way, but anyway it's a great forum.

    What bothers me is
-SPAM, I see posts like "Yes, I agree" and "No!" or watever. It doesn't give that much infomation and you will end up being confused.
-People who abuse the reputation system...
-The Dare Thread, forces members to do things to do their dare when they don't want to. Noone is forced to do a silly thing like that on the internet... >_>
-Pointlessness of threads. I see threads that make absoultely no sense at all, which make them pointless and spam. =P
-People who post pointless things to raise their post count. There is one thing to remember, quality counts!

    Thats it for now. ^_^

    Right On Kay-Kay and Nick!

Could this be the endless hellhole of PC Pointless Threads? Stay Tuned

    Same with me...
And also I have one more that I don`t wanna say..
But then again,I like everything else!

I don't like to say this Mudkip84, but most of the threads you make are spammy. Maybe iot's because of your age, or something, but please don't take offence. Don't wory, most new members are like that.

Dizzy, I think the reason most people don't reply to your threads is because, nobody knows what you are talking about sometimes. I know I don't. Like with your Fanfic about cotinents or countries, I didn't know wtf you were talking about. And sometimes you do techno, but I don't think most people are as into techno as you are. And fashion. Again, no offence, just trying to tell the truth.

Here's my list of things that bother me:
    1. PIKA2
    2. SPAM
    3. PIKA2
    4. Pointless Threads
    5. Flame Wars
    6. People breaking the rules.
    7. PIKA2
    8. postn leik dis on purpos liek ur in a rush
    9. PIKA2
    10. ROM hackers that want other people to hack for them.
    11. Cursing, in some creative way.
    12. PIKA2

    *Note: Numbers 1, 3, 7, 9, 12 are fake. XD

I don?t like how most people don?t read?anything. Rules, other posts, anything. That?s what causes the great drought of good discussion and some rulebreakers. Somewhat with complacence to this topic is the fact I don?t like that a lot of people don?t realize how good it actually is. It can and has been a lot worse than it is now.

i don't like how all the immages are broken... but only on my computer... there's no banner, no smilies, no buttons... they're just dead immages with little red Xs. and i don't like how people who aren't authorities tell people off.

I don't like how people always say, "If this is SPAM feel free to close this" to staff. Um, they are allowed to close it if they please, so no use giving "permission". Hmm, sad to say, I'm guilty of doing it, heh.
