Earl was grateful as they landed, but Leonidas seemed to be disappointed. He was hoping it would be a bit longer before they landed as Earl handed John Aquanis' and Tempest's Pokeballs.
"Well, be glad that we are on the French Quarter," said Earl as he looked around, looking for his street. Within a few seconds, he found Rampart Street and motioned for John to follow him. Leonidas, as if on cue, jumped up on Earl's right shoulder and started bobbing his head to the various jazz music coming from, well, EVERYWHERE! He then dusted his small hat off and Earl's figuring he should be nice.
Within seconds, Earl found his home... A Victorian era mansion surrounded by a wrought-iron fence and gate. Taking out a key from his pocket, Earl unlocked the gate and motioned for John to get in. After that was done, Earl closed the gate, locked it, and ran to the door, knocking it a few times before opening it.
"Momma! Pops! I need some assistance!" shouted Earl throughout the mansion. Within seconds, an old man in his early sixties came downstairs dressed in a robe that one could usually see Hugh Hefner. The man's hair, however, was not gray like other elders. It was actually white, which paired well with his lightly-tanned skin and blue eyes.
"My boy, what happens to be the trouble? Who's your friend?"
"Well, my friend believes he has a broken hand, plus there's some other things we should discuss. John, this is Pops, my grandfather. He was once a doctor, so you can trust him. Pops, John's a bit rough around the edges, but if you want to put him in his place, just call him Honky."
Pops got a laugh out of that as he motioned for John to come closer as he sat down.
"Alright Mr. John, let me see the damage," said Pops, who made it obvious where Earl got his unique accent from.
