When Earl did what he did, he truthfully didn't expect Israel to do anything. He was expecting Israel to cower away. However, he did do what he wanted him to do. Israel manned up and took Earl to the ground. Still though, when he began kicking Earl, Earl had to admit, he was ready to beat Israel's head in, until Yasumi stepped in and helped Earl up.

"Yasumi, I know I hate him, but I can't stop you from loving him. Anyways, John, I agree with you. You won because you were stronger. Israel was weaker, and if I have anything to say about it, I will personally make sure that Israel is always weaker than you," said Earl as he nodded at Shadia, smiling at her briefly. Leonidas at this point had decided he wouldn't need to get in between Earl and Israel... It looked as if it was still going to get even uglier.

"I didn't expect that technique kid... Be lucky that I expected you to be a coward. Next time, I won't make that mistake."

Earl, who's old wound from the Man in Black suddenly began bleeding again, nodded at John and Leonidas. He was ready to go now, becoming even angrier that his bottom lip was busted again. Other than that, it seemed Israel didn't do that much damage...

"Cracker, I'm gonna keep my end of the deal. If you fail, I will do it, I will fulfill my end. You better fulfill yours."

With that, Earl picked up his hat, which was still on he ground, and began walking away. Leonidas quietly turned to Israel, flipped him off, and then followed Earl away.

"C'mon Honk! Let's get you stronger so that you can destroy the pathetic little salope and his Pokemon later!" shouted Earl to John, becoming even more pissed by the second.

"Piss off! I do what I want! And if you want to make excuses, go right ahead. It does nothing but prove me right. And my strategy was clearly better. After all, who won that battle. Me! And think about why that is for a moment. Is it because my pokemon are stronger? No, our pokemon were pretty even. So what does that leave... If you can't keep your focus on the battle, then someone has to. Think about that before you whine and complain about losing because you got distracted. And Yasumi, this isn't even your fight! If you want to be usefull, go teach Israel how to teach his pokemon to think for themselves, while still listening to commands, because he is clearly incapable of doing it! Next time we fight, I want a real challenge, not some loud mouthed punk that can't back up his talk!" John said angrily. That was it. He had given them one of the secrets of his training. Israel's pokemon were lost without his direction. They looked up to him, which was good. But what would happen if he were knocked out? Or hurt so bad he couldn't tell them what to do? Pokemon were able to process things, so they could be taught to use strategies on there own. They had to learn to judge when a situation called for immediate action and when it called for listening to instructions. Neither one alone would work. To many commands, and you got dumb wrecks that needed a trainer to tell them to use the bathroom before they would go. Like the pokemon Israel had. Too few, and they wouldn't listen to you at all. It was all about finding that happy medium. If Israel couldn't grasp that, then what was he doing out here? He would just get killed. And despite all the talk, John didn't want that. Israel was the best challenge he'd eveer gotten. And with time, the two of them would push each other until they reached Tydus's level. And of course, John would still emerge the winner. He was just, a cut above Israel. But it would be a long time before that would happen. For now, John just had to keep winning. Keep proving he was better.

"I'll be right there Earl! And I haven't forgotten our agreement!" John shouted before turning back to Israel and Yasumi. He was going to stay here until he got an answer out of them.

Yasumi pulled out a Pokeball and sent out her Hydreigon and said, "come on Israel we need to get your Pokemon healed and find me a cure." "Yes.... yes we do" said Israel getting on Hydreigon's back, "and John" he said, "you may be an idiot but you're a good battle, I hope we get to battle again." The Hydreigon flew into the air and headed for the Pokemon center, "did that Crocanaw just flip me off?" Israel asked.

"How am I an idiot if I'm right?" John wondered aloud as they flew off. He knew they would battle again. How much stronger would Israel be? The thought made him happy, and a little angry. Why was his greatest rival some loud mouthed arrogant punk! Oh, wait, because John himself was loud mouthed and arrogant. But he could back it up.
"Hey Honky! Hurry it up!" Shadia/Shadow said. John shrugged and walked over to Earl.
"Alright. Where's that big book of moves. I need to teach Cinder a new move. And Shadow too. Fake Tears won't work again," John said. Shadow nodded as she reverted to her normal form.
"Earl, I don't care what you want, but if you help me, I will do everything in my power to get it to you. I have to stay one step ahead of him. That's the only way I'll ever get strong enough to kill Tydus and end all this," John said seriously, not caring if Earl noticed that he was after Tydus's blood. John didn't pretend it was some noble quest to save the world. He didn't give a **** about the world Tydus was trying to destroy. All he was after was his own personal revenge. If he saved the world because of that, then that was fine with him.

"John, you can use the book as much as you want. I just ask that you help me train my Pokemon so that I can catch up to Israel. You're not the only one who wants to be better than that salope," said Earl as he continued looking on ahead. He was still pissed, but he was still thinking clearly.

"Oh, and this Tydus fellow, save some for me. Yasumi shall be avenged," said Earl stopping when he saw a PokeMart not too far away.

"I need to get some more Pokeballs. I caught a new Pokemon during your battle with Marty."

"Alright. Go get some pokeballs. I'll be at the top of that hill up there. Come see me when you're ready," John said. He turned and walked away. He headed for the closest pokemon center to get his team healed. He swapped a pokemon out and flew on Tempest to the top of the hill.
"What are you going to do?" Shadow asked when they touched down.
"Nothing. He's going to do it," John said simply. He wondered if Earl's pokemon could handle this. He wondered if Earl could handle this. Not if he was angry he couldn't. John leaned back against a tree and waited for Earl to show up.

"Your Pokemon are back to full health please come again" said the Nurse at the Pokemon center as she gave Israel back his Pokemon. "Thank you ma'm" said Israel, Israel then walked over to Yasumi who was reading a book entitled Living Legends. "Anything yet?" asked Israel. "Maybe" she said, "If your Alakazam could postpone the process of the cell merger, a powerful legendary Psychic type should be able to stop it completely." "That's great news" said Israel, "which one do you have in mind?" "Mewtwo" said Yasumi. "WHAT!!!!" said Israel. "Think about it Mewtwo is under the control of the Gentleman, and the Gentleman is after you, if you're able to beat Mewtwo you can take it from him and use it to cure me" she said. Israel stopped and thought about it, "yeah that might work but how do we draw the Gentleman out?" asked Israel. "We just carry on like we normally would" said Yasumi. "So, I guess were off to Wachulla's Safari Zone so I can catch Pokemon to fight my hometown of Myrtle Beaches Gym Leader" said Israel excited. "I guess" said Yasumi smiling.

Earl came out of the PokeMart freshly stocked on everything he needed. He even had gotten some extra Super Potions. Nonetheless, he saw John on the hill and walked to him, clutching the suitcase full of supplies, a jacket, and Earl's four other Pokemon. Leonidas was still out of his Pokeball as he climbed the hill. He was ready for whatever was next.

"Honky, what next?" asked Earl as he got to John, still pissed at what had transpired.

"Nothing," John said. He could see Earl start to seeth at him as he paused for dramatic effect.
"Nothing until you calm down. You can't train pokemon until you train yourself. Otherwise, you've already lost. A battle is about more than which pokemon is stronger and smarter. A skilled trainer can get into the mind of his opponent. That's the real reason I won today. Israel is to easy to read. He doesn't have enough control over himself, and I cracked him like an egg. So, calm down before anything else happens," John said, not moving from where he was lounging on the ground. He would wait as long as neccesary. And then, he would start trying to provoke Earl. If he couldn't keep his cool with his friend, how was he going to keep it with an enemy? Especially one as skilled as Israel. Israel was just as good at mind games as John was. The only difference was that Israel didn't really know how to keep his cool and John pushed him until he finally snapped and started making mistakes. He had come so close to making John snap, and theat would have turned the tables on the whole battle. John was going to do that here. He was going to push Earl to the limit, just for the sake of pushing him. John really did enjoy the effect he had on people. Nearly every word he said was honed in a way to get the maximum emotion from a person. But not right now. Now, he spoke honestly and truly. The steel would come later.

Shadow looked bored. She was laying well away from the two. She had been told what was about to happen. She personally thought Johnny was an idiot for doing this, but he had insisted. She wondered if he liked being hit. Some humans were like that. But he had said that if you haven't been pushed past your limits, you won't know how to protect yourself from being pushed. She shrugged. He knew what he was talking about. He had made Israel mad, and he messed up quite a few times in the battle. He had made up for it rather fast, but the damage had been done. Humans played an odd game. Shadow didn't understand it at all. But, she knew John did, and if he said this was how it worked, then that was how it worked.

Israel and Yasumi were on the plane headed to Florida and Israel had some questions for Yasumi. "So let me ask you this" said Israel, "How do you know the Gringo?" "We were penpals back when I was five" said Yasumi, "he had his troubles I had mine and we shared them." "How close were you?" asked Israel. "How close could we have been we were nations apart" said Yasumi. "Look, you can tell me" said Israel. Yasumi gave him a glare, "look I'm like you I had no one before you so stop acting like a woman already." "All right geez" Israel said, "It must be her time of the month" Israel thought. Israel then started a conversation on something they both wanted to talk about, battle. "Yasumi, I've been wondering what did I do wrong with John today?" he said, he really wanted to know, his strategy had been flawless. "I have some ideas" said Yasumi.

Earl stared at John for a long time, not doing anything. Leonidas had already walked over to Shadow, nodding as he sat down next to her.

"Croconaw Cro Croconaw (Translation: Humans are confusing.)," said Leonidas as he stared out at nothing, deciding he wasn't going to get in between Earl and John. Earl was tense and angry, and Leonidas had a feeling Earl was close to snapping.

"Calm down? Okay then, how about you have the one girl you love tell you that she is in love with someone else? How about you take that same girl to the hospital, wondering if she is going to make it, because some idiot failed to do his job?" asked Earl, his rage rising by the second. He didn't have time for this. He just wanted to be able to destroy Israel.

John sighed. This was going to take a lot longer than he thought. He glanced at Shadow. She stood up.
"C'mon, let's go over here while they talk," she said before bounding away. John stayed right where he was sitting.
"I get the feeling you weren't listening. If you are mad like this, then it would be very easy for you to lose your cool. Then you would make a mistake. What good are you if you can't focus? You asked for my help, so you better listen. Training while angry doesn't serve any purpose at all. We can get to the training after you've done what I told you to do! Or would you prefer to stay weak and not be able to protect Yasumi? So calm down, breath deep breaths, and focus. Focus on your pokemon. What skills they have, how strong they are, and how strong they will be when you're done," John said. He knew Earl was close to snapping. That was good and bad. When Earl snapped, it would likely be on John. But once he recovered, he would have a little more self control, which John would push to the limits again. He would do this until Earl wore himself out. And if John knew Earl like he thought he did, it would be a long time before they got to training pokemon.

Kitten did a double take looking towards the tv screen as she tried to remember the two. After afew moments it suddenly clicked in her mind where she had seen those two.

"Oh Silver! Remember we met them when that rather odd trainer.. Umm Jackalo I think was trying to trade his Swinub?" She turned to look at her companion. "Man we have to get you healed fast if you're going to catch up to them!" The small girl grinned wickidly as she started to bounce up and down like a small child on candy. "Come on! The sooner your leg gets better the sooner you can mop the floor with those two and become champion!"

The raven haired girl turned on her heel and started to sprint down the street to the pokecenter stopping afew shops down to look back at Silver, a wide grin plastered on her pale face.

(Sorry for my recent absenses, having satelite internet during a snowstorm is not the greatest thing to have in the world)

(Ooc: It's okay, Cookie. At least now I can post. I hope you don't have more trouble with the snowstorm.)

Silver only smirked at Kitten's response as she acted like a little child. She was right about one thing though, he needed to catch up, & to do that he needed his leg healed fast.

"Nurse, I need my leg healed & my Pokemon healed to?" He asked the lady. He grabbed Furball from Kitten & handed her to the nurse as well as his Pokeballs. "How long will it be to heal my leg?"

(Ooc: I don't know how nurses are here so can you take over for nurses for me Cookie?)

John sighed. This was going to take a lot longer than he thought. He glanced at Shadow. She stood up.

"Lose my cool? LOSE MY FREAKIN' COOL?! I LOST IT A LONG TIME AGO!" shouted Earl as swung for John. He didn't care what happened, as long as he got to see red. Meanwhile, Leonidas had followed Shadow over to the side, but he still kept an eye on Earl and John. Whatever happened, he decided he didn't need to be a part of it. Let the humans sort out their problems.

"Cro Croconaw Naw Croc (Translation: I'm worried for Earl)," said Leonidas as he lied on the ground, but not before taking his hat off. Deciding he should play, he placed the large hat on Shadow.

"Croc Naw Co Cro (Translation: Looks good on you)," said Leonida, laughing softly, but he once again turned to Earl... He needed to get his anger out of his system. Once it was out, Earl would once again be his normal self and be ready to do the hardest training he has ever done in his life. Leonidas was prepared for it, but was everyone else? He was sure they were.

Just then, Leonidas saw Earl's suitcase. Deciding it was time for everyone to meet Mary, he opened it, and then he opened the Pokeballs inside, revealing Judas, Brutus, Joan, and Mary. Mary the Gible looked at the group silently before turning to Leonidas and trying to attack him. Leonidas simply placed his hand out, stopping the Gible.

"CROC! (Translation: STOP!)" shouted Leonidas as firm as possible. Mary did as she was told, but she didn't like it. Hey, what do you expect for a creature that lived under a rock ever since she was born? Joan began grooming herself almost immediately while Judas and Brutus stared at Leonidas, not believing it was him. Leonidas then pointed at Earl and John. Brutus, upon seeing Earl, decided to go help him, but Leonidas grabbed him and shook his head. This was Earl's fight, and only his fight. No one else needed to interrupt it. Judas just watched, but he also began feeding off of the negative emotion. Hey, Pokemon gotta eat.

(Thanks Shiny)

Kitten sat on the couch again letting her pokemon out petting the three on the head with a grin, taking out some food from her pack she set the berries down for the two dark types and the fire type.

"Eat up guys, Silvers just gonna get patched up. Then we hit the mountains... There we can train.." Her voice trailed off as she thought.

The nurse nodded calling Chansey over, smiling at Silver as she took his pokeballs.

"Oh, it should only just be afew moments. Chansey, use soft boiled please?" The woman asked her pokemon kindly.

"Chansey CHAN!" The pink pokemon replied as it took the egg from it's pouch using soft boiled on Silvers leg as the nurse went to tend to his pokemon.

Silver started to feel his leg getting better right away from Chansey's Soft Boiled egg. He felt good as new. He stood up, & no pain came about. "Wow! Thanks a bunch!" He thanked the nurse, who gave him back his Pokemon when they were healed.

He took out Sky & walked over to Kitten. "So, can we get a move o-" He then noticed Absol. "Uh...c-can you put him back in his Heal Ball?" He whispered to Kitten, not wanting to ride him by surprise.

The absol tilted his head at Silver before eating his berry again with a smirk, this human was very funny to say the least in his opinion. The disaster pokemon layed down his tail flicking every so often as his eyes looked around the pokecenter.

"Hmm?" Kitten broke from her little trance as she looked up to see Silver. "Oh.. Silve, you're better..." She smiled standing up as she returned Cookie to her pokeball sitting on Dooms back. "Sure.." She said, obvious her mind was else where as she returned the dark type.

(OOC: Welcome back Cookie!)

"Hehehe! Thanks!" Shadow said when Leonidas put his har on her. Of course, it was way too big and fell over her face. She turned into a Croconaw and straightened the hat on her head. she giggled again.

John cooly stepped aside and returned a punch of his own.
"Hah! You think you know everything. Is this how you're going to protect Yasumi? Because as a trainer you certainly aren't up to the task! Maybe she's better off with Israel. At least he knows how to throw a punch!" John mocked as he kicked at Earl. John smiled grimly. This was not going to end well, but he needed to get his aggression out somehow. The two of them continued fighting, and Cinder took off from where he was resting on a building nearby.

(OOC: You can go ahead and have Earl deck John. I've got a plan for this.)

"And what would those be?" asked Israel. "Well for starters John was right about your Pokemon being clueless without you" said Yasumi, "they need to learn to fight without the use of commands, they're getting there but they have a long way to go." "Alright" said Israel, "what else?" "You don't have enough Pokemon" she said, "the thing about that battle was that John had options on which Pokemon he wanted to use before hand because he had more than six Pokemon, you only had a set team." This was very good advice that Israel was getting, Israel knew that Yasumi knew her stuff too, ever since her father had died she had done nonstop training and studying so she could beat Mordecai. "I guess I'll catch a bundle of Pokemon at the Safari Zone" said Israel. "There's one Pokemon in particular that I'd like you to catch" said Yasumi. "And what would that be?" asked Israel. "Deino" she said, "I know how to use Dragon Pokemon to their full potential." Israel smiled, the next time he faced John he would win.
