Shea

Shea had been watching ever since the battle started, studying both of them intently - and thus, formulating a clever strategy.

Shea was all about brains, and with his reflexes and thought process, he could help a low level beat an upper class. He was intelligent, observant, and, like a Card Counter, quick to formulate a plan based on what he saw.

Shea looked to the side for a moment and noticed another boy. He seemed about John's age, perhaps. Who this was, he didn't know - maybe John did - but he'd be glad to meet him.

Vega

A man wearing a pitch black suit was watching the events unfold between the three team leaders speak. His own leader, wearing all black just as he did, seemed enraged at the sight of them. They spoke of Jirachi. Who knows what will result in this legend... He would have to wait.

Vega was standing in plain view, but in the shadows, thus concealed by his method of dress. Only MiB knew he was there. His real name, "Babylon", had become a code word amongst Legion, with only MiB knowing it was actually Vega's name. All MiB had to do was fit his name into a sentence, and he would have both leaders down in seconds, under the weight of Chill and Stone, with Vladimir as the executioner.

A sound passed through his skull. It sounded like a demonic laughter. Finality was messing with his head from her Pokeball, just for kicks. He thought a command and the laughing stopped.

No doubt, the Alliance and Plasma had their own assassins, but Vega was the most skilled and powerful.

Israel was enjoying the battle when something caught his eye. Was that a Shaymin?

Israel looked and sure enough there was a Shaymin at the feet of a boy. The boy had green hair, usually a sign of a first class douche but he had a Shaymin.

Israel feared social situations but curiosity overcame that fear and Israel walked over to the boy.

"Hello.... My name is Israel and I couldn't help but notice that you have a Shaymin. Where did you get it and what level is it?" said Israel.

Israel was trying to figure out if the boy was worth recruiting on his team to fight Mordecai.

"Oh, salve, I'm Shea. Yeah, he's my Shaymin. He's called Mynh, if you get the pun. He's level 10, and I just found his egg on my doorstep one day when I was a bit younger." A lot of people were curious about Mynh, and he'd intended to show the adorable little guy off, but this attention felt slightly negative compared to what he wanted. He pushed that thought to the side and Mynh jumped onto his lap and smiled at the newcomer, Israel. I like your name, he said telepathically to Israel.

"Thank you very much, I like yours too," said Israel to the little Shaymin smiling a little. Israel was intrigued by what Shea had said, he found the Shaymin on his doorstep as an egg.

Israel had heard that sometimes legendary Pokemon choose humans to complete some purpose. If that was the case then he would HAVE to recruit Shea.

"And according to my Alakazam's psychic readings Mynh already knows Seed Flare? You must be a good trainer, so I have a favor to ask you." said Israel.

"Wait - you know Seed Flare?" Shea asked Mynh, surprised. Mynh shrugged his Shaymin shrug and nodded. I don't know how I did it, other than that I did what Shaymin does best, but that's hard to do when there's no toxins or grime. I kinda focused REALLY hard and had Zephyr use Toxic on me, Mynh explained. "Well, my little friend," Shea began laying back slightly, "You are one smart little guy." Mynh smiled and jumped onto Shea's head.

"Anyway, what is it that you needed to ask me?" he asked. And upon hearing his compliment about him being a good trainer, he shrugged. "I let him loose for a moment at level 6 and he learns a level 100 move, I guess. Kinda weird."

"The reason I came here was to get back up. You see, a madman named Mordecai is about to get his hands on a very powerful Pokemon." said Israel

"The Pokemon's name is Jirachi, it's a legendary Pokemon that has the power to grant wishes." Israel explained further.

"Mordecai's wish is for a solution to what he calls the human problem. Basically he believes that mankind is a blight on the earth, and that Pokemon are their replacements. He wants me to try and stop him, but I know it's a trap. Basically I came here to get the hick and the afterbirths help." said Israel pointing to Earl and John.

"But, I have a feeling that you and Mynh will be a great help as well," Israel continued "So I'm asking you, will you help me take down this psychopath?" said Israel with a tone of seriousness.

Shea looked at Israel for a moment before Mynh pulled on his hair. "OUCH!! Gah... Mynh!" Mynh just smiled cheekily. Listen to Israel! he said. Shea turned his attention back to Israel and nodded, causing Mynh to tumble into his lap. "I'll do it," he began. "I don't think I can help that much, but maybe Mynh could play a big part. I might even get a wish or two!"

On that, he immediately knew what he'd wish for.

One Gracidea Flower.

(OOC: yeah Seph is way up in the north so apparently its not the same forest.)

Seph and Ayon kept moving at a slow pace. They remained vigilant of their surroundings refusing to let the slightest detail go by. Suddenly Seph heard a cracking sound behind him. He turned slowly to see an Ursaring that had just broken a branch off one of the trees. The Ursaring was obviously what had been tailing them.

"Run" Seph barely managed.

Seph and Ayon broke into an instant sprint as the Ursaring barreled after them. Sweat poured down Seph's face as he dashed around the trees trying to loss the large bear pokemon in the thick forest. Ayon kept up alongside Seph, and on an impulse tugged his trainer onto his back.

"Absooyal!" Ayon laughed mocking the Ursaring.

"UR! Ursa sa saring!!!" the Ursaring roared back.

Ayon suddenly used faint and attack and both he and Seph vanished.

"Good to hear it Shea, and don't underestimate yourself. You might be a bigger help than you think." said Israel. Israel then realized something, if he won he could get a wish granted.

Israel didn't know what to wish for. He wanted to achieve his dream of becoming champion legitimately, and he was already going to marry Yasumi.

He could wish for world peace, and a cure for all disease and hunger but that was probably impossible. If Jirachi had the power to get rid of all of those problems it wouldn't have to slumber for a thousand years.

Israel then realized what he would do. If Israel got his wish, his mother and father would come back from the dead.

Israel smiled and then turned back to the battle. "So who's your money on? The hick or the abuse victim?" Israel asked Shea.

Shea shrugged. "I don't know either of them, or their teams, so I'm stuck. John's supposed to train me and my team of three. You should meet my other two. I've got a Zorua and a Mightyena." Shea smiled confidently at his team. "But I need to focus on Mynh. He's the weakest of the three, and we've got plans. Y'know..."

He kind of drifted off for a moment, neglecting the actual conversation. "Most people who become Trainers want to... beat the League Tournament. Become the Champion, yeah? Well... I just want to... Y'know, fulfill Shaymin's Wish. Shaymin is the Gratitude Pokemon. So, what I want to do with the power I get from the League, is... I want to make people grateful for their lives, even if they have o be grateful to me. I want to make the world a better place, especially for Shaymin."

His dream of saving the world was far-fetched, but ambitious. It's sort of like a Super-Hero dream for normal people. "Sounds lame, doesn't it?" he asked Israel.

"Lame? Hardly, making the world a better place is always a good goal. The question is how are you going to do it? The problem with this planet is human nature. No matter how hard humanity tries to better itself there's always going to be the thieves and murderers. My question is how are you going to fix that problem by getting stronger? The madman that I told you about has a solution, kill all humans. My solution is to fight this evil until my savior returns to judge the wicked, but what is your solution to the human problem?" replied Israel.

Israel was very interested in Shea's answer. He wanted to know why the legendary Pokemon had picked him.

"In that sense," Shea began, "we are alike... I believe that we should fight the evil. We shouldn't take it like we do; we need to fight back, but show the mercy that they lack, to spare their lives. I believe that sometimes, violence is the only answer. If only for one of the people."

Shea nodded and so did Mynh. "I need to fight back on the behalf of the weak. Some people are just unable to defend themselves. I want that to be the point where I come in."

Saber paused for a moment looking back at the eevee on his back shaking his head 'no'. He didn't really like training with others, he preferred to train in solitude where he could lash out full power with out hurting someone else.. A memory came back to the absol as he left out a soft 'sol' before padding slightly faster.

Kitten smiled as she watched Silver nodding. "Yeah he did, umm Silver? Would you mind if I parted with you at the end of the cave to get some training in? We can meet back up at the pokecenter.." She suggested rubbing her neck before pulling her hair out of it's messy pony tail.

Sky was a bit disappointed, but accepted Saber's wish as he hopped off & went to Silver's side. Saber obviously didn't want to train with him anyway.

"What?" Silver was confused by Kitten's question. Why would she want to part here? She must have her reasons, so there's no complaining. "Alright, we can meet up later. So, I'll see you later then." Looks like it's a good bye for now. He waved at Kitten & walked off to the Pokemon Center with Sky & Furball.

Kitten nodded as she got on Saber's back talking to him quietly before the dark type pokemon let out a grunt in response bounding off, making almost no sound but the silent 'fsssshhhh' of wind as he darted to the outskirts of the city.

Saber let out a soft breath as he slowed to a stop near a lake (I don't know what Baltimore is other then it's a place so don't kill me ;.;) looking about at everything before letting Kitten off his back.

"Good boy Saber~" Kitten praised, giving the absol lots of pets before calling out Doom and Cookie to train.

Israel liked the answer but still had a question, "Shea, do you have it in you to kill someone?"

"I'm asking this because you said that we should show the murderers the mercy they lack. But what about justice? Justice is repaying every action with and equal consequence." said Israel.

"And then there is the choice that you may have to face when fighting the evil of this world. That choice is whether to kill one man to save innocent lives. I for one don't have a problem with killing a murderer if our justice system won't do it. And I definitely don't mind killing a man to save others. However it seems that you do, and if that's the case you're at a disadvantage." Israel continued.

Israel admired Shea's dream to save the world but was worried that he maybe a little naive.

There is a time for war, and war requires killing.

Silver entered the Pokemon Center, seeing some people inside, the nurse, &...people with cameras? Meh, it didn't bother Silver. He put Sky & Furball back in their Pokeballs & walked up to the nurse.

Silver isn't one to be rude so he let the nurse speak. "Hello, welcome to the Pokemon Center. We heal all your Pokemon to their fullest. Would you like to heal your Pokemon?"

"Yes please." Silver answered nicely as he gave his Pokemon to the nurse, who went to heal them.

(Ooc: Anybody feel free to bunny the TV crew. I wouldn't know how to bunny them anyway. Aspie or Nideous can do this please. :) )

The interviewer named Mary had waited for a trainer to come in. John and Israel had become a national sensation with their rivalry.

Mary had decided to keep the ball rolling and make a star out of the next trainer that walked into the pokemon center.

The kid that had just walked in looked almost John's age and marketable, so Mary walked up to him.

"Hello young man my name is Mary and i'd like to ask you a few questions. First I need you to sign this release," she said handing the release to Silver.

Mary is about 5'4 has long dark hair and is easy on the eyes which was probably a big help in her getting hired by the news station.

Shea gave a gasp in realization. "You have a point... Heh... I guess I need to rethink my strategy. Si vis pacem para bellum, I suppose." Shea sighed and Mynh jumped up and headbutted him in the face.

"OW!! Hey, what?" You realize that killing's wrong, right!? "Yeah, but would you let thousands die just to spare a single murderer?" Well, leave me out of it! I don't want that blood on my paws! Shea gasped again. His best friend didn't support him... "But... Mynh..."

While Silver's Pokemon were being healed, a lady came by quickly, surprising Silver & almost giving him a heart attack. "Hello young man my name is Mary and I'd like to ask you a few questions. First I need you to sign this release." She handed Silver the paper he had to sign.

'A few questions? I don't get this, but I might as well pass the time while my Pokemon are being healed.' Silver thought for a moment, thinking if he should sign the release for Mary or not. It wouldn't hurt to try, right?

"Ok." He finally said as he took the release & pen, signed & handed it back. Whatever the questions, it's like being on one of those reality shows! His head cooled off, his chest relaxed, & he spoke. "Ok, spill out the questions." Being the nice person he is, he won't be saying anything rude, especially to a young lady like Mary.
