"S-silver! W-w-where are you?? I-if you're hidding this isn't funny!" That voice was Kitten's voice, frightened too.

"Kitten? If you can hear me, follow the sound of my voi- GAH!!" Silver couldn't finish his sentence due to bumping into a wall just now. Well that hurt. Moving around wasn't gonna be easy. He decided to put all his Pokemon into their Pokeballs seeing as it was to foggy here. Good thing they were close by.

Now all he had to do was find Kitten. "Kitten! Kitten!"

Kitten let Doom go returning him to his pokeball as she heard Silver. A shudder ran down her spine again as something.. Cold passed through her. Looking about Kitten made her way to where she had heard Silvers voice coming from.

"Kitten! Kitten over here!" She thought she heard Silver call, so she turned and walked towards the noise.

"Silver?" Kitten asked as she reached her hand out to see if she could feel her way around. After afew more steps Kitten's fingures felt something like clothing and skin. "Oh Silver there you are!" With a sigh of reliefe Kitten hugged 'Silver'

Silver got frightened for a minute when he felt something grab hold of him, until he realized it was Kitten, hugging him. Well they managed to find each other.

"Just follow me." Silver grabbed hold of Kitten's hand & led the way to the top.

He had to have his other hand in front of him so he wouldn't bump into another wall. It kept getting foggier & foggier...until you couldn't see light itself.

"I don't think anyone said anything about me being a fan of anyone," said Earl as he walked to John, rather amused. "I just said I recognized you from the TV. Plus, I thought I would be nice and compliment you, but it seems what you lack in manners you ALSO lack in personality."

At this, Earl quietly laughed to himself as Leonidas laughed as well. "The only thing I think is remarkable about you good sir is the fact that you train your Pokemon well. I myself just started not too long ago, which is why my Pokemon are, as you classified, weak. However, despite that weakness as you say, my Pokemon will become better over time..."

(OOC: Just so you lot know, I haven't forgotten about the HA. I was just giving them time to recover after John's breakout. But they will show up again soon. Very soon.)

John walked along. This fool was following him. So not what he needed! Shadow looked at Earl with glassy, unfocused eyes.
"Does this mean you don't like me?" she asked, still sounding a little messed up. John considered returning her to her pokeball. That would not solve the problem. She would come out the same way she went in. Being wasted wasn't a status ailment so she wouldn't recover at the pokemon center either. But, this fool was trying John's nerves. He was mocking John, and he had the nerve to smile while doing it!
"I really don't care what you think of me! And I'm glad you see your pokemon are weak. So, what do you plan to do about it?" John said coldly. He turned around and looked at Earl. He wondered what his answer would be.

"Oh don't you worry," began Earl as he took on a look of seriousness. "My Pokemon WILL become the strongest Pokemon they can be and then some, and when that is the case, don't be surprised when you see me asking for a battle with Leonidas here as a full grown Feraligatr."

Earl then took on a look of complete neutrality as he smiled at the Zorua. "Shadow wasn't it? Don't worry, I like you just fine. It's just your trainer needs to learn some manners," said Earl as he scratched behind Shadow's left ear.

(OOC: Shadow is in John's arms, not walking on the ground. She's not fit to walk right now :3)

"Hmm... Good answer. If you aren't willing to work and make yourself stronger, then you aren't worth anything at all. But, there is only room for one at the top, and it's going to be me!" John said, his respect for the guy going up a little. Shadow grinned happily as he scratched her head. She giggled a little.
"Shadow is a boy's name! Hehehe! I have an idea! Why don't you two battle now! I bet you'd do pretty well!" she said, slurring a little.
"Just go to sleep Shadow. And we've been over this, but you decided to keep that name. I was going to call you something else. And why would I battle him? I've got no reason to, unless I decide I need to humiliate him. And so far, I don't feel like doing that," John said.

((OOC: *reads past post* WHOOPS! My bad. Allow me to edit that later...))

"I would deny the request anyways. I maybe wanting to be the best, but I'm not stupid. I know when I can be outmatched," says Earl as Leonidas suddenly jumped up, landing on Earl's left shoulder. He then sat there and stared at the Zorua before tilting his head. He had never seen one before... She was also kinda cute, but he didn't want to admit that out loud.

"Totodile diledile!" said Leonidas as he pointed at John. Earl once again laughed. "I agree with you Leonidas, but please watch your language. Anyways... I have to ask, would you be happening to want a place to stay tonight? It is not my nature to not be hospitable, plus I have plenty of money for your Pokemon, you, my Pokemon, and I to stay in a hotel tonight. Plus, I felt that a celebration was in order for the hard work my team has been doing lately."

Shadow giggled and turned into a totodile. But, she was having trouble. John laughed at her when he saw the green totodile in his arms.
"Ugh... I'm not doing that again. It makes me feel sick," she said as she turned back. John looked at Earl.
"I'm not getting rid of you am I? Whatever, I guess I can stick around for the night. But I've got my own money. Whatever you plan to do, I'll go in half," John said. That was his way of being nice to the guy.

"Getting rid of me would only make things dull, plus I think your Zorua likes me. Anyways, that sounds fair. It would also allow me to see some of your other Pokemon. Maybe I can help you teach your Pokemon some new moves, hm?"

Leonidas, at this point, simply smacked Earl on the back of his head. It was obvious he didn't like John, and he decided it was time to show Earl how much of a bad idea it would be to be friends with the enemy.

"Ow Leonidas. You really should quit doing that. You just might not get your steak tonight."

Leonidas then had a look of shock before he looked down, defeated. He would do anything for a steak. "To Dile."

"That's better. Now, before we do that, would you mind if I get acquainted with my freshly caught Yanma?" asked Earl as he brought his suitcase up, getting ready to open it.

"Shadow likes everyone. If she starts pranking you, then you should get worried. And you need to train your Totodile a lot more discipline if he does that all the time. And go ahead and meet your pokemon. I'll be over here training," John said. He walked a little bit away and called out Nida and Sparky. The Nidoran scratched her ears and looked happy to see him. His Pikachu jumped up on to his shoulder, causing Shadow to growl a tad bit. Shadow seemed to be jealous of the baby Pikachu. John pet Sparky and she jumped to the ground. He began to train his two weakest pokemon against each other. His training was a little rough, but they both were enjoying it. He glanced at Earl, getting rather bored.

Earl simply smiled as John walked away. He then placed his suitcase on the gound and opened it, grabbing Joan's Pokeball and tossing it in the process, releasing the Clear Wing Pokemon. "Yanma!" cried the Pokemon as it came to the gound and looked up at her new master.

"Huh. Seems that you already understand who I am. Excellent. Now, allow me to introduce you to your teammates," said Earl as he released his other two Pokemon, Judas and Brutus. Brutus simply smiled at the Yanma and waved hello to the new member, but Judas' face seemed to be completely wiped off of his body. Highly curious, Joan walked up to the Spiritomb, only for Judas' face to suddenly reappear and scream. This, however, did not scare the brave and curious Joan. In return, her eyes glowed a white color, and then she tackled Judas... Surprisingly not going through him and taking him to the ground. Judas was shocked at this himself, but he later laughed at it, along with Brutus and Leonidas.

"Well ain't she smart? She knew to use Foresight before tackling Judas... She knows how to battle ghost types," thought Earl as he patted the Yanma's head. Joan simply leaned into Earl's touch and buzzed her wings, showing she enjoyed it. "Well then, how about we see what you can do Joan?'

Earl then began directing Joan to do various moves as she simply got faster and faster thanks to her Speed Boost ability as Leonidas and Brutus watched Earl and Joan. Judas, however, had decided to float over to John and his Pokemon. Judas was never one for staying in one spot, and he had decided to check out what John was doing. As he got next to John, he landed to John's right side and looked up at him, staring. This was how he got to know people, but it was rather creepy to see something like a Spiritomb just stare at someone...

John noticed the Spiritomb next to him and ignored it. He was to into his training. He had sent out Aquanis and Leaf and had them training in a two on two battle with Nida and Sparky. Surprisingly, the latter two were winning. John smiled. His pokemon were amazing.
"Now! Nida, finish this with Poison Fang! Sparky! Thunberbolt!" John yelled out. Nida dodged the Leaf Storm and ran and sunk her fangs into Leaf's back.
"Chiko!" Leaf protested. Sparky blasted a thunderbolt at Aquanis, who blocked it with his shells.
"Dewott!" Aquanis yelled.
"Pi-pikachu!" Sparky replied. John smiled.
"That's good you guys! That's enough for now!" John said with a smile. Shadow glanced at the Spiritomb, not quite understanding what it was doing. John walked over and began to watch Earl and his training. He wasn't as bad as John thought, but he was too soft. Too nice. His pokemon picked up on that weakness and did things that they shouldn't be able to get away with. John said nothing. Not everyone was like him. Not everyone had the same goals he did. For that end, he had to be the strongest he could be.

Israel walked into his Las Vegas hotel room to see Yasumi. "Congradulations on your victory" said Yasumi. "What!!!! It's already on TV? we need to scram pronto" said Israel. "Where are we going?" asked Yasumi. "Myrtle Beach, my home, I grew up with the Gym Leader over there, her mother was friends with my mother" said Israel. "Her?" said Yasumi curiously. "Yes, Aurora is her name, she uses water type pokemon, she was a very close friend of mine when we were growing up" said Israel in response. "How close" asked Yasumi. "Not THAT close" said Israel, "there was no one before you Yasumi." "Do you plan to challenge her when you get there?" asked Yasumi. "Of course" said Israel. "With what?" asked Yasumi. "With my pokemon" answered Israel not sure where she was going with this. "With what pokemon?" asked Yasumi. "With Sceptile" answered Israel becoming annoyed with this game. "Is that all you're going to use" asked Yasumi, "one grass pokemon vs three water types that most likely know ice moves." Israel stopped, she was right, there was no victory with only Sceptile, Aurora was far too strong. "What do you think I should do about this?" asked Israel. Yasumi held up a poster that said Safari Zone Wachulla Florida.

(OOC:Should Yasumi get more development?")

Kitten let out a thankful sigh as Silver tugged her along. Looking around she noticed how dense the fog had become, with each step things seemed to scuttle about. Not sure what to make of it Kitten mearly stepped over what ever was under her feet.

"S-silver maybe we should go back.." Kitten mumbled with a shudder as something grazed their hands, something slightly soft.. "Eeep.." She squeeked. "Silver! T-that wasn't f-funny.."

Something again slid across her back in a very cold and sinister matter. With out a second thought the young girl bounced forward with great speed rushing past Silver in attempt to get away form what ever or whoom ever else was there.

What was Kitten running from? Silver was looking around to see what was scaring her, but wait. It's too foggy. What is scaring her anyway? That's when something cold went through his shoulders.

"Kitten! Don't run!" Silver too ran from the frightful wind around him. He was looking for any sign of Kitten, but he accidentially trips over, falling to the floor with a thud. He singed by the pain in his leg. He had injured his leg from the fall, & now he was lost. But that's ok! There's always hope at these times. An evil sound was heard somewhere, & that broke Silver's cool.

"Kitten! Where are you?!" Silver was so scared he stayed on the ground & shouted as hard as he can. "Help! Come back!"

Something seemed to lean over Silver, it's red eyes gleeming like rubies through the dense mist as it peered down at the frightened boy. It's face bacame somewhat visable as it drew closer to the boy, infact you could only just see dark blue and white over it's face. With a quick sniff the creature pulled back before running through the dense fog making no sound as it lept from tomb stone to tomb stone. As it lept it glanced about the fog not phased if it was dense or not looking for the female that had run off before.

"Haunter!" Came a cry from a nearby pokemon as it circled about just above the ground, it too seemed to have trouble finding it's way around.

Kitten ran as fast as he legs would carry not caring if she hit things as long as she was running. After what seemed like awhile she heard Silver calling for her.

"Kitten! Where are you!" She heard Silver call, it sounded like hewas frightend. "Help! Come back!" His voice seemed very distressed.

"Oh Silver!" Kitten turned looking for where his voice had come from. "Silver I'm coming!" Turning Kitten started to make her way back towards where she had come from, well she was going the wrong way but who could tell in that fog!

No way is he gonna die now! If only one of his Pokemon had Defog...

Silver tried to get up, but his leg brought him back to the ground. If his leg was injured, how was he gonna get out of here? He could at least crawl. So he crawled around looking for Kitten, but who knows where she could be! It's to foggy here!

"Kitten! My leg's injured!" Silver shouted as hard as he can so Kitten could hear him. He grabbed onto what felt like a tombstone & barely got up. Maybe he should shout one more time. "Please Kitten! Help me!"

(OOC:Should Yasumi get more development?")

((OOC: Go for it! Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more development for her, mostly in terms of personality. Is she an insecure individual? Is she prone to be jealous? Does she have a temper? Do it to it!))

"Attention!" said Earl suddenly as Leonidas and Brutus formed a line. Earl had just finished learning about what his Yanma, Joan, could do, and he was impressed. She was deceptively quick as is, but her Speed Boost ability made her so quick Earl had to squint his eyes in order to see her. Now was the time for Earl to lead drills as Judas snapped out of his staring at John. Deciding he had like John, he went to the line, but not before winking at the Zorua Shadow. He then laughed to himself as Joan was confused. What was she supposed to do?

"Hey Joan, line up next to Judas," said Earl as Joan quickly did as Earl told her to. John had said something about his Pokemon lacking discipline, but that wasn't true. The code of honor he had taught to his Pokemon did more than teach them about honor. It taught them about the glory of battle, the need to listen to Earl's commands, and most importantly, to not give up!

"We are going to have a short race. This is to see how fast each of you naturally are. Now, Joan and Judas, you two cannot use Shadow Sneak or Quick Attack. I want to see your natural speed. Plus, I also want to see how good you are on endurance."

Judas let out a distinctive "hmph" while Joan looked downwards, a bit disappointed. "Now then, you guys must race from here to that tree forty yards away and back. Now, get ready. When I say go, you may start."

Leonidas smiled as he got into a sprinter position. Brutus simply braced himself as well while Judas and Joan seemed to not do anything at all. They were obviously not worried.

"On your mark, get set... GO!" shouted Earl as his four Pokemon took off. The lead was a tie between Leonidas and Joan while Brutus and Judas were neck and neck for third. After twenty yards, it seemed Leonidas gained a bit of speed and went smooth past Joan, who appeared to get mad at this as she sped back up. Judas and Brutus, however, just kept going, not getting tired at all. Once Joan and Leonidas reached the tree, they both seemed to be breathing heavily as Judas and Brutus weren't even breaking a sweat. Heck, they were almost catching up in fact. About halfway to Earl, Brutus and Judas had lined up with Joan and Leonidas... Until Joan suddenly zoomed past them to Earl. Her Speed Boost had kicked in, and she was already back to Earl. Leonidas was now neck and neck with Brutus as Judas made it to the finish line before them. Leonidas and Brutus then made it, coming in at a tie.

"Huh. Well, to say the least, Joan won, Judas got second, while Brutus and Leonidas tied at third, but it seems Judas and Brutus could do a couple more races," said Earl as Leonidas and Joan landed on the ground, tired and sweating while Judas and Brutus wer just standing there, not really doing anything. Deciding that now was the time to call it a day, Earl got Joan's, Brutus', and Judas' Pokeballs out. "You three did good today. Return."

The red light quickly enveloped the three as they went in their Pokeballs. Leonidas, still panting a little bit, still managed to jump up on Earl's left shoulder as Earl put the Pokeballs back in his suitcase.

"So John, ready to head to the hotel? Maybe a place to get some food first? I know of some places we can eat at. There's Monte's Steak and Seafood over on the Quarter. Good stuff man, especially here in Jackson, Mississippi."

(OOC: Let the development begin.)

The end of a battle rages in a Gym in Japan in 1998, the leader of this gym is Akio Tanaka, descendent of shinobi ninjas of the Koga clan. Akio has learned many skills, hand to hand combat, swordsmanship, stealth but his pride and joy is his mastery of Dragon pokemon. In this battle's end Tanka's Haxorus vs the challenger's Darmanitan, (OOC: Of course they're speaking Japanese being as they are in Japan) "Haxorus finish him with Dragon Pulse!!!!" Yelled Akio. Haxorus did as his master ordered and fired a dragon pulse at his enemy. The Darmanitan fainted upon being hit. The challenger withdrew his Pokemon and so did Akio, they both went to the center of the arena and bowed, "You were a good challenger and I am honored to have faced you" said Akio, and then he went to his daughter who was watching from the side. His daughter's name was Yasumi a five year old, "You won again dad" she said happy. "Winning and losing is not always the most important thing in battle but I do reserve the right to brag" said Akio smiling, Yasumi looked at him confused, "Of course, I'm kidding" he said, "the challenger was a fine pokemon trainer that could very well make it to the top of the Nipponese league." "Daddy, my friend told me that Pokemon aren't happy that way. You know, fighting eachother and hurting eachother. "Who told you that?" asked Akio wondering where she got such an idea. "He didn't wan't me to tell you his name" said Yasumi, "He also said that it's wrong for people to own Pokemon like they're slaves." "Well, don't listen to your friend, he doesn't know what he's talking about" replied Akio, "You know what? I have a great idea, why don't we catch you your first pokemon today?"said Akio. "Wow really? I get to be a trainer like you? Well, I know exactly what Pokemon I wan't but I don't want to hurt him by making him my slave" said Yasumi. Akio got real serious now, "Listen to me Yasumi, Pokemon are not the slaves of the trainers they are partners, people make Pokemon stronger, and in return they get a good friend, now show me the Pokemon that you want and I'll catch it for you."
