What if they were real? rated 16+ (just in case any adult themes come up)

(OOC: Sparky knows Giga Impact now. I was going to replace Thunder Punch with Brick Break. The only electric move she needs isThunderbolt. Or maybe Double Team... I'm not sure, what do you think?)

"Well, Aquanis could do well with Hydro Pump. And Buster needs a good Rock type move... Maybe Rock Tomb or Rock Slide. Either one," John said as he pulled out Cinder's, Aquanis's, and Buster's pokeballs. He called them out. Cinder huffed and shot out a little spout of flame. Buster growled menacingly at everyone, and that got Cinder's attention. Cinder roared at him. Buster simply turned to Cinder.
"Rhyhorn..." he said intimidatingly. Cinder was not impressed. He let out a fierce roar, and Buster glared at him. The two of them were in an intense staring match. Aquanis looked confused.
"Dewott?" he asked uncertainly. John picked him up and he got happy.
"Dewott! Dewott!" he said happily.
"Yay! We're gonna learn new moves!" Shadow said happily.
"As soon as Cinder puts Buster in his place you will. I hope this doesn't get violent," John said with a smirk as the two pokemon continued glaring at each other.
"Earl, why don't you start teaching the pokemon their moves," John said as he watched Buster finally back down. Cinder roared in triumph.

((Ah! I see... Anyways... Keep Double Team. Good move for a Rai- I mean Pikachu. Thunder Punch, since it is weaker than Thunderbolt, would probably be better to replace with Brick Break.))

Earl chuckled to himself as he saw the Rhyhorn named Buster back away from Cinder. Earl's Pokemon might be full of personalities, but John's Charizard, and Rhyhorn, seemed to act like a certain individual Earl knew...

"Hydro Pump? Hmm... Cool. Aquanis can pair off with Leonidas then. I was planning on teaching Leonidas that. Aquanis, go see Leonidas," said Earl as he began flipping through the book, stopping when he got to the page about Hydro Pump as Leonidas waved Aquanis over. Seems that Leonidas had caught his breath from his match with Hera.

"Cinder, you see that Yanma over there?" asked Earl as he walked over to the Charizard, pointing at the considerably smaller dragonfly. "Go over to her. Both of you will be learning Ominous Wind from me in a second. Just please don't eat her."

And that's when Earl saw Sparky and Shadow. Smiling at them both, he made sure to mark the pages talking about Attract and Brick Break. If anything, these two would learn their new moves the quickest.

"You two just stay together. I'm gonna introduce myself to your new teammate," said Earl as he walked over to Buster.

"Now... The name's Earl Buster, and I think you might need to learn Rock Tomb... That would definitely help you in slowing your enemies down. Just... Don't use it on Cinder. He might not like that."

With that said, Earl motioned for his other Pokemon to wait a bit. They were going to be learning some new moves themselves, but not yet. Their new moves were a bit more complicated...

"Hey John, do you still want Shadow to learn Dark Pulse? Judas over there needs a stronger Dark-type attack, and I figure Dark Pulse would be perfect."

Buster snorted and was about to charge at Earl, when Cinder shot him a sharp look. He settled down and sat looking angrily at Cinder.
"Sure, it can replace Faint Attack. She's better with Special Attacks like that one anyways," John said as Shadow grinned up at him. Aquanis jumped out of John's arms and walked over to Leonidas.

"Dewott! Dewott!" he said with a large smile on his face. He loved meeting new pokemon. And there were so many new faces here! Cinder huffed boredly as he stood next to the Yanma. Why would he eat her? She was a bug. Bugs didn't taste good. He glared at Buster. That guy was full of himself right there. Sparky jumped off of John's shoulder and bounded to Shadow.

"Pikapi!" she said happily.
"No, I don't want to play right now! Maybe later!" Shadow said with a grin. She turned into an exact copy of Sparky while Earl's back was turned, then whispered something in Sparky's ear. Sparky grinned and used Double Team, creating two clones of herself. The four Pikachus looked over at Earl.
"Pikapi!" they all said in unison. John was impressed. Sparky/Shadow actually managed to make herself sound like a pikachu.

"What are you going to do?" asked the annoying trainer mockingly. "Well for one thing my Pokemon won't get knocked out in one shot!!!" said Israel. That shut the moron up, and Israel sent out Alakazam. "Alright Alakazam use Psychic" said Israel telepathically, Alakazam responded by firing a psychic attack which hit the Titan head on, but it looked unscathed. "You idiot the Titan is known for being able to shrug off attacks" said that annoying trainer again. "I know that moron, I'm trying to lower his special defense" said Israel. Then the Electabuzz used thunder on Alakazam severely injuring it. "What was that about not being taken out with one shot?" said that trainer to Israel. Israel smiled and said "Recover." Alakazam then regained his health. "Now fire shadow balls in every possible way that he can dodge" Israel said telepathically. The Alakazam fired a flurry of shadow balls, and Israel was surprised at how many the Electabuzz dodged. However it couldn't dodge them all and was hit by a few of them. "Alright now Alakazam use Focus Blast!!!!" yelled Israel. Alakazam fired a powerful blast at the Elactabuzz while it was stunned by the shadow balls and connected head on. Focus Blast was a very powerful attack and combined with the lowered special defense of the Titan it did a whole bunch of damage. Israel then threw the Safari ball at the Electabuzz, the ball sucked the Titan in and started rolling.

As Earl turned to see Sparky and Shadow, only to see four Pikachu... Four FEMALE Pikachu, evident by the dents on the ends of their tails... Still though, he was impressed with this little stunt.

"Shadia, I'm calling shenanigans," said Earl, laughing as he tried to find the real Shadia, only to realize that even her tail had changed into a Pikachu's tail, and Lord knows that you should never, EVER pull on a Pikachu's tail.

"Oh well, I guess Sparky and Shadia won't be learning any new moves today," said Earl as Judas floated over to the four Pikachu, and began staring at them.

"Croco croco (Translation: You ready)?" asked Leonidas to the Dewott, appreciating the fact that both of them had a similiar height and build. He did notice that Aquanis seemed to be a lot stronger than him, so he wasn't gonna ask for a strength contest... Well, maybe he could, with Superpower being used...

Yanma, at this point, began buzzing and flying around Cinder, her Speed Boost ability STILL increasing her speed. Earl, deciding that he should work with those two first, walked over to them, smiling as he turned to the page talking about Ominous Wind and how it was used in his book.

"Hmm... This shouldn't be too tough for either of you. It is a wind-based technique, and since you are both part Flying-types, you should grasp it quickly."

Reading how it was used, Earl saw something at the bottom of the page about reading the move Ancient Power. Deciding it might be good to see such a move, Earl made a mental note to check it out later.

"Okay, first off, I want you both to think about any negative emotion or thought. Anger, sadness, gloom, anything along those lines. After that, imagine it being worse. How much worse? As worse as possible."

Earl then waited for a bit, only to smile when he saw Joan's wings become outlined in a purple aura. Turning to Cinder, he saw the same thing happening, but they seemed to be troubled. They must have been thinking about some extremely negative thoughts or emotion.

"Now, throw those wings back and then forward as hard as possible!" shouted Earl as the Yanma and Charizard did as told, unleashing a massive wind of purple, negative energy that sent freakin' trees flying. Impressed, Earl turned back to them, smiling as Joan and Cinder both seemed to feel better. Just then, both of them seemed to get stronger in more ways than one. Joan, at this point, was becoming rather twitchy because she was so fast.

"Ominous Wind, check!" shouted Earl as he waked over to Leonidas and Aquanis, getting prepared mentally for the next move, turning to the page describing Hydro Pump.

((This time, I want John to describe Earl teaching Leonidas and Aquanis Hydro Pump and getting blasted by the two Pokemon with the move.))

(OOC: How the heck am I supposed to do that? Oh, never mind, I'll think of something.)

Sparky/Shadow giggled fiercely and turned back to normal. Sparky dropped the Double Team. She turned her attention to Earl. He was now teaching Aquanis and Leonidas Hydro Pump.

"Now, this should be a piece of cake for you two. You're both water types, and Hydro Pump is an incredibly powerful water move. Now, focus on the power within. Let it flow through you," Earl said. John wasn't really paying attention. He was marveled by Cinder, who had learned Ominous Wind very easily. Cinder was now flying around incredibly fast. He was like a great red blur. Oh yes, Israel wouldn't know what hit him next time they fought!

"Dewott! Dewott!" Aquanis said happily. He understood what Earl was telling him. He felt the power inside. A glance at Leonidas told him he got it too.
"Now, focus your power, and blast it as hard as you can!" Earl said. John was startled by the two abrupt fountains of water that were blasted. Earl dove out of the way as they went right over him. Aquanis's Hydro Pump blasted a rather large boulder off the ground, where it landed with a large thud near Buster. Leonidas's Hydro Pump was almost as strong and a bit better aimed and created a large crator in the hill.

"Holy crap!" John said, astonded by the power of the move. Earl got to his feet.
"Wow! That was really strong you guys!" Shadow said, her tail wagging happily. John had to agree with her on that one! Aquanis had been lacking a goos kill move, and this was perfect!
"Dewott! Dewott!" Aquanis shouted happily as he turned and blasted a Hydro Pump up into the air. Cinder deftly moved out of the way and roared at Aquanis.

(OOC: I hope that was fine. I couldn't imagine anyone being able to survive two Hydro Pumps at once.)

((You have a point... *remembers how powerful Hydro Pump was in the anime* Yeah, point made. Good job though.))

"Wow... That was... Powerful," said Earl as he stood up, smiling at his work. The Pokemon were getting the moves rather quickly. Still though, he had more Pokemon to teach moves to. One of which he was so sure about... Might as get it it out of the way.

"Hey Buster buddy," said Earl, motioning for Leonidas to come over there. The only reason why Leonidas was coming over was if Buster tried anything. Earl, being confident in his Pokemon, just knew that Leonidas would be able to Hydro Pump Buster if he tried anything.

"Great, so, we shall begin learning the move known as Rock Tomb," began Earl as Buster began growling at him. Earl simply cut his eyes at the beast while Leonidas did the same, water still dripping from his mouth. He was ready to unleash a Hydro Pump if Buster tried anything. Buster stopped growling, but he still looked like he would try something. Earl just nodded at Leonidas, making sure to stay on his toes.

"Anyways, Buster, Rock Tomb is a pretty normal technique for Pokemon like you to learn. When used, it would allow you to stop your opponents from moving and hurt them, and we know you like hurting things."

Buster slightly brightened up a bit. A move to trap AND damage his enemies so it would be easier to ram them? OH HELL YEAH!

"HORN!" shouted the Rhyhorn, happy to hear of such a thing. Earl grimaced a bit along with Leonidas. Yeah, Buster was EXACTLY like a certain individual Earl knew.

"Yes, now then, I want you to focus on that boulder right there," said Earl, pointing to the boulder Aquanis had moved from a while ago. Buster began staring at it, focusing. Earl had a feeling that the only reason why Buster was so happy was because it was going to destroy something.

"Now, slam your front legs into the ground, sending that energy built up to that boulder!" shouted Earl as Buster suddenly jumped up, slamming his front legs into the ground, focusing his energy to go head towards the boulder. For a split-second, Earl thought he failed, until the boulder freaking shattered from the pointed stones coming from the earth. Whatever was left of said boulder was still surrounded by stones.

"Good job Buster!" said Earl as he petted the Rhyhorn, which immediately began growling at Earl again. "So much for being friends!" thought Earl as he began running to Sparky and Shadow, Leonidas tailing him before Buster could use Rock Tomb again on them.

"Now, time for Shadow to learn Attract and Sparky to learn Brick Break," said Earl, panting slightly along with Leonidas. That was extremely close.

((I calls for a time skip after you post Nido. After the skip, which will only be a hour or two roleplay time, everyone will be knowing their new moves.))

(OOC: And... I have skipped ahead. I don't know how I would have you teach the rest of the moves. I'll update my team in a while.)

John sighed. Things were great! His pokemon had all learned some incredible moves! But, there was one thing left to do.
"Hey, Earl. Whenever you're ready to continue your training, then get ready to battle. If you still want to work on what I've taught you so far, then go right ahead," John said. Cinder dropped down next to him and huffed amusedly. John smirked as Shadow turned into Shadia and stood next to him, leaning on his shoulder. She had the same smile he did on her face, though with her, she looked nice, whereas he just looked smug. Buster ambled next to him, still glaring at Cinder, who simply ignored him. Aquanis and Sparky were rough-housing on the ground in front of them.

Earl simply turned to John, smiling. His Pokemon were getting stronger by the second, and after a visit to a nearby Pokemon Center, it was confirmed they had each successfully learned their new moves, along with becoming slightly stronger with Leonidas still leading the party by at least two levels ahead. While being at level twenty-five, Earl knew his chances weren't that good, but he had already had a plan made for this.

"Well Honky, I believe we should go ahead and start the show," said Earl as he walked back a bit, Leonidas still out of his Pokeball and following Earl. After his visit from the Pokemon Center, Earl kept the rest of his Pokemon in their Pokeballs. It was time to kick some ass.

"You first teacher," said Earl mockingly, looking rather smug himself.

"I thought the challenger was supposed to chose first. But I'll pick first, if you're to scared that you need that advantage. This will hardly be a battle at all. And I'm sure you know my starter. Cinder! Let's take him out!" John said as the level 40 Charizard took to the sky. Cinder roared in defience and in challenge.
"Hehehe! You're so predictible Johnny! Everyone knows you prefer to use Cinder first!" Shadia/Shadow said as she clung to John's neck.
"Well, he's my most well rounded pokemon. He can deal with many different situations. What would you expect? Also, I'm going to let you know, your best chance would be to knock out Leaf and Sparky. Not only are they the lowest leveled at 35 each, but they are also the most fragile," John said. He didn't mention that they were also the fastest, but he'd find out if he could make John send them out. But, knowing Earl, he'd be after Cinder and Shadow, the two strongest currently on his team. Let him try. John would show him why they were his two best.

Earl only smiled at this, deciding to send out a Pokemon not many would choose to send out against a Flying-type.

"Get in there Brutus!" shouted Earl as he tossed Brutus' Pokeball, revealing the level twenty-three Makuhita. When the Makuhita came out, he looked to the skies, smiling at the Charizard. Oh man... John was going to be in for a surprise.

The Safari ball shattered as the Electabuzz came out with electricity surging around him, "Alakazam use......" Israel was cut short by the flurry of lightening strikes randomly striking on the battlefield and beyond, one struck almost near Israel and fell to the ground covering his ears. The Electabuzz then punched Alakazam hard with fire punch, then the Electabuzzes hand glowed a light blue and it started walking toward Israel. Israel struggled to his feet and held his ground, he had survived a fight with a high leveled Hydreigon, there was no way he was going to let him self be killed by some Electabuzz.

John never lost that smirk. Interesting choice. Of course, Cinder had no flying type moves. But that wasn't important. This was going to be an interesting battle. How would Earl react to fighting such a high leveled opponent? What strategies would he use? John had the advantage, and Earl would have to fight hard to even get a hit on Cinder. Even if Cinder landed, he was still very fast on his feet. That was one major part of John's training. Even if they were terrible at dodging, they had to be fast enough to get into a good position to follow up whatever they were doing. John said nothing about Earl's choice. Whatever plan he had, John was confident he could foil it. Because John was the greatest there was.
"Alright, Cinder, you've circled around roaring enough. How about you break out that Flamethrower," John said. Cinder flew barely into range and blasted a powerful Flamthrower at Brutus before ducking back out of range again. That was one of John's specialties, having Cinder flit in and out of attack range. That pretty much guarenteed he'd be able to react to whatever was thrown at him. But this also allowed the pokemon he was fighting to do the same. That wasn't a problem. Cinder could outlast just about anything.

The Electabuzz came closer ready to kill Israel, Alakazam saw this and reacted by quickly firing a Focus Blast. The Titan Electabuzz was distracted by Israel and couldn't dodge the attack. This was the second Focus Blast that he took, adding to the damage was his lowered special defense from the Shadow Balls. The Electabuzz was now lying face first in front of Israel, and Israel was certain it was beat so he quickly threw the Safari ball and and walked over to where Alakazam was, this time it had to be caught.

"Brutus, dodge it!" shouted Earl as Brutus did an impressive side sommersault, barely dodging the Flamethrower. Normally, whenever Brutus was at a disadvantage, Earl would have him use Fake Out, but Brutus didn't know Fake Out anymore. Still though, Earl decided to continue with his plan.

"Brutus, do not waste your energy, wait. You're gonna need it whenever Cinder comes back down," said Earl as Brutus nodded at his trainer, continuing to wait.

"You do realize Cinder can stay up there all he wants. Brutus is too slow to dodge forever. But, I want to see what you've got planned. Cinder! Use Dragon Claw!" John said. Cinder flew down in a flash and charged toward Brutus like a bullet, ready to rake the Makuhita with his glowing purple claws as he passed over head. John was still waiting for Earl to impress him. He didn't care that he was making things a little harder for Cinder. Cinder could handle it no problem. He probably didn't even need John to tell him what to do.

The Safari ball rolled and rolled until it came to a stop, Israel had a huge grin on his face, that is until the ball started sparking and it exploded letting out the Electabuzz. Israel was fuming with frustration, "YOU PATHETIC WORTHLESS PIECE OF!!!!" he yelled until he stopped and took a deep breath. Israel had an anger problem it was true but he regained his composure and thought, "Wait a minute if he wanted me dead a while ago why didn't he just finish me with another Thunder?" Israel smiled, he was out of Thunders. "Alright Alakazam first use Recover to regain your health, and then use Psychic" The Alakazam launched a psychic, and Elcetabuzz dodged and came at it with a Fire Punch. This was Israel's chance, the Elctabuzz was vulnerable to an attack, "Alakazam use Focus Blast!!!!" Alakazam fired a focus blast hitting the Electabuzz hard, the Electabuzz looked fainted. Israel looked at his pokedex and the Electabuzz still had one HP left so Israel threw the ball. The ball rolled and rolled until finally it stopped and clicked, Israel had captured an Electabuzz.

"Thunder Punch!" shouted Earl as Brutus turned to the side and lauching a left hook covered in electricity. While stepping to the side didn't allow him to dodge Dragon Claw, it allowed him to be able to take the attack. Still though, it hurt, and Earl could tell Brutus was EXTREMELY close to fainting.

"Brutus, return!" shouted Earl as he returned his Makuhita. He had plans for Brutus later on, but not at the moment. "Go Mary!"

With a shout, Earl threw another Pokeball out, revealing Mary the Gible. It was time to make things really interesting now, especially with this next move.

"Mary, Sandstorm!"

Cinder rolled to the side, narrowly dodging the Thunder Punch. This, however, made his Dragon Claw not hit the way John had intended. Thus, Brutus stayed up. A pretty good trade off. Cinder was showcasing his speed, not his power right now. Earl sent out his Gible. She then used Sandstorm. Cinder would take a bit of damage, but what was troubling was that the Sandstorm would impare his vision and his ability to fly properly. So, three options. Ground Cinder, try to fly through the sandstarm, or use someone else. John decided to use someone else. He called back Cinder and sent out Buster.
"Rhyhorn!" Buster shouted.
"Icy Wind!" John said calmly. Buster promtly ignored him and charged at the Gible with Take Down. That displeased John, but he would have a special training session with him later to make him more obdient. He liked his pokemon to think for themselves, but he also wanted them to listen to him when the time was right. John let this go, but he was going to make Buster listen one way or another.

(Just so you guys know, I'm going to post Shea's journal entries in quotes)
Day 1
Mynh: lvl 5
---------------------
Well, I've made it out of Little Rock already. Haven't found anybody, so I guess I'm not going to show off Mynh yet. I can't wait to find somebody! A few gyms are nearby, an Earth Gym in Dallas, and another in Atlanta. I forget the type. Anyway, I'm headed to Dallas, I figure it'll be easier that way. Hopefully, I'll get some advantages in the field with a few fights. I can't wait to find a trainer!

Shea kept walking along the Highway, hopin to find an opponent or something. After he gets off the Highway, he hopes to take a Forest Route so he can make some encounters. His thumb is held out to towards te road, his thumb erect. He sighed, and called out Mynh. "C'mon, buddy. I wanna see if you can help me," he said, looking at his Shaymin. Shaymin cocked its head to the side and after a short pause, he shook his head and jumped onto Shea's head. Shea sighed and donned his glasses in a serious look. "I guess I'll just keep the hitch-hiking. You wanna stay out, Mynh?" "'Min!" Shea laughed and kept walking. "Alright let's go," he said as he continued onward.
