I was wondering which have the best aftergame in your opinion.
For 2nd gen I think that the aftergame start after you defeat red.
EDIT: B/W2 can only be voted on if you don't give major spoilers.

My favourite aftergame is Black and White. there is a lot of places you can go visit and battle stong trainers and finding the seven sages is also a lot of fun.

I'd have to say White, because you get to hunt down the seven sages, but I'm not sure if you can re-battle the gym leaders. If so, that would be great!

I'd say Platinum; there wre a lot of things to do post-game like the Battle Frontier, exploring the Battle Zone and chasing down the legendary birds.

If that's the definition that we're going with, then Gen II has pretty much the worst post-game scenario. Defeating Red means the literal end of the game as it's the last thing one can possibly do. That's why I've always thought of the post-game as everything that comes after beating the Elite Four for the first time. Under that definition, I'd say that Johto has the best post-game by a country mile... given that it's pretty much an entirely new game.

If we count Kanto as post game in Johto games, then it's G/S/C. Otherwise, Black and White 2. Haven't explored everything yet, but just having that tournament is great.

For me it's definitly platinum. It had a lot of legendaries and trainers, i think what's missing in bw after game is vs.seeker. I wish every game had it :D

I'll be honest and say I dislike most post games. However, there seems to be a LOT to do in B2W2 post game. I'm saving all the lengedaries so that I can RNG them after I beat the E4 and stuff, so that will be in my post game, as well as all those hard trainers and PWT and yup. Good stuff.

I'm going out on a limb here and saying emerald. I mean you got the original Battle Frontier which I have always liked better than the Sinnoh/Johto Battle Frontier and the battle subway. You got the expanded safari zone which allows you to catch a variety of Johto pokemon. You can catch both kyogre and groudon in that game. Finally, my favorite feature of Emerald is that you can rematch all eight gym leaders 4 times with them getting progressively better and better teams.

Eh, that wouldn't really do. If the post-game was after beating Red, that would mean that the game didn't have any post-game, since nothing triggers after beating Red. So I'd have to go with second gen, since post-game is kinda meant as the extra stuff you can do after the league, and the second generation games have a whole other region after the league, making the game like twice as long, which is definitely the best post-game yet.

Johto, obviously because of the entire other region. I always thought it was fun defeating Red with my Johto team, and/or challenging all the Kanto gym leaders with a new team from that region.

I liked Platinum. With the Battleground and the Battle Frontier, there was always stuff to do. Lots of legendaries to hunt down. And an improved Poke radar I thought, graphics-wise.

HGSS since the Kanto is much improved over GSC and you can catch lots of legendaries.

Emerald. Theoretically, it has not the best after-game, after all, it has just a Battle Frontier, but anyway. I completely LOVED the Battle Frontier. I spent hours in it, battling over and over. And ever now, I can't get enough of it, really, it was awesome !

If we were to include everything after the Elite Four, hands down my favorite would be HG/SS. But, since you said after defeating Red, I would say Emerald had my favorite after game.

^ This basically sums up why I loved Emerald's after game.

Johto games, easily, taking the post-game to be after the league. Everyone else is right; beating Red is the end of the game pretty much, there is nothing after that, so you have to take the post-game to be everything after the league.

I didn't mind BW post-game too much, it was something to do, but I found it a little boring.
