What is your System (Main Series Games)?

What, in your opinion, is the best system for playing pokemon main series games? I prefer the nds lite to anything else. It's pretty small and compact, mostly easier to find now than the nds original, and allows you to play the majority of pokemon games. The screen lights up, so playing older games on it is a lot easier. With a ds lite, you can play pokemon emerald, pokemon firered, pokemon diamond, pokemon soulsilver, and pokemon black+black 2, which covers 5 regions (you don't need firered or black if you just want to encounter every region)

I probably go with the 3DS, since the backwards compatibility with DS games gives you access to 3 different generations of Pokemon games at once.

3DS XL. I've gotten accustomed to bigger screens and, whilst it might distort the resolution of the sprites in the DS games just a tad, it's something you get used to after a while until you don't really notice it.

That said, there is something very charming about playing the games on a Gameboy Micro. It's wonderfully compact, the screen brightness is pretty damn good, and it fits very snugly in your hands. Sure, you can only play the GBA titles on it, but it's good for short bursts of gameplay on public transportation~

The handheld consoles have more or less been upgrades from console to console, so I'm going to say the 3DS is my favorite. In addition to it having the best graphics, in my view it's also done a much better job than the DS did at incorporating the touch screen into the gameplay.Plus it gets bonus points for making possible the wackiest method of evolution we've seen so far in a Pokemon game.

For me, it'd have to be the Game Boy line; handhelds with just a single screen, which I found to be more convenient. I wish they would make more handheld consoles like those.

I find my 3DS XL the most comfortable to hold, so I use that for a lot of my games these days. I use either my DS or my DS Lite for GBA games, and for DS games if I want to trade. (I tend to go for the DS before the DS Lite because I don't like how GBA games stick out the bottom on the DS Lite.) For GB games, or for GBA trading, I use my GBA.

Overall, my 3DS XL is probably my favorite.

For me, it will be the New 3DS XL because of its improved 3D function. It gives you the best experience in playing pokemon games especially the newer ones. Although I may be a bit biased because graphic quality really plays an important factor for me when choosing systems.
