  • Are you a battler, fighting in tournaments to strengthen your Pokemon? Are you a breeder, breeding your Pokemon at every chance? Or are you a collector, like me, trying to fufill the original goal of Pokemon - to catch 'em all? Or still something else? Post your answer here!

  • Well I am mainly a battler, spending quite a bit of time on Pokemon Online testing out new teams and strategies.
However as soon as I get black on my DS I will definitely start breeding to get 'perfect pokemon.'

  • I'm both a battler and a breeder, though I don't take part in VGCs and breed for perfectly IVed Pokemon.

I like literally training and grinding Pokemon. Mindless grinding is just fun as well as actually evolving them. I do a bit of battling, but overall I don't really care about Online Battling anymore.

This, pretty much. I've never been one for competitive battling or breeding or performing in contests and the like. I just like raising a good team that I can call my own... and then when that gets boring, I like to set myself a challenge to create another team, which can be very fun. But because of this, I wouldn't really classify myself as anything other than a 'casual trainer' in this regard.

Breeding breeding and collecting lol. Grinding is just, nawt for me. In-game that is, cause I love competitive.

  • I'm a challenger, collector, and professor of sorts. :) I like doing challenges of different types, preferably a challenge that will land me with a Pokemon that I haven't used often or at all. When a new generation hits, I always complete the regional dex since everything's ~new~ and such. I also like collecting shinies, though most are gifts from friends! And when I say "professor", I just mean I like using diverse teams, Pokemon no one uses, etc. and trying to make them work in teams (in-game though). I also like raising some Pokemon more than once and seeing how different I can make it from Pokemon of the same species I've raised previously. I mostly do this in RSE. They're my most played games, so of course, a lot of Pokemon get re-used, such as the Torchic, Ralts, and Lotad lines. I hope that makes some sort of sense. XD; It's kind of like studying really, to see which movesets I think work the best. Once again though, it's only for in-game.

  • I'm just a trainer that adores the Pokemon she captures, and battle. But I'm not that much of a competitive battler though. I'm also a breeder. I try to breed starters, and a collector. Overall I just do all three.

Grinding is something I despise doing, but do it anyways. :(

  • I'm a collector. I always try to fill those boxes. Also, I am an in-game battler primarily, but i am studying to become a good competitive battler.

  • I just train mine nowadays. I've stopped breeding now that I've got my main team all set up, and battling has been a no-go ever since I lost access to wi-fi. So now I basically just play through my old games, leveling up, fighting evil, and becoming the Champion :)

I'm an oldschooler, with teams primarily formed of generation I and II monsters seldom nowadays used.
I sometimes breed for egg moves, and one could say I specialise in the obscure, as I'm fond of simply having access to unusual moves. The goal is to only to battle for fun, mainly at the Frontier, so to keep it interesting in my own way is nice.

  • I'm a pretty casual one really... I tend to do the minimum in the games so I can get through to new areas. Maybe you can call me more of an explorer than a trainer? :D

  • I'm mainly a battler, but I also collect lots of Pokemon (I caught lots of Elgyems last night) and I also breed when I like it.

    So yeah, I'm fairly mixed.

I would love to be a Gym Leader at the same time a Pokemon Coordinator like Fantina. Even if I'm not really into battles and stuff, being a Gym Leader, would be a great practice for contests. Also, I would like to experience the feeling wherein people would look upon you as an inspiration in battling and everything about Pokemon! <3
