Not familiar with all the languages, so apologies if yours wasn't included :P

Hey, hey, hey! What's the big idea with including our west neighbour but not Finland, eh? I'll have you know that I'm deeply offended. <.<

Well, okay...not that offended, but still...as far as I know both languages are more or less equal in popularity so I see no reason to include one and not the other. Anyway, yeah, I speak Finnish, Swedish, and English quite fluently (Yay for multi-lingual education ^0^) and I can also speak a bit of basic German. I've studied French too and can understand some basic stuff in reading but I couldn't pronounce it for the life of me so yish, I didn't state it in the poll.

I speak English fluently since it's my native language. I've been learning French (almost!) all my life, so I speak it fairly well too. Not the greatest, but I can definitely get by. As for Japanese, I can read and write it at a decent-ish level so long as I've got a kanji dictionary, and I can speak it a bit too. Definitely not very well, but I could get around with it if I had to. XD;

Apologies, I should've shown more love for Scandanavia. :P

I can speak English and Mandarin. I wish to speak Japanese fluently too, but frankly I have no talent with languages. o_O;

Well, the langauges I speak fluently are English and Italian. I take French in class on school days, but I never really consider speaking the language, nor do I know much. I'm not even close to being interested in learning it, but it's mandatory. I will eventually start taking classes in learning Japanese.

I speak:

English (My name is EmeraldSky)-my native tongue
Spanish (Me llamo EmeraldSky)-I've studied this for a while, and am getting back in the groove of learning it after taking a bit of a break...I'm surprised by how much I still remember! so despite me being a bit rusty, I'm actually pretty fluent.
Japanese (Watashi wa EmeraldSky)-Thanks to watching anime, I've picked up enough words to at least survive in Japan

English, obviously; it's my native tongue. ;3

I also know some German. I'm in German III in school right now. I think I'm a little behind on vocabulary (but then again, there's a ton of native speakers in that class too, so I might not be as behind as I think), but overall, I usually understand what's going on. I can speak it okay, I guess. It's not too terrible to pronounce. I just have to remember the difference between the vowels with umlauts and the vowels without them (ie: ö and o). I hate speaking it though. I'm afraid of messing up and having the Germans laugh at me. >:

And I picked up a few random Japanese phrases; no, they aren't kawaii and baka, before you ask. I lived in Japan for four years, so I learned a few things there. It's nothing to survive, just a few random things they actually taught us in culture class. XD; I won't vote for this in the poll though.

...isn't it "Korean"? *shot*

I speak English since it's my native language and all. Then I've been learning french for about two years now so I'm pretty good with that as well. Finally, I can speak some Arabic. It's my Dad's native language so he's been teaching me since I was younger but I really had no interest in learning it. Now, I'm trying it again and I can write some and speak, enough to understand my realitives on the phone, but it's not the best by any means XD.

Meh.

  • English
  • Portuguese (native language)
  • French
  • Spanish
  • Gradually learning Japanese.

D:

I am highly fluent in...

> Greek (native)
> English
> French

I can understand any latin language + a bit of Japanese.

I'm only fluent in English atm. I have a good understanding of French (know the basics etc.), understand some Laotian (though I can't read, write or speak it fluently), know a bit of Thai (maybe), and know a few Japanese words or phrases. I've also touched on a bit of Vietnamese as well, but only know a few words and the Vietnamese orthography (alphabet).

I'm stupid, I don't know any other one fluently except for English. I can speak a little spanish, just barely, though I think I'm going to have to take it next year as a class. And a little Italian which I picked up from my Itilain grandmother and all her relatives talking.

I speak English fluently, seeing as how its my native language...

I'm also learning French at the moment. I know just the basics, but I'm getting there.

Well, my primary language is English of course. then my secondary being Spanish...
And I know a bit of French, German, Italian and Latin...courtesy of multilingual teachers. ;D

I can speak English and Mandarin fluently. However, I'm still learning Cantonese, I can fully understand it and speak with it, but can't seem to form some sentences now and again. I actually know a bit of Malay too, it's something our school thinks we should learn, since we're growing in a multi-racial society. Go figure. Anyways, I like learning languages. =D
