3rd Gen What Level...

I get my pokemon up to about level 45 any game and just lose in the Pokemon League over and over again until my pokemon get up to around level 60. I'm in the process of challenging the Elite Four right now in Emerald. Just for the fun of it, I'll put my team down.

Blaziken lvl 47 (my most powerful)
Manetric lvl 47
Crawdaunt lvl 46
Crobat lvl 46
Rhydon lvl 46
Breloom lvl 38 (just took her out of daycare. I can't seem to beat Wallace, the champion, so I took her out and I'm trying to catch her up with the others ^^)

My team is balanced enough, they're not just at the right level for me yet. I either use this strategy or I stack my team with legendaries. This seems to be the most popular way.

I tried once with everyone at 50, and beat all of the Elite Four, then it's

"LOL NO THERES ONE MORE PERSON TO FIGHT."

.__. Complete annihilation. I was so mad.

Dont remember its was a long time ago lulz but i remember my firered has like one lv 70 and a few 40s-50s lulz.
 
Depends.

When I felt like levelling my starter and nothing else, Blaziken was level 59 when I went in to VR (the rest were 35ish)

In FR, I had a level 45ish party, with my starter being level 52, about.

In LG, my party was level 45, except for my level 50 starter.

I always overtrain for the E4 and end up sweeping them...:P

Epic.

Anyway, on Emerald, I had level 40ish Pokemon against the E4. Not the easiest thing in the world when they use Pokémon at nearly level 60. Like a previous poster, I used CM Gardevoir, but only against the champion :P

Kinda unrelated, but I beat Red on Crystal with Pokémon ranging from 45 to 60, whereas his are in the late 70s. Pikachu, supposedly his strongest Pokémon at level 81, is dissapointingly easy to beat :( My level 45 Golem destroyed it.
