I used to use WMP and Winamp..until I relased I hated WMP and Winamp didn't appeal enough to me. Then I started using Media Monkey! May I say, it owns all media players IMO...though it's close to Winamp, but better. I still use WMP to watch video and I use VLCMP to watch mkv files.

iTunes all the way! Go Macs! :D I definitely prefer iTunes over Windows Media Player.

I rotate between Foobar2000 for regular mp3 files and Winamp for my videogame music. :3

iTunes for music, Media Player Classic for videos because I can take screenshots unlike WMP (I haven't installed VLC on my laptop yet)

Sadly, I use iTunes for my music. It seems that on a Mac, the only 'good' media player with a nice interface is iTunes, no matter how much trouble it may give me.

For all of my video, I use VLC. It's just... so nice. I love it.

Well, I usually just open up WMP by default for just about everything just because my Vista likes to run it quickly. However, while at my desktop or in Japanese class, Itunes and Quicktime are my preferred choices respectively.

(Since I need to hear the sound clips on my online Japanese tests, I'm not taking the chance of WMP randomly shutting down. xD)

I sometimes use "Movie Player" in Linux, I find it's more useful for videos with subtitle files but also use VLC sometimes

I use Winamp. Used Windows Media Player at first, then iTunes when I got an iPod. Discovered foobar2000 and Winamp at the same time, though I used foobar more often back then. Gradually stopped using it in favour of Winamp. All I use foobar for is to rip CDs, since it works with LAME. Also use iTunes because I have an iPod, though I'm sure Winamp has iPod support. Might try it in the future now that I think about it. Haven't even opened up, let alone used WMP for the longest time.

I've been loyal to Windows Media Player ever since I got a computer. It's never really failed me so I see no reason to switch.

VLC. That's the only player that I've found which can play Matroska (or any other format pretty much) so it's nice as a universal player. I use WMP for music and .rmvb videos.

I'm a proud iTunes user. Though I do use Winamp and WMP often, I tend to buy a lot of songs off iTunes and use Winamp to get them onto my computer if I ever delete files from my computer at any point in time as it's just so much easier than going in the config. But that's really all I use it for.

I used to use Winamp but I've gotten attached to Windows Media Player. I don't listen to music much anymore though since I'm usually watching TV in my room with my laptop. XD

WMP when I feel like boosting songs with that SRS WOW Effects thing it has; also it's default on double-click for playing all the video and audio file-types it can play.

iTunes for general music use, keeps me an ordered library and all that...

VLC for playing uncommon file-types not supported to either WMP or iTunes.

Winamp only for converting audio files of uncommon format into .WAV, then iTunes can take it to .MP3 from there.

I would just use VLC but it seems not to remember the library view settings.

I use winamp for riping and playing music and some videos. WMP is used of other videos that winamp can't run and CyberLink PowerDVD for my DVD's.
