I have a lot of nicknamed Pokémon. .___.

I recently renamed my Shiny Gyrados Carnage and my Shiny Starmie Uranus. Gallade is Tekken and Medicham is Mannequin.

I rarely give nicknames to my Pokemon.

However, on the rare occasion that I do, I tend to name my Pokemon after current and defunct Formula 1 teams.

I nickname some of my Pokemon. My Diamond, however, has boxes filled with nicknamed pokemon. XDD;

From my team, I have my Lucario is who is named Rukio, my Luxray who is Raia, and my Torterra who has the name Magic. In training, I have my low leveled Lucario, Adiuvo, and my shiny Vulpix, Eclipse. For my bearly trained pokemon, I have two Starly's who are named Flaria (my shiny) and Konjou (my perfect IV). I also apparently have a Combee named Comb Queen that I recieved in Wifi and two female Eevee named for my friends, Cammi and Sammi. :]

AAAAnd then there are my many Riolu. I have Laii, Rakuu, Hadouga, Zeus, Rio, Kaziku(female), Lucoru, Leo, Reo, Rukaro, Razu, ~Rika(female), Loco, Roco, Rolo, Rukioru, Oruu, Roru, Roloko, Rotu, Lucaru Roku, Filius, Rukara (female), Luco, and Xhara (female). :'DDD;

I was going to have a team full of characters from The Portrait of Dorian Grey, but it kinda fell apart and I was left with just a Marshtomp named Lord Henry. xD That same game had a Linoone named Esquire and a Houndour named Juno.

When I start R/S/E with a Torchic, I typically name him Faust. Once when it was a girl I named her July. Most of the team had names that time - Rai the Manectric (female), Jack the Umbreon (male), Larson the Gardevoir (male!), and Lora the Linoone (female).

I occasionally nickname Pokemon. My Emerald starter, Torchic, was female [which I knew was a bit rare] so I named it Tiki.

My monotype Poison team on LG had these names:
Venusar - Qu
Nidoking - Ve
Nidoqueen - Ef
Vileplume - De
Venonat - Ze
Haunter - Ge

yup, letters XD

I nickname my Pokemon the first things that come to my mind. Which is basically why my Poochyena is named Chocolate but I was hungry at the time. :|

I'm one of those trainers that nicknames every single one of their Pkmn o.o

every pokemon I capture has a nick. it's nothing elaborate, but I like giving them names that inspire me when I look at them. Most are not that innovative, either, but who cares?

Random:

Bulbasaur (LeafGreen starter) - Sylan
Cyndaquil (Crystal starter) - Fire
Mudkip (Sapphire starter) - Trace
Treecko (Emerald starter) - Sphynx
Mewtwo (LeafGreen) - Hiei (don't ask).
Female Lapras - Apryl.
Celebi - Azure.
Female Pidgey - Lady
Female Mareep - Mary
Male Psyduck - Psycho
Vaporeon - Goccia (italian for Water drop)
Jirachi - Wish or Desire or Mirai (future in japanese)
Ekans - Matthew.
Gyarados - Kawa (lake in japanese)

As i said, completely random :3
