What Sun and Moon could really be...

    Here's what i've been thinking.

    The Delta Story in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire left a lot to be desired for, I literally felt that there was a piece cut out of it that we'd eventually see somewhere down the line in a future game, perhaps we will find out more on Zinnia and the "Dragon" clan she came from in these new games and that it will tie into the whole Sun and Moon name plot.

    Maybe the games will actually be a continuation of Zinnia's backstory? Maybe we'll see more of characters that are like Zinnia even though supposedly she was the last of her type?
     
    That would definitely be some interesting plot line to explore as I also feel they left a lot to be desired with Zinnia. It is a definite possibility until we get more information. I like the thought though as it would really cool to learn more about her background.
     
    Honestly, It would be awesome if her lore is touched upon in this new game. But I hope they have a lot of original instead of borrowed things.
     
    I think there is a fair chance Zinnia will return in some fasion in Sun and Moon - probably as a cameo - but as a central figure to the plot? I doubt it. I didn't really get the feeling that the Delta Episode was a prelude to something bigger, it felt more like a penultimate act, and I believe it was described in a similar fashion. I can't see them fleshing her out that much.
     
    Zinnia was a huge character of mystery and she was what kept me on the edge while I playing the Delta Episode in OR/AS. She could make an appearance in Sun & Moon, while not in a major role like the others said but maybe it'll see what happened after she left her lorekeeping duties to Brendan/May in Hoenn.
     
    I doubt Zinnia would make an appearance, especially how despised her character was in Japan and /vp/. We're also not sure which timeline Sun & Moon will take place to determine Zinnia's reappearance: Timeline B (FRLG/RSE, HGSS/DPPT, BW/BW2, XY) or Timeline C (ORAS).
     
    The timeline is always the most mysterious part of Pokemon, especially as we're learning it with the newer games. The question is, where Sun & Moon will be taking place in the timeline.
     
    Most likely her clan or lineage will be referenced, and she might make a small cameo at the most. I don't see her playing a major role in this game by any means.

    Really? People in Japan didn't like her? :( I for one loved her. Thought she was a cool new character. I would love for her to be something kind of like what Looker has been these past few games. He makes a cameo or has a small part to contribute to the story. I could see something like that for Zinnia, but if people everywhere didn't receiver her well, then who knows. :(
     
    For some reason I feel its a sequel to DPP the trainer looks like the barret hat thing from DPP and that particular game specialized in space and time in space u and planets and the sun

    Theres different timelines now? Haven't played Deltra Emerald.


    S&M could take place in a different timeline, and not have this person, but have the clan still. just a thought.

    It's a blown up fangasm to the reference to the original Hoenn games in their remake.
     
    More of her would be great,
    Looker is the kind of character who appeared in a lot of versions.
    There can be more chars like him =)

    But at this point, it can be only pure spectaculation. I'm rather
    waiting for more info on the game.
