As with Juno, I am one of the friends she mentioned, so I am also part of Mystic here (party) which is extremely nice around here because so many people leading gyms are part of Valor. But the area around where I live is all blue now :P

Apparently it does not. Not that I've noticed, and not that anyone else has noticed enough to put it on the internet /shrug

Hopefully it's something they'll add in the future, seems odd to have them reference the three main aspects of gameplay otherwise.

I would like to see it have an effect, as in making evolutions easier to achieve for Blue team. Goddamn 50 candies to evolve a Magnemite I've seen one of. Ever.

I think there is a lot to come in the game. It's literally only been out a couple of days, and despite the hype Niantic doesn't seem like it was prepared for the amount of people who would be downloading the game. I would say, don't expect anything until the game has been available worldwide officially for a while. Then they might start working on stuff. Right now they have server issues and further releases to get down, and they also have a TON of bugs to fix.
 
I was going to choose blue, but clicked red at the last minute. Team Mystic seems too mainstream, plus Moltres is pretty sweet.

As a side note, there are around three other people who live in my apartment complex who also play this game.

They're all on Mystic. D:
 
As someone who's first pokemon game is pokemon GO, can someone explain which team is best to go for/the benefits of each team? Thanks!

What's with the team leaders being silhouettes though?
 
Team Valor. They sounded ultra convincing when they mentioned "strong Pok?mon".
 
I chose team valor because my one friend is red and my "rival" is blue. And ya red is currently dominating my entire city so it was a good choice xD
 
Blue because my first game was also Blue. Felt like I had to do it for the nostalgia. Even went with my first starter. It seems like my town has one side all blue gyms and the other all red and I live on the red side. Oops.
 
Almost every gym around here is blue and just today I passed a guy who asked if I was playing Pokemon Go, and he yelled "WHOOOO! TEAM MYSTIC!!". I, on the other hand, have gone with team Valor :) Red all the way.
 
Mystic. I put almost no thought into it to be honest, I just though its overall theme was charming for me, and I love water types opposed to the other choices so that's what I chose. Well, what are you gonna do =/ Still proud of my decision, though.
