What will you be doing 5 Years from now?

"Tell me where you'll be five years from now
Will you recognise my face in a crowd?"

In 5 years? Um... *counts on fingers* o_O; I'll [hopefully] be in my first year of college/university/whatever by then. o.o; I'm hoping to get into an arts post-secondary school of some sort. I've really got no backup plans... so if I don't get one of the scolarships... X3; I'm doomed~

I'll also probably still be posting here everyday if it's still around. o.o;

edit: Oh~! And maybe with my new freedom, I'll go on a tour of the world to visit all my internet friends. XD (Actually, I do plan on making some sort of trip into the states when I'm "free" to see people if they'll let me stalk them. XD)

Yes I shall go and eat er uh see all my internet friends some day... maybe not... just 5 years because I'll only be 16.. while all of you will be like 985239057...

About college... I wanna get a degree in math, science (specifically technology and computers), and get a masters degree in it, spend like 12 years in college, learn japanese... then go to Japan and get a job at NOJ ^_^

So I hope my future works our for me ^^;;
But thats like 500000 years from now... not 5..

In 5 years huh?
Let's see.....I'll be 19 then, so that means I'll be going on my mission!
I'll be sent to some far off country or state, spreading the gospel with my partner! It's sort of like how in college, you can have a roommate, but instead they go eveywhere with you, spreading the word of the Lord. Hopefully whoever it is and I will become the best of buddies hehe..

Have any of you seen the movie "The Far Side of Heaven"?
That could happen to me hehe...

It'll be the adventure of my life!

In five years I'll be 21...and finishing up my fourth year of university...hopefully, anyway. That probably means I'd have a degree in something...and then maybe med school would await. Who knows?

Well, in 5 years I will be taking my first step into adult hood, meaning I will be 20 years old. To tell you the truth, I can't really tell you what I will be doing 5 years from now, I could be living with my parents still, I could be applying for a job in meteorology (not sure about this one anymore), or might be applying for a job as a movie critic! The world is so surprising, you may think that you know exactly what you'll be doing in 5 years, but then all of a sudden you may find yourself doing something VERY different from what you planned out in the first place, and it may even be something that you like even more!

The only thing I could really tell you and be sure about, is that I will be 20 years old, and will be in College.

I guess so... things change. o_O I just wish I had a better idea of what I'd do in the future, because, I only have a year a little bit of High School left before University. =\

I'll be 19 then, and although I know I'll be in the 5th year of my course at uni I have no idea what I want to do afterwards.

Erm... hopefully I'll be in my 2nd year of Med school, but who knows... I might be running for the GB Team in the 2009 Athletics thing... I don't know. :D

I'm not going to college i allready graduated from school in mexico becuse you only need to be 15 over there. One of the reason's i cant go is becuse of money problem's but i plan to apply to weekly shueisha or shonen sunday as a assistant for a year or two then i wanna apply for a manga-ka postion i have allready worked with takahashi and toriyama and ishinomori in the past and my connection with takashi (the only one of the 3 still alive/working in manga) to help me get in with one of the weekly's.

I'll be in college, hopefully to become a marine biologist, teacher, ar writer... (Can't make up my mind and I've only got 3 more years to decide...) I am highly looking forward to this because I get extremely good grades and from the looks of it, could get into any college I want!!

I also plan to still be on this site, because I will ALWAYS love Pokemon!!

Well, I'm still deciding what kind of job I want to have whenever I'm older. I'm stuck between two decisions; I could become a professional artist, mostly doing manga books or something like that. But, I really love Orcas and other dolphins and animals, and so it would be a dream for me if I was able to work with them. Wild, or in captivity. It doesn't matter. The only problem is that those two professions are entirely different from each other. And plus, if I've met someone that I like and we got married, I would probably be busy taking care of my children. So... I couldn't do something that would take up almost all of my time.

I've considered moving back to Hawaii, if I don't find someone that I like here in Texas, and after my grandparents pass away. (I know that it will happen one day, even though I hate the thought...) My mother thinks that it would be nice to live there also, so she could come with me, along with some of my other relatives. I wouldn't want to live there alone. It just depends. I could work at Sea Life Park there, or do research on Orcas in the wild. I wouldn't really be a good performer, because I get so stage fright, so that's out of the question. I guess I have yet to decide... But, I do need to make a decision soon, because I'm not getting any younger each day. If it wouldn't be too hard, I might could do both; draw in my free time, and work with animals as my real job. And I could make extra money off of my artwork. I'd just like to go to some sort of art school, first.

I already know what I'm doing, I'm joining the Organization under Europe like my Dad did (hehe it's like Team Rocket Euro!)

2 words and 2 words only...

"College"

Heh, college has its upsides and downsides, at least that's what I've learned from speaking to people that are already in college. Kind of like a whole pros and cons kind of thing, but there's too much of that, and I don't have the time to put it all on here, but there are some of the major stuff.

Its really cool because you have a lot of freedom, and for the first real time in your life, you're on your own, you get to make all of the decisions for yourself, you depend on none other than you yourself to make it in the world. A lot of responsibility, I think, so I think that that's when you truly get to start feeling like an adult. Not only that, but no one is really there to boss you around, so you can literally do anything you want, so long as you stay between the limits XP.

But, where it's cool, it's also bad, its kind of hard to have one without the other :P. You're so swamped with homework and basically all of the college stuff, that having time for yourself and your personal life is out of the question unless you do your work and keep your responsibilities, unless if you just don't do it, but it will all come back ot you in the future. And if you're playing a sport as well, think of all the long grueling hours of practice, hours that are vital in your college. But so long as you take care of everything, you'll be ok.

I'm going to be in college in 5 years, I'm very sure of that, I don't exactly know which one I'm going to, but I have an idea of what field of study I am going into. I hope to work for NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) on day, so that will be something to look forward to. But, like FlamingTorchic said earlier, a lot of the time you end up doing something completely different than what you planned to, and you almost always like that better. I guess I have to explore more things and make more options for myself before I really start getting serious into all of that stuff, so for now, I will just focus on what's happening now, and do my best at it.
