Heh, college has its upsides and downsides, at least that's what I've learned from speaking to people that are already in college. Kind of like a whole pros and cons kind of thing, but there's too much of that, and I don't have the time to put it all on here, but there are some of the major stuff.
Its really cool because you have a lot of freedom, and for the first real time in your life, you're on your own, you get to make all of the decisions for yourself, you depend on none other than you yourself to make it in the world. A lot of responsibility, I think, so I think that that's when you truly get to start feeling like an adult. Not only that, but no one is really there to boss you around, so you can literally do anything you want, so long as you stay between the limits XP.
But, where it's cool, it's also bad, its kind of hard to have one without the other :P. You're so swamped with homework and basically all of the college stuff, that having time for yourself and your personal life is out of the question unless you do your work and keep your responsibilities, unless if you just don't do it, but it will all come back ot you in the future. And if you're playing a sport as well, think of all the long grueling hours of practice, hours that are vital in your college. But so long as you take care of everything, you'll be ok.
I'm going to be in college in 5 years, I'm very sure of that, I don't exactly know which one I'm going to, but I have an idea of what field of study I am going into. I hope to work for NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) on day, so that will be something to look forward to. But, like FlamingTorchic said earlier, a lot of the time you end up doing something completely different than what you planned to, and you almost always like that better. I guess I have to explore more things and make more options for myself before I really start getting serious into all of that stuff, so for now, I will just focus on what's happening now, and do my best at it.
