Naw, that'd be a headache. But seriously, if we dont get pink then I'm all for #660033 or #CC0066 or #E56717. That's my opinion. I'm also for changing the color now. I like the purple and all but change is neat too :P
 
What is with you people and your obsession over pink? I swear, during the time of picking a color for mods almost everyone would hop all over pink. XD
 
l dont know Sig. To me, pink is pleasing to the eyes...unless it's hot pink. Anyway, I think the reason we want pink is a simple matter of It's The Only Color Family(?) that isn't taken/too close to a taken/hasnt been worn into the ground by another group.
Or maybe most of us hold the concept of pink as an feminine color as a archaic notion...

I'm not really a big fan of straight pink, myself. Now I'm certainly able to cope with the slightly blended colors of Pink. that's why I suggested that Fuchsia color (#CC0066) in the poll. It satisfies all the criteria for pink without being overbearing and is able to be seen on the lighter styles as well as the darker styles of the forum.
 
Agreed. True pink might not show too well on lighter themes... I just dont see why people are hesitant to see the suggested use of pink as a different context, Yes in certain usages pink signifies feminine or girly, However, We aren't bound to follow norms. :p
 
That's right, I thought about it, but never said anything about the themes. On Blossom Shower, the light pink would blend in waaaay too perfectly.

I don't mind what color we get, I just want everyone to agree on one color and that's not gonna happen as long as people are still pushing for pink. We might as well make another poll and add the the colors everyone wanted (pink, hot pink, green, and our purple), and see what happens, cause this is getting us nowhere :/

Anyway, if many didn't want pink, this would be a spam hole of arguments. Many WANTED pink, but I know what you're talking about. If pink does win, try to have fun with it at least a little. It's just a Pokemon forum and it would be funny anyway. Admit it D:<
 
Ooops...I didn't think about other members using different themes. If we pick a color it needs to blend in with all themes that PC have and also doesn't mistake as a Mod or Staff. Pink might work in some themes, but in others it won't. I guess we are stuck with purple. But whatever color everyone picks, it is fine by me. But everyone has a point though.
 
I'm still all in for #E56717, it might be a little close to the super mod color, but I think it's different enough that we wont get any more people thinking were staff than normal. Oh, and I'm totally against pink. >>
 
I'm fine with what we've got right now, but I'd be just as content if it were either #339900, #E56717, or #CC0066. any one of those are fine with me.

Sorry for appearing so defensive about it, but it just seems that you guys are pushing for pink. Don't worry about it...

Just an Idea, but how do you think the Assistant Admins would consider swapping User Colours with us? Green would be nice...

somehow I don;t think that switching colors with any staff position would be a possibility. however I do believe that there is a color green in the poll that is not the same as the AA color, that'd be nice though
 
The AA colour was one that they agreed with, so it's more than likely that they'll be keeping that for a while. And as Gerri Shin® had just stated, there is a green on the poll already. It's also close to the former PC Supporter green that was replaced by this purple.
 
I would love to have a magenta user name. The user bar can stay purple to compliment the user name.
Just love my magenta. Doubt people would want it though.
