[Question] What's There to Do In Postgame?

I'm nearly done with the main plot of Scarlet at the time of writing, and I decided to see online if there was any postgame content. So far I haven't really found much. No Battle Tower, no cool postgame quest, just...catching all the legendaries. Am I missing something or is this game just lacking?

Not much.

• Gym rematches + Academy Ace Tournament. Places most of these battles at levels 65-66. Earns a random reward for the tournament.
• Team Star rematches. Grants LP based on your time. (Supposedly. Has not done this yet.)
• Find all the stakes to catch legendary Pokemon.
• Filling the Pokedex for a Shiny Charm
• Defeating 6-star Tera Raids. Becomes available after clearing the above tournament and clearing enough high star Tera Raids. (Calls you when it unlocks.)
• Runs a 7-star Tera Raid Charizard event on December 2-4, and again from December 16-18.

Cannot think of anything else besides those.

Basically, this means that not much of a post-game exists. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet definitely needs some DLC, pronto. Does this game have battle facilities at least? I think the developers definitely went a step in the right direction with the Battle Tower in Sword and Shield that allowed you to use any Pokémon you wanted. I ask because I am not finished with the game yet and probably won't finish it for quite some time. I enjoy taking my time when playing Pokémon and with the open world, it might take me longer than normal.

No, no Battle Facility. Moved all the usual rewards for that to the shops, at least. Made those quite accessible.

I sure hope it returns for the DLC, but that might be a long shot. ☹️

With how much there is already in the game, I don't know if we need it 'pronto' but it definitely will have some I am almost certain. I do wish there was something. I am not a Battle Tower person, but some things I've loved like Subway, the White Tree/Black Tower in BW2 and the Battle Chatue in Kalos.

Technically there is a story mode after the Elite 4, but we are so used to credit rolling after, we don't take that into account with the 4th Story. Its already more post game than we've had in the last few generations, not counting DLC.

So sword and shield route, where we have to wait abit until decent postgame
