Espion was a mistake lmao, I was training Eevee to level 29 for it to learn a Fairy type move so I could evolve it into Sylveon but IT EVOLVED INTO ESPION AND I LOST THE ABILITY TO THINK AND FORGOT TO PRESS B. [Sigh]

I kinda just went with it though. I like Espion.

Also might replace Lucario with Tropius, which I know is a weird move, except that Tropius is my favorite Pokemon and I desperately need a Grass type. Currently looking for one I can afford on GTS.

EDIT: Changed my mind, got Sylveon and Espion is now gathering dust in Box 1 (probably gonna Wonder Trade that poor guy to someone who will treat him well :/). Lucario is now an HM Slave, soon to be replaced by Tyranitar. Feel free to direct your hate towards my inbox.

My first run-through I used Pokémon like Vaporeon, Swellow, Umbreon, Charizard, Leafeon and Xerneas, with Vivillon and Tyrantrum being levelled up pretty high as well and Moltres for post-game (I originally had Greninja and Fletchinder in my team but I swapped them out after a while).



Doing a second play-through now and traded over some pokés to start off this new game (before the announcement of Hoenn lol which is unfortunate because half of this team I'll be using in Omega Ruby lol) :)

Currently in the post-game of my first playthrough in Y. My team conists of Greninja, Mienshao, Dragalge, Scizor, Jumpluff, and Mamoswine. The last two slots were thought about for a long time. I couldn't decide! There were so many great options. In the end, I decided I didn't want to train up a Litleo from such a low level.
 
So I'm about halfway through my current playthrough of Y.
So far my team consists of:
Chestnaught
Blastoise
Nidoking
Talonflame
Doublade (not yet Aegislash)
Diggersby (my hm slave... gotta have a replacement ready for the elite 4)
 
Finally got Pokemon Y! Just started so my current team is...

I just started my first playthrough of Y on friday, got 1 badge so far...

Lv. 16 Pikachu named Peach

Lv. 12 Pansage named Herbie
 
Generally I mix and Match, though my *bulbagarden.net image removed*, my *bulbagarden.net image removed*, my *bulbagarden.net image removed*, and my mega *image removed* have been used a lot recently.
 
My first playthrough was done with Delphox (Seraphinus), Garchomp (Celaeno), Ampharos (Estelle), Lucario (Caspian), Blastoise (Gregory), and Xerneas (which didn't get a nickname).

My second playthrough used:

Blaziken
Garchomp
Luxray
Kingdra
Roserade
Gallade

Although my competitive team switches some out for Dragonite/Jolteon/Liligant/Volcarona depending on how I feel. :)
 
Since I'm largely just grinding for levels, my core team is only three pokemon, which are:

  • Blaziken w/ Amulet Coin
  • Charizard w/ Charizardite Y
  • Pokemon w/ Lucky Egg
  • Pokemon w/ Lucky Egg

I just got Y the other day after wanting to get both games, I already had X and finished it. On Y I just finished the 4th gym.

Currently, my team is this.

Skrelp (Just caught so he is slightly under 30)
Lucario (But want to replace it)

Most of my team is 32 to 34.
 
The team I use the most is also the team I beat the E4 with.


Dororo the Greninja

Natsu the Charizard w/X Mega Stone
Tyrannus the Tyrantrum
Jason the Ampharos
and finally Blair the Gourgeist.


I finally got them all to Lv. 100 too! They are also my first Lv. 100's ever.
 
The current team that I use for regular battle spot is Garvantula, Dusknoir, Tentacruel, Marowak, Mandibuzz and Houndoom. I lost against some players for the first three battles cause it was my first time pvping but then won against the fourth. While I disliked encountering people with legendaries in their teams, I did feel immensely satisfied in KOing them with my regular pokemon (except for that one genesect, it sweeped my whole team).

Getting ready to start a new team very soon (I have bought another copy of Pokemon X - haven't even opened the game yet) - I already have the entire team planned out - and the 4 bred Pokemon ready to be transferred over.

I will play a Fighting-type team - where all 6 Pokemon must have Fighting as one of it's type.

Mienfoo/Mienshao - fighting
Riolu/Lucario - fighting/steel
Hawlucha - fighting/flying
Pancham/Pangoro - fighting/dark
Chimchar/Monferno/Infernape - except for Chimchar fire/fighting
Mankey/Primeape - fighting


I'm very excited to get the team started.
