I am going to go to the Elite Four in my second runthrough soon, and after much pain this is the team I currently have: Delphox, Noivern, Aegislash, Dragalge, Blastoise, and Florges.

I was ready to give up on some of those members, haha. In order to get Noivern before the last bit of the game I hatched a Noibat and kept it with me the whole time that thing is so weak omfg and I was about to drop Flabebe since it was also very weak for the first bit ;~;

Pretty much I cripple the opponent with Whimsicott (or force switch) so I can switch safely. Then I set up Huntail, Baton Pass out, and kill everything in one hit with Garchomp. The only thing that 100% counters my team is Sticky Web Galvantula.

So sad though.. the god of all pokemon, the creator of the universe, time, and existance.. owned by one of his creations. confined to a pokeball and slave to it's master's (my) will. at least Arceus makes cute sounds and gives love to let us know that it enjoys the loss of freedom as apparent with Pokemon-Amie xD!
