my favorite starter pokemon is chimchar for sure because is final evolution infernape is one of the strongest
fire type evolutions ever in my mind
 
All time favorite: Totodile hands down. -luffles her Totodile~-

As for Region.
Kanto: Bulbasaur
Johto: Totodile (No. It's going to be Cyndaquil.)
Hoenn: Mudkip
Sinnoh: Turtwig

Yep. Unlike many other people, none of the fire starters are of favorites. xD; Doesn't mean I don't like them, I just like either the grass starter or the water starter more.
 
Definitely Charmander: once Charizard, you'll have a pokemon with tremendous power (because of his Fire and Dragon type), and potential.
 
Kanto: Charmander - Charizard kicks
Johto: Chikorita - I don't know how many times i have restarted my Crystal Rom and then finished it, but i will ALWAYS pick Chikorita it is super cute and Meganium is awesome
Hoenn: Torchic - I would pick Treeko but i dislike Sceptile and I don't like Mudkip
Sinnoh: Turtwig - Turtles are my favourite animal plus it Pwns as a Torterra

My Favourite would have to be Chikorita

Totodile is my favorite. It is very strong as Feraligatr and I love reptiles. Totodile had a specific charm that I couldn't find with the other starters in GSC, although I didn't dislike the others.

Charmander comes in close behind. It's one of the very first, and who wouldn't love to have a fire-breathing dragon? I'm really into the reptilian and "cool" Pokemon, and Charmander fits the bill well for me. I almost always started with one in Red and Blue.

Cyndaquil and Mudkipzzz I'm not overly fond of, but they're still cool beans. Typhlosion is AWESOME, and Swampert is strong and its electric-canceling Ground/Water type is convieniently unique! Chikorita is one I don't really like, but Bayleef is cool and I love Meganium. As a whole, I prefer the fire and water starters to the grass.

The only generation where I didn't really like the starters was DPP. I chose Piplup because I like penguins, and when I checked the starter chains, Empoleon looked the coolest. Infernape is probably really cool and powerful, but I just prefer Empoleon. And Turtwig is a Bulbasaur impostor from Hawaii. :p
 
My favorite Starter is Charmander. I always loved Charizard. It looks very awful and strong. <3
 
My favorite starter Pokemon is Chikorita.
I guess the main reason I say this is because Chikorita was my first Pokemon in a game.
I started with Silver Version and thought it was cuter than the others.

When I get HeartGold Version, there's no doubt that I'll be starting with Chikorita.

Fire gets no love. I'm an Ice trainer.
Actually, I'm fine with Fire-types, but none of my favorite starters are that type.
 
My favorite starter of all time is Charmander. It's a authentic Fire type pokemon and Charizard looks more like a dragon then dragonite :shocked:

Charmander was the only starter that appealed to me the most.
 
It would either be Treecko, Torchic, or Chimchar. All three evolves into some of my favorite Pokemons to use: Sceptile, Blaziken, and Infernape.
