Whats your favourite movie?

I love, love, love "Waiting..."
It's one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. And if you've ever worked at a restaurant, you can relate. xDD

I'm a big fan of anything Tim Burton as well. And I'll watch anything with Kris Lemche in it (especially Final Destination 3, that movie's ace).

The only animated movies (whether American or Japanese) I watch are Disney movies. Though, I'd have to say Bee Movie is my favorite animated movie, despite not being made by Disney. <3

Well… erm… most people actually don't like my favourite film D:
It's Constantine.
Animated would be 1 man band… although that's just the pixar short so… yea… Spirits Within (hated the first time I saw it xD) or Advent Children.

Probably Advent Children, and Memoirs of Geisha.
I loved the book and movie for Geisha, though~.

& Also, I watched Crisis Core online, so it was basically like watching it as a full movie.. if it counted as an actual film, I'd totally chose it over Advent Children. <3

Most of my favorite movies are animated. My family and friends like to tease me about that, but I am not ashamed. D:< These...probably aren't in order, by the way. I'm just naming stuff off the top of my head.

Animated:
All of the Pokémon movies, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, The Prince of Egypt, Kiki's Delivery Service, The Last Unicorn, The Lion King, Sleeping Beauty, Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, Bambi, Tarzan, and practically anything else made by Disney. There are way too many others to name.

Live-Action: Pride & Prejudice, A Walk to Remember, Becoming Jane, all of the Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars (...I really am a nerd) and Free Willy movies, Flipper, Enchanted, Nancy Drew, uh. Etcetera.

I'm probably forgetting a TON, but I guess you can blame it on the fact that I'm really tired right now? XD;

I have four favourites.

The first is my ultimate favourite of all time and that is Empire of the Sun. It makes me cry everytime. Its about a boy who is living in china during WWII. The date is about 1941 and its based off a true story, that was made into a book of fiction, that was ultimately turned into a move. Anyway America attacks Japan due to Pearl Harbor and that, thus the Japanese take action against the English and Americans living in china. The parents ry and get to Singapore, but as they are trying to get away, the boy gets separated from his parents. Ultimately, he goes to a camp for several years. Its a truly loving story and when he is reunited with his parents, it makes me cry every time. The person was J.E. Barrie and he mentioned that the book is a more subtle version of his real life version and Steven Spielberg made an even more subtle version. The photography and music in the movie are extraordinary. Unfortunately, it hasn't been that well received and didn't make much money at the box office. But I think this movie deserves a higher place among Spileberg's films.

My second favourite is the "The Last Unicorn". This animated movie is a childhood favourite and it just makes me cry every time. The voice acting is well done, the animation is decent, it was animated by the Japanese so has a slight anime vibe to it. Its terrific storytelling and its just a great movie.

My third favourite is another Spielberg film, this being AI: Artificial Intelligence. Its a controversial film thanks to the ending, and its a film thats all in the interpretation. It has fantastical features but also it has an artificiality to it all, in that the artificial characters seem more real than the human characters. Its a film that one could debate for days. Its just that type of film. I for one am a huge fan.

My fourth favourite is Flesh & Blood, its by the director who made Starship Trooper. Its a medieval film, slightly fantasy but shows a realness to it. Its kinda romancy but not really. Its not historical. But the photography is nice and the acting is that kinda oldy-worldly touch to it. I couldn't describe the plot if I tried. But it just has certain elements and ultimately a great story that just makes the movie work.

I like the Pink Panther, the Princess Diaries, Norbit, Wild hogs, and Charlie and The chocolate Factory. I like a lot of movies actually. =/
