Nostalgia time - Which Nursery Rhyme (lullabys count too) was/is your all-time favourite?

If you're really in the mood feel free to sing (type) it out as well :)

All the hella metal ones about murder and diseases

Um... The ones by the Beatles? I used to sing "abamillo" instead of can't buy me love.

But I do remember the one about John's waterproof clothing. And changing guards at Buckingham Pallace. They were catchy, funny, and full of subtle messages for adults.

No Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, no Baa Baa Black Sheep, No Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall? :(

Okay, I guess those are just for little kids eh :P.

Well I don't mind going back a few years, so here's one of my favs

    Old Macdonald had a farm

Eh, I don't really know any lullabies from when I was little.

I remember one of my grandmas sometimes sang a Flemish song about a dead dog under a farmer's wheelbarrow but well that's kind of a depressing song when I look back on it. I did like it as a kid though.

My mom also used to sing me lullabies to put me to sleep, but I was very young back then, so frankly, I don't remember any.

As for Nursery Rhymes, difficult to pin-point any one, I mean I love all of them, especially the classic ones.

I've always loved falling asleep to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star as a kid (:
