I used these in my soulsilver gameplay
but now they are lvl 100 and n longer in soulsilver
i added lapras the mence and most of them as i went along.
 
My team is:
Typlohsion
Crobat
Houndoom(souly for dark type attacks)
Electrivire
Lapras
Tryanitar
I'm still training 4/6 of my team to lvl 100
 
I didnt bother ev training in the early stages of the game xD
My team up (up to beating Blaine) was :
Ampharos
Feraligatr
Pidgeot
Bellossom
Ninetales
Espeon

But I don't think they're that strong so I'm trying to get a good team before facing Blue and Red.
My team as of now :
Metagross (perfect iv's and ev trained)
Latias (great ivs and also ev trained)
Feraligatr (Seems evil to abandon my starter xD)
Houndour (yet to train xD still wondering if I should keep him or choose another fire)
Turtwig (also yet to train xD)
and I have an extra spot people, so help me choose :P *pokes siggy*

I'm thinking of dragonite, but I'm not sure which nature it should be.
I currently have Rash, Bold, Quiet and Jolly Dratinis
 
what is your pokemon catching team?

hi guys

im playing my way through soul silver and starting to think about catching the dogs.

So the question is what team did you use to take them on and catch them?

I think im going to go with my crobat and maybe a parasect
 
Really you'd want Pokemon that can withstand their attacks, as well as prevent them from escaping.

This way you could use Block as your first move, then yawn to send Entei off to sleep while you bring down his HP. Though snore means you could only attack when asleep, so if you don't mind buying a few Lemonades/Potions then you could replace Snore with a better offensive move.

However what I've been using is Gengar. Due to his high speed and ability to use Mean Look/Hypnosis. You could also have either Dream Eater or Shadow Ball/Night Shade. Again, just make sure you have some spare potions.

Just remember, the Pokemon you blocked/mean looked CANNOT die or be switched out.

EDIT:

I haven't caught them yet, they are both low health but my Gengar was quite a low level back then (37) and after two or so Flamethrowers he was a goner! Now he's been hitting the gym, I'll try again in the near future.

(Breloom with Spore + False Swipe, and a Mean Look/Baton Pass Umbreon for roamers ftw =p).

I've recently arrived in Goldenrod a little under leveled but plan to grind a bit before facing Whitney

Graveler (Need to evolve)
Kadabra (Need to evolve)

Currently done half of Kanto, and in the Game corner to get the coins for Dratini, Porygon and Eevee.
 
Well, I'm currently running through using the team of Green/Blue, the Viridian City Gym Leader. However, not using Tyranitar.

Yes, I like naming pokémon after inanimate objects, and yes, they are nearly all girls. Idk t even SR for the Totodile and Eevee! xD
