My team, for the storyline, will most likely be:
Feraligatr
Golem
Noctowl
Ampharos
Slowbro
Magmar
 
I plan to keep my totodile and not evolve it..
My team'll be:
Totodile,Ampharos,Scizor,Latios,Latias,and Raichu
 
All I Know Is...

All I know is IF I get HG or SS I will begin with Cyndaquil. I don't know if I will buy the game though because I like the Sinnoh region better. It's more natural because my first game was diamond, since I got that when I actually got a DS. Bottom line: My lineup is a total mystery.
 
HG: Meganium, Umbreon, Suicune/Gyarados, Steelix, Arcanine/Ninetails, and Gengar
SS: Typhlosion, Umbreon, Suicune/Gyarados, Steelix, Vileplume, and Gengar

I know they're similar, but i want a balanced team for both. That's why the starters are different, and each team is kinda like the rival has on RBY and FR/LG, very balanced, with the usual fire, water, grass combo. Umbreon's there cuz he PWNs! lol Same with Gengar and Steelix.
 
These teams I'm using are as an in-game team, so my goal was to have a high type coverage:

HeartGold:

Porygon2- Tri Attack, Psychic, Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt.
Scizor- X Scissor, Iron Head, Night Slash, Quick Attack/Swords Dance.
Poliwrath- Waterfall, Ice Punch, Earthquake, Brick Break.
Victreebel- Sludge Bomb, Energy Ball, Sucker Punch, Sleep Powder.
Arcanine- Flamethrower, Thunder Fang, Solar BEam, Extreme Speed.
Dragonite- Dragon Rush, Fly, Dragon Dance, Brick Break/Thunder Punch.


SoulSilver:

Pinsir- X Sissor, Stone Edge, Close Combat, Swords Dance/Earthquake.
Politoed- Surf, Mud Bomb, Ice Beam, Hyper Voice/Hypnosis.
Exeggutor- Energy Ball, Psychic, Ancient Power, Reflect/Sleep Powder.
Ninetails- Flamethrower, Energy Ball, Dark Pulse, Nasty Plot/Hypnosis.
Electabuzz- Thunder Punch, Ice Punch, Cross Chop, Giga Impact (maybe?).
Dragonite- Outrage/ Dragon Rush, Fly, Dragon Dance, Thunder Punch.
 
Current SS team, see Signature

(Pidgeot, Quagsire, [Lake of Rage, Shiny] Gyrados, [From Road block] Snorlax, [originally from the Onyx from the in-game trade at Violet City] Steelix, Ampharos)

Starter: Chikorita (thrown into PC ASAP, then given to Day-Care for the remainder of the time until I beat Red, I got it back at level 48, having gained 41 levels, amazing)

In-Progress NU Team: [from current team] Pidgeot, [also from current team] Quagsire, [Cianwood City giveaway] Shuckle, Raticate, [Lt. Surge's VOLTY, in-game trade] Pikachu, [also from current team] Ampharos (all caught in SS).
 
When my game gets here (i can wait 1-5 more days... i hope) i plan to have
Meganium
Quagsire
Arcanine
Heracross
Espeon
but i can't decide my flying...
 
I roll with Fire-type pokemon. Cyndaquil may be the only option for a Fire-type starter though :(
