6th Gen What's your team?

My first hall of fame team was Sceptile, Swellow, Altaria, Tentacruel, Camerupt, & Mightyena. They were all in the mid to upper 50s or low 60s.

My current team is Quilava, Zigzagoon, Surskit, Wingull, Nuzleaf, & Minun. These guys are all upper 10s to low 20s.

Just got to Ever Grande, about to go through Victory Road...

Swapped Kyogre in for Latias after I got the Eon Flute. I know it's OP but I like to keep it traditional, plus if you're not gonna use a Brave Kyogre in-game when are you gonna use it? Now Glalie is the only team member who wasn't in my original Sapphire team. All of them have been really good actually, including Latias.

My new team is in my sig. I abandoned my monotype in favor of the "Hoenn Champion" theme. So, I guess you can pretend that my team is your rival if you chose to use Blaziken as your starter. :P

Currently, my team in my Alpha Sapphire playthrough is as follows:

- Blaziken (Blazikenite)
- Aggron (Aggronite)
- Salamence
- Manectric (Manectite)
- Mightyena
- Milotic

I will probably stick with this team for the entire playthrough, so also post-game, since I love this team and they are awesome! ^_^

I've been training my Pokemon a lot lately, so a lot of them evolved. I've also obtained a few new Pokemon. But now I'm using more than 6 Pokemon, so now I have to rotate some of my team members.

My current team is:

"image removed"
Combusken (permanent team member)

"image removed"
Lotad (close to learning Giga Drain)

"image removed"
Shiny Metang (got from Mystery Gift, permanent team member)

*pokemonelite2000 image removed*
Sableye

"image removed"
Linoone (for HM's and Pickup)

Rotating members:

All right here's my team.

Swampert

So, how good is the team? Just curious.

Update: Here is more info on it.

Absol: Super Luck, holding the Black Glasses

Not my final team yet

Blaziken
Cosplay Pikachu
Metang (Mystery Gift from Steven) (Temporary) (Will be deposited in my box after it evolves)
Milotic
Latias (Temporary)
Seadra (Temporary) (looking to trade it so it can evolve to Kingdra, then I'll deposit it back in my box 1)

Box 1: Tyrantrum, Gengar, Castform, Mightyena, Skarmory

I had to change my team due to no longer wanting to use ninetales and switching charizard in instead. It is now:
Gyarados (mega)
Espeon
Charizard (mega)
Jolteon (when I get a thunder stone >_>)
Mighteyna (purely using it because I've always used Umbreon)
Sceptile

I dumped Pidgeot since Charizard already has flying covered for me. I would've used more Pokemon from the region but I just don't feel it for a lot of Hoenn pokemon. They aren't my style.

My current team consists of:

"image removed"
Combusken (permanent team member)

"image removed"
Lombre (don't know if permanent or not)

"image removed"
Shiny Metang (got from Mystery Gift, permanent team member)

"image removed"
Linoone (for HM's and Pickup)

Rotating members:

Cosplay Pikachu

My current team is:

Sceptile

Goomy

Pidgeot

Dragonair

Buneary

Sylveon

I'm thinking of replacing Buneary with my Froakie. Really love this team too :3

my initial 6 man team:
Swampert Megastone
Metagross Megastone
Latias Megastone
Delcatty
Venusaur: Bulbasaur PokeBank transfer, no Megastone
Alakazam Megastone

My team after catching Groudon:

Groudon Red Orb
Swampert Megastone
Delcatty
Diancie Megastone
Ampharos Megastone
Venusaur Megastone

Legendary catching team:
Mewtwo Megastone
Xerneas
Venusaur/Delcatty for Sing or StunSpore
Scypher Megastone false Swipe
Raikou ThunderWave
Groudon Red Orb

so in the end my team was Blaziken, Mawile, Manectric, Altaria, Cradily, and Walrein.

Altaria was sort of a last minute choice as I had to decide if I wanted to run a team without the option of fly or not and I chose the lazy option. Manectric really ended up boring me as it did when I played rse all those years ago. Overall loved Mawile as it was my first time using it.

Really happy I went with my old choice of Walrein though sad his moveset is still very narrow.

Should I end up getting Ruby my new team will roughly be

Sceptile, Gardevoir, Aggron, Wailord, not sure on the last two :(

My 'in-game' team ended up being Beautifly, Masquerain, Delcatty, Skarmory, Magcargo, and Latias after I realised she could be used for all the water HMs plus Fly. This was, therefore, a five-member team for the most part, though Latias certainly has the stats (and the team's only mega evolution) to carry a close battle as the last member. I didn't end up keeping to the notion I had of using 3–4 Bug-types, but the team was quite interesting in a nuzlocke-esque manner. Skarmory, owing to its typing and stats, was noticeably the strongest of the fighting members. Magcargo ended up being better than expected (double Water weakness ought to be a nigh-unconditional death sentence in such a wet region, but it didn't end up troubling me). Beautifly's lack of facial expressions makes it a bit creepy in Amie, so I prefer the comparable Vivillon... and sometimes Beautifly was quite useless for a good stretch, but would come into its own at certain points with its Mega/Giga Drain being my only check against Water-types.

Post-game, I'm training the odd thing: Eelektross, Ariados, Lopunny, maybe a Zoroark in time.
Also in the process of raising a first gen theme team to take online or something: Raichu, Porygon, Wigglytuff, Weezing, Dodrio, Vileplume. Porygon's an old favourite of mine, but the rest are things I've never given much if any use.

Having recently beaten the Elite Four rematches, here is my team:

Swampert - Level 63
Nature: Gentle
Ability: Torrent
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Waterfall
-Rain Dance

Swampert was great due to having the best availability in the game and being able to Mega Evolve. The Physical/Special split did make it less useful in the earlygame than in the originals, but when it got moves like Earthquake and Waterfall, it became a great Pokemon, especially when Mega Evolved.

Gardevoir - Level 60
Nature: Gentle
Ability: Trace
-Draining Kiss
-Psychic
-Thunderbolt
-Calm Mind

Gardevoir made up for its poor physical bulk with a combination of Calm Mind and Draining Kiss, and thanks to having Psychic it could be an offensive threat without setting up. Had a rather slow start, but got much more useful after evolving.

Hariyama - Level 63
Nature: Brave
Ability: Guts
-Earthquake
-Close Combat
-Stone Edge
-Belly Drum

Hariyama was great. Being a traded Pokemon, it leveled up faster than any of my other Pokemon in the earlygame, and helped make up for its poor exp group in the lategame. It was good as a Makuhita and became even better as a Hariyama thanks to its rather early evolution. Having Belly Drum was a somewhat risky strategy but in most cases it had the bulk to take hits even at half HP.

Manectric - Level 59
Nature: Bold
Ability: Lightning Rod
-Thunder Wave
-Thunderbolt
-Thunder
-Flamethrower

Manectric was the most useful of my Pokemon IMO despite being the lowest leveled (not counting Groudon who was just added for when I went to rematch the E4) due to being able to Mega Evolve and cripple pretty much any threat to my team with Thunder Wave. It got off to quite a slow start thanks to having very few Special moves, but eventually proved to be extremely useful.

Skarmory - Level 61
Nature: Bashful
Ability: Sturdy
-Slash
-Steel Wing
-Fly
-Roost

Skarmory flew me everywhere before I got the Eon Flute and while its offensive stats weren't great, it took all of the physical hits that my other Pokemon were unable to. It would have been nice if it got some better moves, but who really uses Skarmory for its offensive capabilities?

Groudon - Level 49
Nature: Quiet
Ability: Drought
-Lave Plume
-Rest
-Stone Edge
-Precipice Blades

Groudon, as I said before, was only added for when I rematched the Elite 4, but was surprisingly useful since the AI was terrible at dealing with Primal Groudon, and its absurdly good stats made up for the level disadvantage. Also, catching this thing was hell.

Honestly, this is probably one of the best teams I've used for a while. I did use the Exp Share, but I was underleveled throughout the game due to skipping some trainers. Despite having a level disadvantage, this team got through most battles with ease, only really having trouble with absurd battles like the one against Primal Groudon. What really made me love this team was that it managed to beat the Elite 4 rematches with a 15+ level disadvantage. I will admit that part of it was due to my experience with doing runs in which I'm extremely underleveled, as well as luck and some healing, but it's a pretty big achievement nonetheless, especially considering the natures, IVs, EVs, and moves of my Pokemon weren't anywhere close to being perfect.

My team is in my signature below - all I need is a Water type, and I'm leaning towards Kingdra, but I already have a Dragon in Altaria and M-Sceptile (I might use M-Altaria though), so I'm not entirely sold, although Kingdra is one of my all-time favorites. Maybe Whishcash to cover Ground?

Been going kinda slow. Just defeated Norman, on my way to Fortree now.

Team: (in rotation)

Feathers the Combusken (M) lv 33
Chester the Lombre (M) lv 31
Hime the Gardevoir (F) lv 30
Guy the Loudred (M) lv 31
VioIet the Aron (F) lv 30
Taffy the Drifblim (M) lv 30
Bo the Seviper (F) lv 29

Hime was really struggling before it evolved. Kirlia just can't take a hit.

My plan is that whoever misses out on challenging the elite four, will be used a lot in the delta episode.
