She had blocked him so swiftly with her elven blade, that he hadn't even seen it. She could see everthing before it happened, especially with her senses so keen and fresh with the morning. She had never really needed these senses in battle since she had never really been in battle, but she knew it was necessary.

She did not strike at Johann, but stood at the ready. It was then that Tsubasa stepped in, transforming into his human form as he stood between the two. His expression was cold, and firm, and he stared Johann down with a near-snarl playing at his mouth.

"That's quite enough," he told the boy. "You're a terrible teacher to draw a swrod on her, where she trusted you enough to not draw hers at first. I'll take over from here. Go and do something to fulfill your own selfish wishes. I know you don't want to be here with her."

He turned away and guided Skye off a little ways away, not even bothering to look back.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Exodus said calmly looking at the fallen angel. "Did you even consider the lessen Johann was trying to teach my daughter before you stepped in? Now please step away from her, and return to your bird form." Exodus asked nicely.

"It's ok, if she doesn't want to learn my lessen, then she's as stubburn as a human. There's no way she can bve half angel." I said turning to leave.

"Ah, my dear boy, stay right were you are. You two will continue your training." Exodus said.

I sighed, quite disgusted at the fact, I didn't even harm her, and I was actually surprised Exodus guessed my lessen. I then, since he was my master, turned around and waited for the guy to let go of Skye to continue the training seesion.

"I think I'll stay this way, thanks," Tsubasa spat, looking rather angry.

Skye stood by his side, looking very much the defiant teenager. Exodus may have been her true father, but Tsubasa had been with her every step of the way, and she trusted his judgement more than anything.

"Kick his butt," Tsubasa said, throwing a nasty glance at Johann.

She blinked a few times, suprised at how Tsubasa had acted. She watched him stalk over to a tree, where his hand rested on the hilt of his own blade.

"Fine," she agreed, and looked back over at Johann, sitting herself in a strong back stance. Her swift blade rested comfortably in a defensive position. "Whenever you're ready."

"Now the drow side of me finds it more amusing if you don't find with weapons!" Exodus said smiling using a simple disarm spell the rid them of their weapons. "Ok. You may begin." Exodus said smiling with amusement.

Johann threw his fist back, with the other hand in a defense position, and he leapt forward to attack Skye. His face very calm for all the anger and resentment he had towards Skye. In midair I realized, She can see this coming! Then stopped the attack, completely confused about how to go along with attacking and defending.

Then I came apon the only answer I could find...speed. I would have to attack her with the most surprising moves as fast as I could. So I went with that in mind, as I quickly grabbed her wrist and brought my leg underneath her back leg, since it had all the pressure on it. ANd swiped her legs quckly from underneath her.

"You're forgetting that I'm half-elf!" she managed to exclaim as Johann tried to knock her off her feet. She launched herself into the air, spreading the fingers on her trapped hand to increase her ability to resist the grip, and pulled hard on the arm that Johann held. It was enough to release his grip on her, and she now stood at his back.

A break-neck speed, she sent a strong chop to his neck, ready to follow up with a kick, but her palm stopped just an inch away from his jugular vein, her face tough and concentrated.

"You'd be dead right about now," she told him, and stepped away.

She was fed up with fighting, and made ready to leave.

A sharp pain came to my neck, but I grinded his teeth and resisted the urge to faint. i got to my feet and forced a laugh out of my mouth, "I'm not your adverage human, either." I then stood completely up, and shook the pain, even though I couldn't bend my neck in that direction, for fear of pain.

Exodus gave a loud cough, to signal for her daughter to turn around, cause as stubburn as I was I was in a flying round house kick, and made contact with her side. After I made sure it made contact I stood back up and said, "That should leave a bruise." Then I shifted myself into a stance I saw Exodus use, when he was practicing.

I senced a fight going on at the camp, and had to resist the urge to go over and torment whoever the loser would be... Best to stay with the dragon, my odds of getting killed were quite lower...

ooc: This next post promises to be long and very interesting. When I first created Donovan he was not only a human. He had a secret heredity that I had decided to not include in his bio. I've decided now to bring that heredity to light, while at the same time proving my character isn't so ** hum like I was beginning to think him.

ic: At length of wandering through the forest I came across a small stone temple. it looked abandoned to me and I thought it a good place to rest for a while. however, once I drew close I noticed a small woman in a sage's wear by the front door. I approached cautiously and greeted teh woman.

"Hello. My name is Donovan Easterly. I seek shelter in this temple. Are you its gaurdian?" I asked politely.

"They call me Luna's Aura, and I am the temple's sole proprietor. You are welcome to rest here for a while Donovan, but I sense you seek more than just rest. Perhaps I may be able to help you with what you seek."

"What do you mean?"

"I am a seer of the senses and I can feel that you seek to reawaken your soul. You have a power over magic that inadvertently distances you from teh world. You feel like you're losing touch with your emotions due to this and wish to 'reinstate your humanity' so to speak."

"This is true. How do you know this?" I asked her. "You seem familiar to me."

"Like I said, I'm a seer of the senses." She smiled. " I have something here that may help you. Within this temple is a large glowing pearl called 'The Spirit Gem'. It has the power to awaken every part of your soul and strengthen it, allowing you to be in touch with every part of yourself."

"That is just the sort of thing I need!" I said excitedly. "May I use this Spirit Gem?" I asked.

"You may. But I must warn you. The Spirit Gem hs a soul of its own and will not aid you if it does not find you worthy. It will test you during the process. If you do not pass the test, it will absorb your soul and leave your body an empty shell."

"I can take this challenge!" I said defiantly.

"Very well. Follow me." She led me through a number of halls before we ended up in a large chamber. It felt cold and I shivered. "There it is." I looked where she indicated and ona pedistal I saw the Spirit Gem. It was a bright glowing sphere about a foot in diameter. It sent off a soft blue light that fille dth room. we both walked up to it and she turned to face me.

"To use the Spirit Gem, you must place both your hands onto it. It will cause severe pain and it will do anything it can to throw you off. If you manage to keep both hnads on teh orb for two minutes, then you have passed its test and it will work its gift on you. Do you understand?" I nodded and took a deep breath as I readied myself. Then I clasped the Spirit Gem with both hands and prepared for what was to come.

But nothing could have prepared me for the pain that surged through my body. I cried out in a roar of agony as I collapsed to my knees, my hands still touching the gem. Lightning shot down my arms and I gritted my teeth against the unbearable pain it caused. Every nerve in my body was on fire, and I felt I couldn't take much more. Suddenly teh pain was replaced with a pleasure feeling and I felt some strange force glide through my body. everything felt numb, but I managed to hear the sage say " Congratulations. You passed its test. I had a feeling you would."

ooc: And here comes the plot twist. :D

ic: I stood up, amazed at teh strange feelings I was having. But something didn't feel right. The emotions of love and happiness, I couldn't feel them. All I felt was teh frustration and anger of the lst few days return to me. "Something is not right." I siad to Luna's Aura. "This isn't me at all."

" You don't know how wrong you are." the sagely voice was replaced with a familiar malevolence. I quickly turned to face her jsut in time to block a pucnh to teh face I backed off, the anger I was feeling growing stronger. " How dare you impersonate a sage! What did you do to me Moonlight?!" She grinned and the sage clothes fell off, revealing Moonlight in her werewolf form.

"I did nothing to you. It was teh Spirit Gem. I told you it awakens your soul and I did not lie. This rage and frustration is a part of you, just like it is a part of me."

"how dare you compare the two of us?!" i roared. "i'll show you!" I charged towards her with a raised fist, preparing to strike her with it. She calmly raised a hand and suddenly I couldn't move. I was surrounded by a blue aura that bound me to my spot.

'What did you do?!"

"i figured you would recognize your own spell." She scoffed.

"What do you mean?"

"I was hiding nearby when you told eclipse of that spell you so generously left inside of her. That spell that controls her because she's a demon. I've studied magic myself. Did you know that spells like that leave behidn a copy of themselves in teh caster, allowing the spell to ID so to speak the controller? When you used teh Spirit Gem, you passed on a part of that code to me, since it is my Gem after all. i used it to bind you, in your own demon trap. And by controlling you," she began to grin again, bareing her wolven teeth. " I control her."

"How can my own spell bind me when I'm not a demon?!" I roared in anger and confusion. Moonlight tisked while shaking her head slowly. "poor, diluted mage. You've spent too much time with good company. I suppose I should explain it allfrom teh top. You see, you are a demon."

"You lie! My parents are both full blooded humans and have nothing to do with your kind!"

"That's partially true. You see, those caretakers of yours are indeed full humans. But those aren't your birth parents. you where born to a couple comprised of a demon mother and a human father. After you were born, your father was killed by mother's parents and she left you with those humans you call parents to protect you from her family's wrath. She left a note with you to explain the circumstances. you should feel blessed that they did not drown you or leave you to the wild when they foudn out you were a half breed. But I suppose they new their human way of life would snuff out your demon side over time. If it weren't for my Gem you would have never known you wer half demon."

" More lies!" I said disbelievingly. " How would you know these things should they have actually happened?"

"Because. I'm supposed to know my family... brother."

With the uttering of that last word I had to fight the urge to puke. To be related to someone so evil was worse than not knowing myself.

"You lie." I said in a quaking voice.

"oh. come now brother." SHe cooed as she walked around behind me, whispering in my ear. " How can you say that to your own sister? Haven't you ever thougt about why you were stronger than any other mage your age? Demon magic. Did you ever wonder why you were able to sense Eclipse before she revealed herself to you so many days ago now? Family bonds. The only reason you and your friends won that last fight was because little brother and I threw you the fight. We didn't wan't to kill our oldest sibling you know. little brother was just killed because he was being too careless. His fault." she siad with no remorse for her fallen brother.

"I refuse to believe this nonsense." I declared. She placed her furry arms around my shoulders and clasped them in front of me.

"Belive what you like, but that won't change the fact that you are completely under my control."

"Get your hands off me!"

"Make me." She taunted. I growled angrily, but I knew there was nothing I could do.

"You forget brother, you are completely under my control now. Whatever I want you to do, you do it, whatever I feel like doing to you, you can't fight it. you can only endure it." She licked my earlobe to emphasize her point. I shiverd in repulsion. she chuckled at how uncomfortable I was.

"What do you want with me?" I said grimly.

"Let me pose a question to you. What do you say to forgeting your friends and joining me in destroying humanity and having all the lucious fun we can manage?"

"You have got to be crazy." I said simply. her arms moved in a way that had let me know she had shrugged her shoulders.

"I figured you'd feel that way. your demon side has yet to fully reincorporate itself into your body. but don't worry." She said, turning my head so that I could see her wolven face over my right shoulder. " As time passes, you'll become even more of a demon and once that happens you will start to see things my way." She placed a small kiss on my cheek and again I had to fight the urge to hurl.

"You are one sick, perverted creature." I informed her.

"I know." She said playfully as she slowly walked back around in front of me. "It's time to have some fun now. We're going to pay a little visit to your friends. I'd like to see how well they'd fair with you incapacitated."

" IF you ever touch any of my friends, I'll filay you to the bone and feed your flesh to teh dragon!" I roared. I couldn't even remember saying it. It had just happened, and it greatly disturbed me.

"Well, well." She said, sounding impressed. " It sounds like you're becoming a demon already. you've already got the dirty evil threats down." She then laughed in a way that made my blood run cold. "but seriously, I have no intention of fightng your friends. My plan is really quite simple. once we get there you will be held for ransom. They get you back in exchange for allowing me to convert one of the angels into a demon. And since they most likely won't let that happen, I always have a plan B. I will force you to activate your detainment spell, and in this way I will control my sister through you. I will then force both her and you to attack your friends, holding them down so that I may convert everyone with angel heritage into a demon. And your friends will have a choice, either they let themselves be overrun, or they kill you. In my case it's a win/ win situation." She laughed again.

"You'll never get away with it." I said defiantly.

"We'll see brother, we'll see. Come." She ordered. "we have angels to convert." She began to walk out of the chamber. At first I didn't move but then with a motion of her furred hand I was forced to stumble along after her.

ooc: So how's that for surprise heritage and an interesting story plot twist? :D

OOC: Holy novel!! O_o Nice job, Pogi!! ^_^ It seems that our characters are not so different after all. ^_^

And RM, Skye didn't hit Johann...she stopped about an inch away from him...sorry if my post confused you. ^_^

IC: Skye shrugged off the pain, and continued to walk away.

"You're a jerk," she snapped at Johann, walking over to Tsubasa. "And a terrible teacher. I wouldn't train with you if my life depended on it, Johann."

Tsubasa's expression matched Skye's perfectly. He put a reassuring hand on her shoulder, and walked away from both Exodus and Johann. Tsubasa transformed into his bird form, reading Skye's thoughts.

"They don't get it," Skye said, when Tsubasa had taken to the air with her on his back. "They don't get how it makes me sick to fight, even if I'm skilled enough to beat an opponent."

Indeed, her face was much more pale than it had been earlier, and she clutched her stomach as it ached. It wasn't from the roundhouse kick either. She felt ill, like she had the flu, but as time passed, it got better.

Tsubasa landed in a small clearing, a little ways from their camp site. He transformed into his human form.

"I wish I could just find my mother on my own," she growled in frustration. "Anything would be better than traveling with them..."

Her eyes traveled towards the camp, and she scowled.

"there they are." Moolight whispered. I watched in pained silence as my friends wnet about their business. I wanted to shout out, to warn them, to do something. But I couldn't Moonlight had ordered me to be quiet a few miels back after I had annoyed her with threats and thanks to my own spell, I couldn't go against her will, no matter how much I wanted to.

"We'll introduce ourselves come nighttime." She said. " It will make the hunt so much more fun!"

OOC: Hope this is okay, Pogi. I'll make it as vague as I can so it won't be powerplaying...just lemme know if you need something changed, and I'll edit. ^_^

IC: Skye sriffened, her eyes alert and frightened. Flashes of what seemed like memories were passing through her mind. They weren't memories though. She had never seen them before...

Tsubasa seemed to straighten up as well, sensing her anxiety.

"What is it?" he asked worriedly, his strong hands on her shoulders.

Skye watched the images flashing by, finally resting on one final scene of her face, eyes closed, mouth open, as if asleep, but there was a cold, sinking feeling in her stomach.

"I'm going to die..." she said in sudden realization, too shocked for tears.

ooc: Not powerplaying at all. It's foreshadowing, good storytelling skills. :D we had agreed to this prior anyway, so it can't be called powerplaying.

ic:Moonlight sniffed suddenly. She heard someone crying nearby. she walked of through the bushes and forced me to follow. we eventually reached the edge of a clearing. In the clearing I could see Skye with her her shapeshifting pokemon. SHe appeared to be crying for soem reason.

"This is too perfect." Moonlight growled in delight. " That elf's daughter is all alone and by herself. This will be an easy hunt." She then walked out into teh clearing to confront Skye. I desperately didn't want to go, but I found myself walking beside her. The last thing I wanted was to be seen alongside this menace of a werewolf demon. I could only hope she saw the blue aura around me and understand I wasn't doing this of my own free will.

Skye wiped her eyes as they started to leak tears. She gasped when Donnovan and another person approached. Donnovan didn't look quite himself...

"D-Donnovan?" she squeaked, feeling fear begin to grip her. She drew her sword, and Tsubasa drew his as well, stepping in front of her.

"What do you want?" he asked darkly, looking very defensive.

Skye hefted her elven blade easily in her hands. She was ready for whatever came their way...

"Hello child." Moonlight smiled, not rally afraid of Skye's weapon. " I'd like you to meetmy brother. I believe you've met before." I flinched as I imagined what sort of reaction Moonlight's statements must have had on Skye. moonlight was obviously trying to peg me a a badguy. She wanted me to suffer from being shuned jsut as much as form being made to destroy my friends.

ooc: I ahve some vacuumaing to do. I'll check back every now and then, but for the next few minutes I won't be posting as often.

OOC: That's all right...I'm a pretty patient RPer! ^_^

IC: Skye stepped back.

"Your brother?" she said in disbelief.

Tsubasa advanced on both of them, his sword in an offensive position. Something was strange about his blade though. The sharp edge was reversed. It was directed at him instead. The blunt side faced the opponent. (Sorry to the creators of Kenshin...I just realized that I copied the idea.....)

Skye stepped out from behind Tsubasa, feeling wary.

"Donnovan..." she said cautiously, warning in her tone. "What's going on?"

"Yes, dear brother, why don't you tell her all about it?" Moonlight said mockingly. I tried to open my mouth, but I found the spell still had my mouth bound shut.

"Oh, that's right, you can't tell her because you are completely under my control!" She laughed like a maniac at her own joke. I glared evily at her but found there was nothing else I could do.

ooc: I believe Moonlight was a werewolf with demon heritage when she as first described. Jsut to provide a bit of something for your character to notice.

OOC: Congrats on you next post, Pogi! It'll be number 1000!! ^_^

IC: Tsubasa grimaced, and launched himself foward. Skye hung back, clutching her sword tightly. She began to breathe faster, her eyes wide. These were the scenes from her vision she had.

While Skye stood petrified, Tsubasa had Moonlight by the throat, looking down at her menacingly.

"I'll finish this now," he told her. His sword touched her stomach threateningly. "Demons have no place in this world!"

"Donovan, energy stream!" Moonlight called out. I suddenly found myself raising my arms. I shot a powerful energy stream towards Tsubasa and sent him flying a fair distance off. I cursed inwardly and wished that Tsubasa was just a bit quicker with his attack. If he was, he would have freed me from this cursed spell.

Tsubasa hit a tree, and remained still. Even though he was an angel, being on earth made him suceptible to attacks. Skye cried out, sending a fleeting glance in his direction, but knew that she had to focus on protecting herself.

She launched herself at Moonlight, her blade poised for attack, enraged that she had struck Tsubasa. Her heart was pounding in her ears. She had seen the strange blue aura around Donnovan, and knew that it was nothing good. It didn't take long for her to put two and two together.

Being half-elf, and light on her feet, she could easily dodge any attack that came her way. Coupled with the ability of foresight, she could see the attacks before they came. The only problem is that she had not mastered the technique enough to take her focus off one attacker. She only hoped that Donnovan could resist his entrapment for as long as it took her to destroy the demon.

Skye let out a cry, a strong, spirit-bearing cry that echoed off the trees. She jabbed her sword inwards towards Moonlight's middle, grimacing at the thought of killing her...

My energy sheild stopped her attack. Moonlight grinned Maliciously at Skye. I gave Skye an apologetic look, as I forced her back with the shield. I would have loved to see Moonlight run through, but I was no longer in control of my own body. "My brother here once said that Weapons don't work well on the magic weilding capabilities of a Demon." Moonlight grinned. " And he was right." For once I wished I wasn't right.
