"You scared your friend away." Moonlight said plainly. I yanked her close. making sure she got the idea that I was in control this time.

"Now you listen and you listen good. I'm your brother, I get that. Being related to Eclipse is actually kinda cool. But I will not tolerate youhurting my friends. NOw I'll let you live. This time. But if your so much as within sight of my friends ever again, there wil be no way to describe how painful and how slow your death will be, whether we're family or not."

"Ooh, big bro thinks hes a stud." She said in a sultry voice, running a hand across my chest. "okay bro, you win. I'll be good." I roughly let her go and after she readjustedherself, she began to walk off. Afte she wa about ten feet away, she turned to me smiling.

"you know Donovan, we're only half siblings. Not fully related, if you ever want to get together with somone..." She winked at me. My demon side was interested by the offer, but I was not about to let something that had alin dormant for 17 years run my life.

"Get out of here." I growled. "before I changed my mind." Moonlight shrugged, still smiling.

"okay. THe offer will stay standing." She then turned into her wolf form and ran off .

"That is one Sick, perverted freak." I reiterated.

ooc: Made a werewolf act like Catwoman! :D Hope no one minds that. I found her to be an intriguing character. ANd I didn't jsut want to kill her off. it would be good to have a few villians running around. Samuel was killed way too fast, and there really aren't any other villians, you know? Gives a since of conflict, which is always needed in a good story.

OOC: Very nice... I'm interested in what you have planned.

IC: Celeste returned to the campsite, sinking down wearilly. She pulled her legs to her, cold. She knew it wasn't the weather, she was cold inside. She couldn't understand what was going on. Her insides felt like ice, her powers seemed distant.

Her body suddenly glowed a brilliant white. The angel felt a funny tingling all over her body. She felt a strange jerking sensation all around her and opened her eyes slowly.

Nothing seemed different, everyone at the camp seemed to be the same. She turned to hope and nearly shrieked.

Hope's flaming mane and tail were no longer red and orange. They were light blue, darker blue along the bottom. There was also a strange colored Togetic sitting atop her Pokemon friend.

Hello, little Celeste. Are you feeling better? the small creature "asked".

Celeste paused, the cold gone, her powers seemingly radiating from her. I do, actually. I feel better than I ever have in my li- after life.

That's because the Good Lord has decided to increase your powers. You'll need it. And I am here to guide you. My name is Grace, and I'm pleased to meet you.

Celeste looked down at her body to find her clothes had gone. They had been replaced with true angel attire, a flowing white gown which made her skin seem much tanner than it was in reality. Her wings had been coated along the edges with silver, and they seemed to glitter in the light.

She smiled and sat back down, enjoying the warmth that spread through her.

With Moonlight gone, I still had one last task ahead of me. And that was the taming of the dmeon inside. ALready it was speaking to me, urging me to do things I would never do.

ooc: This next part is essentialy a conversation between my human side and demon side. If anyone has seen when Golem had a conflict with himself in LoTR, you know what it'll be like.

"Kill someone." My demon side taunted. "No. Why don't you cause some destruction? You know it will be fun. I would have more fun traveling with my friends. You don't need them. YOu have all the power you need right here to do what you want. But I would be alone, and that is something I will not allow. I can make you stronger. You should be happy. I will never find happiness if I fall before you. Why resist? It would be some much easier if you jsut gave in to me. Because I believe I still ahve a chance in this life, and you won't ruin it!" With that statement, my wings began to retract. But they weren't jsut folding. They were slowly sinking back into my back. " What are you doing?! I'm burying you back in my soul where you wil cause no harm. You can't do this! I am stronger than you! You are only stronger if I let you be. You cannot get rid of me! I know. Then why do you bother fighting me? Why won't you just admit I can give you anything you want? Because you can't give me my friends." My wings were almost gone now. I could feel the demon inside losing, sinking lower inside my soul. " You will neverbe rid of me. I won't rid you, I will use you. You cannot use me! You a part of me, not the other way around. I will use you as I see fit. Curse you! Begone from my mind, demon. You are no longer welcome there." The urgings of the demon where no longer present. My wings disappeared into my back, and the demon blade was now my normal arm. My demon side was now a dangerous weapon that would only do as I said. I felt giddy from the mental conflict, but I was me again. I could feel the Demon stil inside me, but he could no longer influence me as long as I remembered that I was in control. Ironically, I found myself greatly in tune with the world around me. Having another spiritual presence of myself in side me put me back in tune with my emotions and with the world I lived on. THe quest I had originally gone out to fulfill was now complete. "Too bad it came with such a heafty price." i said grimly. I turne dback towards camp, and began to trudge slowly back towards the others. I could only imagine wht sort of things I would face once I returned.

I stopped for a moment, sencing the conflict, and wihtout warning felt warm blood start flowing from my wing again. I decided i couldn't stay, i didn't belong here. I broke into a run, heading into the forest...

I walked back to the campsite, it didn't seem like my battle to fight, so I just stayed out of the way and decided to hunt for something to eat.Finding a few small rattattas but I didn't feel like killing a pokemon for food. I found a cave, though, and was weary about going inside it. But my stomach growl relentlessly so I decided to be an adventurous soul and go on my own into the darkness of the cave.

The caave seemed to go on forever, twising and turning going deeper and deeper into the earth. I had read about this is one of my books, a cave like this, where it twisted and turned headed down and down. But I couldn't put my finger on what creature lived here. Sure enough it was an orks cave. " Just my luck." I said running the way I came for dear life, as two of the ugliest creatures came running after me, luckily they weren't those huge orks, just small burrowing orks, well not really small, I'd say about 6'0" at least, but they weren't giant.

Once out of the tunnel, I searched for any sign of camp, but found myself running aimlessly, until my hand bumped the hilt of my blade. "Why am I running?" I said stopping.
"Only because there's two 6'0" orks coming after me, looking for their next meal!" I said running again as the orks came running after me. "All I wanted was some lunch!" I said to myself as I came to a clearing, the same clearing were we fought the Drow.

When I got to the other end, my feet were sore from running as fast as I could. I could feel big blisters forming on the bottom of my foot. So I did the only thing a 15 year old, who was tired from running, would do. "PLEASE DON'T HURT ME! You don't want to eat me! Look I'm just...125 pounds of....muscle..." I said realizing that wasn't the tight idea. *I really taste bad see!" I said biting my forearm, as they grew nearer. "Yuck! You don't want me. No no! You want a nice tasty..." I said as I pulled out a rabbit that I killed. "Rabbit! Yes, you want a rabbit, they're very delicious." But it didn't work they kept on coming, then I did the only thing left to do, even though I was still breathing heavily, I took out my blade and got to my feet.

I was on my way back to camp when I noticed a cleareing nearby. Exodus was being assaulted by two orcs and without thinking, I ran into the clearing, all ready charging up my magic. I exended my hands and fired magic blasts at teh orcs. i was a bit surprised at how easily I coud fall back into being just a regular mage.

"How many **** fights can these people find for themselves?" I muttered, hearing what sounded like another fight starting. I followed the sound, and noticed Johann getting ready to fight a pair of orcs. I decided to wait, he'd be able to see me, if he wanted the help I'd give it to him.

I looked desperatly around, finding only Eclipse to help me. "Help..." I said in a pathetic voice as the orcs came rumbling faster and faster, nearer and nearer. I gripped my blade with two hands, still completely out of breath, so very hungry. "Well this is it, did even get to say good bye to Crystal, now isn't that a shame." I said smiling with a winded chuckle. "Well that's what you get for being a human." I sighed. Then gathered all my energy and leapt forward to the orc on the right trying to stab in in the heart. But he brought his club around and hit me in the side hard. I got back up and turns toward Eclipse, now getting it through my head that she could help. "Eclipse, can you take care of one, I think I can take down one." I said then leapt forward again as I parried the blow of the second one. This time I landed and side stepped the club of the first one and stabbed him.

OOC: Yeah I know, but Johann is tired, he did see it, he just now saw Eclipse, it'll take him awhile to notice what's really happening! XD

IC: "What!?" I said as I stumbled back in surprise of the assualts. Although I didn't take the time to see who it was, nope, I was in my petrified form again, just standing there too afraid to do anything.

Until I got the nerve to jump forward and finish off the orc with the broken shoulder. As he yelled in pain his comrade tryed to run away.

I targeted the one Johann had indicated, but before launching an attack, I remembered that my wings had turned pale. Knowing this, at least I didn't waste my own time. I got a black feather out of my pocket, and muttering a spell under my breath, dropped it, as the orc I was targeting fell to the ground, writheling in pain for a moment, then was still.

With one orc dow, I wuickly jumped up onto teh back of the other one and shot a blast straight into it through the whol in it's shoulder. The blat from teh inside caused it to explode, sending blood and guts everywhere. "now that was just digusting." i gagged, as I got up. splattered in blood and organ flesh..

OOC: sorry it's taking me so long to respond, my comp's being slower than molasses in december.

IC: Knowing that the job was done, and that no further help was nesecary, I backed off and waited.

Wiping the blood from my sword onto my shirt I said adrenline still pumping throuhg my veins, "Yeah..."

"Now I know never to explore dark caves again." I said not smiling cause I was being dead serious about not going into caves. I reseathed my sword and then turned to the two that helped me. "Thanks I would have died if it weren't for you two." I said with a smiling and a sigh of relief.

"Um..." I said to Donnovan. "Why do you care so much for the half elf?" I said not to be mean, but out of curiousity, maybe...if he gave me a good reason, I could learn to get along with Skye.

I stayed silent, as blodd was now along the bottom of my wing, adding an extremly scary effect, and assisted by the fact the blood was still dripping...

"Eclipse, you should go to Exodus to have that healed!" I said turning to her, not knowing that his healing arts couldn't help her.

I then listened to Donnovan and his explanation. "...." I was about to open my mouth to say something, but then it slipped my mind. "Oh...well let's go see if Exodus is feeling anybetter." I said trying to find what I was going to say.

I then turned to both of them, and said, "Orcs are nasty things. But I'm sure they're good eatin'. Could you guys help me take this one back to camp?" I then waited to see if they would be willing to help.

I had to resist the urge to blow Johann sky-high out of pure annoyance (though, it probably would have been fun to watch) and instead said "Are you sure that's wise? didn't Exodus say something about only getting things that could be hauled around without much trouble?"

now, if only I had a good enough excuse to blow them both sky-high, not only would it be considerably funny, it'd be a nice way to blow off the anger I had built up.
