When worlds collide!

Crystal allowed a single tear fall from her eyes and afterwards, closed her eyes. She felt happy that Skye was alright and because of Celeste's words. She could hardly feel her wounds on her, relieving her, but she knew it was still there. She smiled softly and before she knew it, she was fast asleep in the older angel's arms.

"Thank...you." She mumbled, still fast a sleep.

Sora flew beside Celeste and spoke to her in her mind. "My fellow angel," she 'said' in a very worried tone. "If it isn't any trouble, might you heal my little Crystal? She had been in so much already."

Celeste closed her eyes in concentration, mending the skin and wounds on the young angel.

Holding the small child in her arms, Celeste looked to the Altaria. Fellow angel? she said, confused. What do you mean?

Exodus, who had gone to get some lunch, since it seemed like they were staying there, came back. His face white as he saw Skye's dead body. He turned to me, I just sat against a wall, completely petrfied. Exodus went over to SKye's body and knelt down. Tears fell silently as he muttered, "I have no one left...I'm alone in this world..." He just laid his head on Skye's chest and weeped silently to himself.

"Elves....cry?" I asked myself but my voice was almost inaudible, not even Exodus' ears could pick it up. I just stood there, now on my feet. "How could I let such a thing happen before my own eyes!? How could I be so weak as to just stand by and let this happen!?" I asked myself, now realizing what Skye meant to this group, what she meant to Exodus, and realized the truth of why I was training.

I turned to Crystal and Celeste, I then raced over there and said, "She's not..." I took a big swallow and said, "dead...is...she?"

"I' am a full angel, like you, and Crystal is my little sister. Our mother had called me from heaven to take care of her. Mother did not want her to get hurt, she didn't want little Crystal to die the same way that happened to...me. Please don't tell her." Sora said.

She wanted to show Celeste her true form, but she was far to weak. She thought she remembered seeing her in heaven, but she wasn't sure. She glanced at Crystal, who was now healed and back at Celeste.

"Thank you for healing her."

Seeing Johann, her little sister's close friend, she wanted to tell him that Crystal was alright, but she was afraid to tell anyone else her secret.

"Since I am a demon, healing form an angel is futile. the wound is not fatal, though I'll be in pain beyond imagination for quite a while" I said, not caring that Celeste was no longer around. I was considerably certian she'd be able to hear me. I looked at my wing, and observed as it stopped bleeding, but my wings were a pale ghostly white as a result. but this simply ensured that my death would not occur, not yet, but the pain will continue.

Exodus pressed his hand against Eclipses' wings and said slowly his eyes still sagged from crying, he had finally pulled himself together long enough to think of everyone else. He then began to heal the demons wings and said trying to sound light hearted so he wouldn't look like he cared for anything, "Second time, I've healed you. one of these days you're going to have to owe me." He left out a weak chuckle at what he said as he finished the job.

Feeling Crystals skin was still warm, I knew she wasn't dead, but I didn't know how bad the wound was. I picked up a pebble and cursed out loud to it, I then threw it as hard as I could and as high as I could trying to get it as far as I could into the lake. "If I wasn't so weak...if I wasn't so weak, I could have stopped this whole thing! Curse my weakness!" I screamed when I made sure I was out of earshot, and threw pebble after pebble with the same hatred and resentment towards myself.

my wings glowed black for a moment, before totally rejecting the heal. "A demon has to go through his or her pain. My own anger mixed with pain is forcing my abilities to make sure I can't be healed." I said darkly. It looked like my suspicions were confirmed. I had to watch my back, my trust already got me peirced through the wing, it'd only be a matter of time before somebody actually did give me a fatal wound.

Celeste looked down at Crystal, then at the angel who was her sister.

Your secret is safe with me, I understand the hope to not have another die the same way you have. I felt that with Skye, but I failed to save her.

A tear formed in the corner of her eye and she swept it away.

Everyone was around me was mourning, and it all made me feel even more ashamed. I figured sooner or later they would come down on me, reject me and possibly even kill me. If Moonlight hadn't forced to me become what I was, nothing bad would have happened. The whole ordeal was Moonlight's fault...

I couldn't fight it any more. The demon side wanted out, it wanted destruction. And my human side was weak from guilt and wanted revenge. As I stood, my eyes now glowing red, I could only think of hunting down Moonlight and making her pay. " MOONLIGHT!" I roared angrily in a voice that did not sound like My own. I lifted up of the ground a foot or two and used my wings to fly at unbelievable speeds through the trees in the direction Moonlight had gone. She would pay for making me hurt my friends.

Celeste felt Donnovon take flight, and she knew she had to stop him.

She layed Crystal on the gound gently, not waking the small child.

She then took off herself, Hope's hooves pounded the ground as she raced to catch up to Donnavon.

"Her blood will flow" I heard myself say as the trees went by in a blur." for causing such sorrow. She will pay." I began to sense her demon aura and knew she wasn't that far ahead. I wouldn't be long now till I caught up with her. I sped up, eager to exact my revenge.

Skye watched Celeste leave her, and looked back at Tsubasa. He appeared to be frightened, if anything. A white light in the sky had grown stronger, and soon, Skye found herself no longer of the earth.

A woman stood before them, her fair hair and skin looking very much like Skye's. Her face shape and build was a lot less angular, and softer looking. She glided towards them on large, white wings, and wore a simple white dress that cascaded past her toes. Skye could swear she saw a tear escape the woman's eye.

"Skye..." the woman said, coming to kneel at her feet. She took the girl's hands in her own, and smiled at her. "It makes me so happy to finally see your face, but your time here will be brief."

The woman, Skye's mother, looked at Tsubasa, with an expression that the boy was not expecting. He was kneeling before her, his wings folded, and his eyes cast downward.

"You have fought so well..." she told him, placing her hand on his head. "But I'm afraid Skye will have to learn to fight as well."

Out of thin air, she drew the staff that Exodus had given to Skye, and handed it to her.

"You must learn how to control this power," she said to Skye gently. "In it, is the power of love. How you use that power is your choice. It can manifest itself in many ways."

Skye nodded, unable to speak.

"My dear child," her mother said, touching Skye's face. "Your father...please be more patient with him."

The angel looked away over her shoulder for a moment. She smiled faintly, and turned back to Skye and Tsubasa.

"Your time is not now," she told Skye gently. "Now go...and we will meet again some day."

Tsubasa took Skye's hand, ready to lead her back to the world, back to her body. Skye's mother kissed her daughter's forehead gently, and placed her fingers over the spot she had kissed, closing her eyes.

"I love you very much. Please be sure to tell your father that I love him too. I think sometimes he needs to be reminded," she told Skye in a rather fond voice, and Tsubasa led her out of the light, and back to earth.

As they descended, Skye saw Exodus, tears in his eyes. She wanted to go to him, to comfort him, but Tsubasa pulled her back towards her body, and lay her down into it.

^^^

A gasp.

Small and barely audible, but Skye's chest rose, filled with air once more. Her eyelids slowly peeled back, revealing the deep indigo of her eyes. Tsubasa was over her, smiling. He lifted her gently in his arms, all signs of her wound completely gone. Skye smiled weakly back at him, but her eyes then sought for Exodus...

Celeste felt Skye's sould return to her body and stopped abrubtly, shocked.

She shook off her feelings and continued her flight in the forest.

She finally caught sight of Donnavon.

"Donnavon!" she cried. "Donnavon, wait!"

It wasn't long before the werewolf came into view. "i have you now!" I shouted. I descended upon her and tackled her. then before she had a chance to react I held her up against a tree by teh fur on her chest. She changed to her werewolf form, looking rather annoyed. her wound was already gone, she must ahve taken some time to heal herself. " What do you want? you won the battle, so why don't you just go party or something?" SHe said nonchalant.

"Because you turned me on my friends and found pleaure in it!" I declared angrily. " YOu used me, hurt me, and overall hurt my friends. What makes you think I'l let you live after that?" I extended my right arm into teh Demon blade and held teh tip of it against her throat.

" Come now brother, do oyu realy want to be responsible for another innocent death?" My blade stopped as her words hit me. i gave her and incomprehensibale look.

" skye's death was not my fualt. It wsa your cursed control over my own spell taht caused it."

" NOt so. I could tell that you had managed to adjust your attack jsut before you followed through. You could have struck the other way, but instead you ran that poor defenseless girl right through. Maybe your demon side wanted some blood to be spilt, and was tired of all the kiddy games." She grinned.

"Stop it!" I shouted, pushing her harder up against the tree. 'I'll end this now!"

" And then you'll be responsible for another innocent death." She said.

"You are no innocent." I growled.

" Is that so? I have no power left, if you must know. It took all my remaining magical energy to heal myself. It will be some time before I get any of it back. All I have is my physical strength, and that is no match against you when your like this." She said in an admiring way, raising a hand to my chest.
I knocked her hand away with my swrod hand, the blade still attached to my wrist." So do you really want to be responsible for another innocent death? I'm sure your demon side would love it." I replaced my blade to her throat, but found I just couldn't follow through. I stood there contemplating, all teh while Moonlight did not move. She knew whether she lived or died rested in my hands.

Celeste had seen enough. She put a magical force around both Mage and Werwolf, holding them firmly in place. She separated them and turned to Donnovon, her hands glowing white, as did the forcfeilds surrounding them both.

"Donnovon, what are you doing?" she asked in a shocked way.

"I'm getting my revenge." I said to her, returning to Moonlight. " And I must ask you not to interfere. Right now the demon side is a focused on her as me, but if you bother us too much it may change it's target. And I am not in the right mind to control it right now." Moonlight hoped to escape during those few second wbut it didn't take long before she was pressed up against teh tree again.

"Come now brother, this again?" She said in exasperation.

"Shut up." I growled. "Right now, believe or not, I'm considering letting you live, but you really don't want to annoy me right now." Moonlight quickly shut up.

Celeste watched on fearfully. She knew that if Donnavon killed this being, his demon side would be thrilled. He would eventually lose control...

Then, Celeste would again have to do her job...

She shuddered and turned to flee, not bearing to see Donnavon seal his fate by spilling his sister's blood.

I turned around to see Donnovan fighting the demon, that killed Skye. I then shouted, "Why do you care so much for the half elf!? You fought with all your heart, I'm the one that didn't do anything, if you want to take your anger out on somebody, take out on me! I did nothing to help her." I then waited to see if Donnovan would get it through his thick skull that if I would have help Skye would have lived.

Exodus' expression turned lighter than anyone had ever seen. He didn't go near her, but out of elven instinct, he bow, not knelt down and bowed his head, he got down on both knees and bowed to her. And started muttering in elven tongue. Although it wasn't to Skye he was talking too. What he said roughly translated into, "Thank you, my wife. I'm so happy, you didn't let my world escape from my fingertips, if I would have lost her, like I did you....I would have been a lost soul, roaming the earth. I know you keep saying 'if it wasn't for me you'd be a lost soul', but you said it with a laugh, so I've thought you kidding. But now I see that you are right. Please, forgive me."

OOC: Skye we need to give that woman a name. XD

OOC: Donnavon is deep in the forest...
