Oh well, obviously there would be great, important jobs in our country's biggest city!
But there are also plenty of homeless people and crazies. That's what I meant, NYC has a wider array of people, so much more than just the buisnessy types. However, that could just be the very nice part of town. I don't know for sure, obviously.
I'm sure there are crazy homeless people in shanghai as well. so back off of that

I just noticed something. In Hiun City, everyone scrambling around in the streets is wearing a suit. Meaning, they are all going to a high paying job of sorts.
Doesn't that sound a lot more like Shanghai than NYC? If it was Manhattan, there would be a wider array of crazy characters. At least I think there's be. It could still be NYC, just a weird thing I noticed.
And I don't think "Liberty Ticket" really has any connection to America. Flying is very liberating, it's the freedom to go wherever you want in the world. Idk, it just seems like a very appropriate name for a plane ticket, no matter what the destination is.
If you go to any city in the world, I'm sure you would find people walking around in suits.

unless they come out with two other tickets that are named:
Life Ticket
[Liberty Ticket]
and the
Pursuit of Happiness Ticket

XDDDD that'd be hilarious and too Coincidental to Not be America =PP
but i doubt i'm right xP
Pursuit of Happiness is usually found with something/someone you love, not in some land.

But do we know that it is in fact a plane ticket? (I am really asking, I haven't heard). It could be for a boat which doesn't really have the same "liberating feeling" as flying. And even then if it was flying in a plane that is not liberating. Hang-gliding, wing-suit base jumping, sky diving, those are liberating.

My experience when flying aboard a plane wasn't liberating at all (in fact, pretty stressful).

I wonder now if the plane (if there is one that you can ride on) is a commercial plane or not...

There was a lighthouse on the Isshu map and a lighthouse on the ticket. I am pretty sure that is where we go to get Victini.

To be honest, I don't really care where Isshu is. Isn't Isshu in the Pokemon world....? Haha

Isshu is in Isshu. It obviously appears like it has influences from NYC, but this doesn't mean that it's literally situated in the area. The same can be said about the other regions.

Honestly, I'm kinda surprised this discussion of where Isshu is at is still being discussed. It's been months.

I'm surprised as well...
Well we aren't sure how the pokemon regions are situated compared to their real world counter parts...

Wow, okay, one, rude. I'm just stating an opinion, I'm being completely friendly.
Two. DID I SAY THERE WERE NO HOMELESS PEOPLE IS SHANGHAI? NO. I DID NOT. No need for you to be twisting my words around. But I bet we'd see more diversity in New York as opposed to Shanghai.

Shanghai is bigger so no Shanghai has more hobos.

19.2 million people in Shanghai, and around 22 million expected by 2020. Lot of people but Shanghai is a clean city, for the most part. I've seen a few poor neighborhoods that look like huge cube-shaped villages (can't think of the name of the one I'm talking about) but they're experiencing renovation/destruction.

Isshu couldn't be in Shanghai anyways. Too many different physical features and not enough skyscrapers.
