Being a Creationist myself, I will have to say the Chicken.

However, just for point of arguement, I don't believe it, but God COULD have created the egg which then hatched :P.

The chicken. How could their be an egg without a chicken? Doesn't make sense to me...

The chicken was first it says so in the Bible. Not sure where, but it was proved to us by our Religion teacher a few years back.
God created the animals, not the stage of development before them. He didn't create the embryo, he created the human...

I circle never ends. There is no point arguing who came first. It'll be in vain and takes an infinity to reach the answer.

im guessing the chicken because there couldent be an egg with out a chicken but than there also couldent be a chicken with out an egg..... there's a possibility that there could be a very first chicken! the chicken over lord :D

Then answer this, what comes before the evolved/mutated chicken of yours?

Pfft... Some organism that mutated from another organism etc.

EDIT: I just decided to Google it and found an explanation on HowStuffWorks and what they say seems right so I guess I'm changing my answer to an egg. >_>

The point is, there is no infinite cycle.

It shows that that you've done your research well! >.> All organisms, whether chicken or some freaky monster have the same DNA. So hands down, the egg(whether reptilian or amphibian) came first, scientifically.

The answer is simple. The Chicken came first, (prehistoric chicken had to lay the egg)
Spoiler:

The egg came first, not the chicken. Since I believe that the chicken evolved from some prehistoric being, I think the first chicken was hatched out of an egg. The mutation had to be happening from egg to egg over thousands of years, so the first chicken must have come from the egg, since it could have no other way of being alive. The chicken came first, you say? Then how was that chicken born, from a rock? Birthed from a mutant carrot? It came from an egg, and so the egg came first! :]]

Logically, the Chicken came first. Scientifically, the egg came first. However, religiously (not all religions) the chicken came first. So, the chicken wins. And.. I accidentally clicked on eggs. XD

Well, if you want to be scientific then it was the egg that was laid by a chicken-like ancestors that was closely related enough to still breed with chickens but not technically a chicken. So the egg. But we'll never know for sure, will we?

Chicken, because the egg-laying chook of today was OBVIOUSLY some sort of genetic mutation from scaled, non-egg laying parents. Duh.
