Which Crime show you like most to watch?

I've never really watched crime shows, I'm not a fan of the genre in general. Though I have seen one or two episodes of Cold Case and really enjoyed them for the stories that take you back a few decades. I think it's really interesting.

If we can extend the genre to "legal shows" as well, then you'll have one hell of a The Good Wife praise-rant on your hands.

I have to agree with this. I love B.D.Wong the most though, although my mom is a big fan of Christopher Meloni. SVU is by far better than even any other Law and Order. It's amazing and I could watch it for hours and hours and hours on end.

I haven't started to watch stories of Cold case...
Well you really like the story of Bones and CSI NY...
 
I prefer the ones that deal with real crime. My favorites include American Greed, Forensic Files, Body of Evidence: From the Case Files of Dayle Hinman, and America's Most Wanted.

I find real crime much more fascinating than scripted crime :P
 
Why you no post CSI: Crime Scene Investigation?!

Anyway, as you can tell from above, the first and original CSI is the one I prefer and watch. As for the other crime shows, I might watch them every so often!​

Like Elite Overlord LeSabre, I much prefer documentary-based "reality" crime shows such as COPS and America's Most Wanted.
If the discussion here were to also include legal dramas involving crime, my favorite in this category would be Matlock.

3. Law & Order: SVU

I never really liked CSI...
 
The Wire, I guess? Although it's less a crime show than a Greek tragedy about bureaucracy in all areas of the drug war. But... it has cops in it, so it counts!
 
Criminal Minds is my favorite by far, though Law and Order: SVU is really good too.

You are so right, she is perfect in that role!

I'm a huge fan of those crime shows that have wit and something extra. The Mentalist and Castle are 2 that I love the most. I was also a fan of the original CSI, and I love watching Criminal Minds.

3. NCIS

I used to like CSI, but it started to become uninteresting. All three of 'em (though I never really liked Miami to begin with). I haven't really watched any other crime shows, so I can't base an opinion on any of the others. I can't wait until the seventh season of Criminal minds; hopefully they'll patch things up with all the screw ups that was Season Six.
 
The only two crime shows that I occasionally watch are Law and Order: SVU and Law and Order. The cases are usually really interesting, and the actual characters from SVU are great. Shows like NCIS and CSI I don't really find myself immersed in, so I only watch them if there's absolutely nothing else on television.
 
I like shows like Cops because people are weird and talk all crazy when the cops catch them. And that's just something I find amusing. Just like seeing what police do really, haha.
