Which generation do you think had the best Pokémon designs?

gen 3-5 i think were all the highlights of pokemon design, imo. if i had to pick one though, it'd be gen 4. =P

a lot of my favourites are gen 2! xatu, bellossom, politoed.. lots of underrated gems. i also really like a lot of gen 3 and 5 mons, though the latter is pretty hit or miss with some terrible designs too
