Why Hoenn? Treecko and Grovyle are by far two of the coolest grass Pokemon ever, Combusken and Blazkien are cool as well. Mudkip is hilarious.

Johto has Cyndaquil (best line ever), and Totodile's line (awesome as well).

Kanto has the original three, can't hate them.

Guess what that leaves? A retarded monkey and stupid penguin. Sucks that Turtwig had to be thrown in with this bunch of clowns.
 
With the exception of Johto, I only liked one starter from each region (Charmander in Kanto and Treecko in Hoenn). I liked two of Johto's (Totodile and Cyndaquil). Sinnoh was kinda bleh, but after a while, Infernape kinda grew on me, though I still don't like its pre-evolutions.

I guess I vote Sinnoh.
 
I Hate The Sinnoh Starters Especially Chimchar,And Turtwig.Piplup Is Kinda Good.But Pokémon Got Less Created.
 
Sinnoh. I couldn't bring myself to like a super-diva iron penguin, flaming turd ninja monkey, and/or a turtle with mini jurrasic-earth on its back. Just too bizzare.
 
I really love all of the starters except for Torchic and Treecko. I don't really know why, I just don't like them. Sooo I'd have to say Hoenn.

the second generation starters are definitely the worse. heres my rankings:

3. 4th gen
4. 2nd gen (Not really well thought through if you ask me...)

I'm torn to be honest, I love most of the starters. :3. I mean, generation 1 were the first ones and had Charizard! :D
Generation 2 was my favourite generation and the only starter I dislike it Totodile.
Generation 3 has my favourite starter (Torchic) and I didn't really dislike any of them (I was a bit unsure on Treeko though. :\)
I will have to say Generation 4. I love Piplup, but I though Turtwig was a bit too much of a mixture of Squirtle and Bulbsaur (with it being a turtle with something on its back.) and did we really need another fire/fighting starter? :\
 
Meesa hate Kanto, very unoriginal! I mean a Dinosaur, another Dinosaur, and a Turtle...where did they get that from? The back of a cereal box?

Generation 4 is the only generation where I didn't like ANY of the starters. I was a dissapointed. I always liked at least one starter, I saw it as my faithful friend who was there with me from the beginning. But I never got that feeling with the Sinnoh starters, I didn't like any of them. And I couldn't wait to catch a pokemon I actually LIKED and shove the starter in the PC.

The first gen starters are my fav. I guess it's a nostalgia thing.

The only one I don't like from Johto is Chikorita and Croconaw.

Hoenn is a mix.
Treecko is okay, I really like grovyle but I don't like sceptile. Something about the design, I dunno what,

Torchic and Combusken are pretty good, but Blaziken is wicked awesome.

Mudkip and Swampert are mediocre, don't like Marshtomp much.
 
I'm gonna go with Sinnoh. :/

That's the only generation so far where I didn't really care for any of the starters. I'm not too fond of any of them, for whatever reason. I thought they might grow on, buuut it hasn't happened yet, and probably never will.

which ones are they? anyways, they were all ugly!
Because their evolutions and all, Blaziken? Marshtomp? Mudkip?

I really don't like Sinnoh starters, their just.. so... ew.. I mean come on. We don't need 2 turtle starters
 
It would be Sinnoh for me as well. With that generation, I didn't really like any of the starters in any particular way. Piplup is cute, but I don't really like Empoleon. The whole Turtwig line is "meh", and the only one I like in the Chimchar line is Infernape. With Kanto, I don't have any strong likes or dislikes of any starter. Johto would be my favourite, I love the whole Chikorita line as well as Cyndaquil line, though I've never liked Totodile's evolutions that much. With Hoenn starters, something bugs me about Blaziken's and Swampert's designs, but Sceptile looks cool and Torchic & Mudkip are both really cute~ :3
 
Not really a fan of the sinnoh starters. I dislike all of the chimchar line and don't really like turtwig or grotle.
 
I don't really like Hoenn...
They all looked weird...I just couldn't like them.
Sinnoh starters aren't really great either but I love Empoleon so...I only dislike chimchar.

Gen 2 is my least favorite. All the starters were ugly. >.<

I seriously wanted to tear that little leaf off of Chikorita's head. I wanted to snap Totodile's mouth like King Kong did in the movie to the T-Rex's.

I hate Cyndaquil too but not so much that I would want to completely destroy him.

As you may have guessed, I am not a supporter for GSC remake.

Oh. What is this? Gen 2 is most liked in the poll. Lets change that. That makes it four to four. Gen 1 and 2 are tied for first. Calling all Johto haters. Vote now! Make johto be an EPIC PHAIL! Like it always was and will be.
