Which Mario game is your favourite?

My favorite Mario game would have to be the old school choice of Super Mario World. I doubt the reasoning for my choice hinges on nostalgia, seeing as how I actually have much fonder memories of playing plenty of other games. It's just such a simple game to play. It almost never gets boring for me, and the TAS videos for it were pretty impressive.

Next in line comes Mario Bros 3, for largely the same reasons I like Super Mario World. It was a fun and simple side scroll, and I still play it to this day.

I'm also a big fan of the first two Paper Mario games. Along with Pokemon and Fire Emblem, it's pretty much the only series I like with "rpg" stuck on the genre label.

Yeah, Pokemon is the second most-popular and most-selling franchise of all video games. It only comes in second to the Mario franchise. Seriously, just pick an activity or sport and apply it to Mario and the gang, and you have a new game. Boom

Paper Mario and its (sequel would be my favourites (of what I've played). Any game that merges adorable art style and RPG elements with great dialogue gets my approval. ♥

Super Paper Mario is dead to me, though. :(

Classic Super Mario Bros., Super Mario World, The first 2 Paper Marios (Y u have to make the series suck Nintendo?) Mario 64 and Mario Sunshine. They're the only ones worth playing IMO.

I most enjoyed Super Mario Bros. for the NES, but hopefully The New Super Mario bros. Wii will change that. Chaotic muliplayers where you can be an ass to your friends are always the best ^.^

Super Mario Bros. 3 hands down is one of my favorite Mario games. Esepcially if I get to play the NES version. I only played the Super NES version. It is good, but it doesn't compare to the NES version.

I also like Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, Yoshi's Cookie, and Super Mario RPG.
