which moveset for alakazam????

Yeah, but it could be a novelty. And I didn't notice we had to give examples of pokemon who had a status increasing move.
 
Well, when you were talking about fragile sweepers with a focus sash to power up, steelix doesn't exactly come to mind. Zam is great in 3rd gen though. It involves more skill to use though, since focus sash and choice specs weren't around.

Yeah. Trick or Encore are awesome moves. Especially with a fast poke, like Alakazam. Who can actually put both of them to good use.
 
alakazam is an excellent trickbander. It can pull it off in 4th gen too. 120 base speed is nothing to laugh at.

Wouldn't HP Electric be better over charge beam since Zam has crazy SAtk?
