Which one is easier: creating a thread or replying to a discussion?

Coming up with an idea for a thread is hard for me so obviously I'd prefer posting in a thread most of the time. And besides, I don't feel comfortable creating threads because I tend to look back at them, which is probably a good thing but idk, every single day or hour.

I find replying to a thread is easier. A lot of it is for the reasons already stated. There's just so many things that go through my head when creating a thread. Is this the right section? Will people want to reply? Is there already a thread like this? How often should I check back?...

My thoughts are endless. When replying to a thread, the topic has already been established so it requires less thought. ^^

i'm usually not the guy brilliant enough to come up with tons of ideas for threads, so i always find it easier to post in a thread than to post a thread. maybe if i had better ideas for stuff i'd post threads more but i don't usually. :P

and yeah, when i make a thread, i tend to constantly check to see if someone posted in it. DID THEY POST NOW oh wait that was like two minutes ago that i last chec-- HOW BOUT NOW

I like to make my own thread, but no one usually understand my logic. So I stick to replying to threads than making my own.

Replying to discussions is easier because there are so many threads already made, I have trouble thinking up a new one XD

Replying to a discussion is better. Although starting new topics is always a good idea, they're not always promising...

I prefer to make new topics because I feel like I'm doing more for the community and I feel good getting a creative discussion going.

But obviously replying is easier because you can make a decent response in a little bit. But I prefer not too.

Just me.

For me, I'd say it's easier to create a topic, but it's more fun, in a sense, to reply to an ongoing heated conversation. It makes the mind work a little bit, if you know what I mean.

Replying to discussions is easier than creating threads.

Creating threads requires most of my stamina: you have to figure out why you're making the thread, you have to write a title - in other words, it's complicated.

Replying to discussions is easier, because all you have to do is think and reply.
